You could make the lady at the counter a little more customer service oriented. If I came to her to rent a U-Haul I would leave and go to your competition. So glad that when I returned from the storage area to turn in the truck the men were there with a pleasant attitude versus "the grouch" that was there previously. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

The price to rent a truck is getting way to expensive. I can rent a pick up truck from enterprise for a whole day for 100 instead of 4 hours with uhaul.

My sister Asmaa Fahmy and her Husband Tarek Elfayoumi are using yoir services amd they recommended it to me. I really had a good service, van was very good. No problems what so ever. Was very good size for what I needed to transport. Just wish yoj reconsider fuel refund policy, i placed by error much more fuel than what I should, i received the truck 3/4 of the tank but by mistake i returned it full but the said they cant do fuel refund even they charged me completely for every single mile. So wish you reconsider that so client experience will be much better Thanks Ahmed Fahmy Rabea

Wonderful, don't like that I had to pay for the whole month when I wanted to move my things out 5 days into the month I think that should be adjusted like the truck rentals however everything else was great..thanks for the service

It will be nice to have trailers that have a back to allow easy removal from the hitch when trailer is loaded.

Guy didn't know what he was doing. Truck is in poor mechanical condition. No cruise control and that's hard on gas. Your trucks are supposed to save gas not use more gas. We will never use UHaul again.

The Customer service reps were very pleasant. Alana Checked me in and another female rep (I just can't remember her name) checked me out. They were both extremely pleasant. It is hard to recomment improving something excellent.

Returning the trailer was a royal pain. I was told by 1 of your employees that I could drop the trailer and leave. Good thing I looked at the sign because I would have lost it if you would've charged me $20 for not downloading your app and taking a couple of pointless pictures. I'm pretty confident that someone is going to look over the trailer for damage and not take my word on it so what was the point. Waste of my time and an unnecessary hassle. I've already deleted the app

Something was wrong in that the system showed a drop off in Wilkes Barre but my contract was for williamsport.

Movers didn't show up. Checked their last reviews and most people had complained about them not showing up. Rebooked with u Haul and the next moving company didn't answer calls either. Had to book Movers outside of U-Haul and wait for 24 hours. U haul should bear some accountability for allowing terrible moving companies be booked through their website

The general manager, Denise Osborne, exceeded my expectations when amending a reservation that possessed a stressful unavailable arrangement for an available truck last minute. JOB WELL DONE!

Overall very satisfied with U-Box experience, as this was my first time utilizing it. I found the entire process from placing a reservation to scheduling delivery and pick up to be very easy and user friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to move themselves because of how seamless the process was unless you're renting more than four boxes. I rented six, the max you can have delivered at one time. If someone was to be more budget conscience, they would not go this route though. I found the storage cost of $508 per month for six boxes to be exorbitant given the cost to initially drop off and pick up and then delivery to final destination drop off and pick up are separate fees of $80+ each time, so those are in addition to the monthly charge. You can move yourself into a storage unit to hold your belongings for half that price. If you're following and mathing, we're at about $1 176 for less than two months. That's another thing. Being charged for an entire month while not utilizing an entire month. And whether you are charged when the boxes are dropped off or you're charged once they are actually in storage makes no difference because the fee structure doesn't make sense. Drop off September 12, packed and picked up September 18. Stored in U-Haul's warehouse from September 18 to October 21, which was the delivery date to the new home. Final pick up was October 25 and yet I was charged $508 twice, even tho that's clearly not two months of storage/usage. So yea, all in all satisfied but I feel the fee structure is such that they take advantage of you bc clearly September 12 to October 25 is not two months.

Nobody. Absolutely nobody and move their items up stairs. You have the physical space to create a truck dock leading to the upper level. I've had to do this right before and after ankle surgery. Shame on you.

The charge of $10 for gas was unprincipled. We did fill the truck to 1/2 a tank of gas as we received it at 1/2 tank. Storage area is very inconvenient, low ceilings, dark and such a long distance from loading/unloading area. Really a disappointment. We have had storage units for a long time and this was the least convenient setting we have ever rented.

There was an issue with paying as they say that they didn't accept my card (but took money out of it). Then I switched my card and they had $357 on hold, but when I turned in the truck it said that I owed $93 more (not in person but online) and tried to take it from the original card that they said they couldn't take. They released the $100 hold but sent me a bill saying I owe $123 because of late fees???? I thought that all of this is why they had a larger hold? Then they took $11 out of that same card and sent me an email after the fact that they were attempting to take the money and then another that payment failed (despite taking $11). This was such a nightmare. And to top it off, no one can tell my why I still owe money if the money was on hold. I'll never use uhaul again.

The girl at the counter was horribly rude. From the second I walked in. Moving is a very stressful time in general. Some moving situations are due to abuse or other traumatic events...fire, death etc... People like her should not be working in customer service. Maybe somewhere she doesn't have contact with other humans. Terrible, just terrible.

Advertise correctly your 6x12 trailer with ramp does not have a 6 foot opening I could not haul what I needed on it so it was kind of worthless to me. The sales person did not tell us this. So your trailet went for a 200 mile ride for nothing.

I have rented your trucks at least 8 times over the past few months. The staff is always professional and pleasant. Just a quick example, rented a truck today. Got home no moving pads were in the truck. Called in to inform them and within 15 minutes they were at my door step. Wouldn't it be great if the world worked like this? Yours truly, Christine S.

Craig Mccarty was super helpful with the whole process of getting my hitch installed. He was able to talk intelligently about the different options for my particular vehicle and was very kind and polite throughout our interactions and I appreciated his attention to detail.

Most definitely rank this uhaul the worst place to store anything well place is nice the staffing is horrible. Manager did nothing but try to make it harder for me to get my stuff out hoping I leave it behind so he can take it. No matter what you think of me you will always look up to me have a good day!!

Hi this was my second time using a uhual from the same place. This time around the uhual needs a lot of mechanical maintenance. It seems like the transmission is going out and also the breaks. It was a bit of a acary 2 hr drive. I wasnt sure it it was going to make it. Going down hill was the worse i do recomend uhual but that truck needs helps.

I would say that overall the experience was great, I just wasn't happy with the other patrons. Finding trash from another renter in my storage bin, which I did speak to the site manager about, was not something I was hoping to encounter. Still it comes down to the human condition and that not everyone is respectful. Uhaul service and storage was great but they can't avoid the things they can't control.

Truck left me sit 2x in one day. and once on 376 interstate in Pittsburgh. The battery terminal was loose. Mentioned to Pitt location manager, he said he would make note and inform the Williamsport location to get me a partial refund for the inconvenience. called the Williamsport location and received nothing but a phone number to call. No help, so I will not use in the future. I will use your competitors due to poor customer service, unless. this is made right.

Picked up trailer 8/18/24 at 10:19 am. Dropped off trailer 8/19/24 at 7:00 am. Received call 8/20/24 at 3:00 pm asking if I needed more time for the trailer because it was due that morning at 10:00 am, when I had already turned it in the day prior. Explained I had better not be charged extra for a trailer that was already returned. Told it would be cleared up showing my delivery at 7:00 am on 8/19/24. Clearance receipt shows drop of 8/20/24 at 10:18 am. Frustrating lack of attention to detail or honesty towards a customer .

The windshield was covered in bugs. It would be nice if it was clean for my trip. It was a 15 foot box truck and it was not easy to get it somewhat clean. The people we dealt with in both location were excellent.

I love U-Haul and they have an excellent business model. This location is awesome . However, all of this is overshadowed by the black cloud of one individual with horrible people skills. I believe she is an assistant manager. She is nasty. , overbearing and a terrible influence to the young employees who are learning how to interact with the public. I'm sure the manager is aware of this and has done nothing about it. One bad apple ruining the good name of a great company! Such a shame!

Let me tell you something about this place right here in Williamsport Pennsylvania on Penn Street 238 U-Haul. So let me start off by saying this is the best place I've ever seen in my whole life and I traveled all over the world I've used thousands of U-Haul storage places and trucks and these people in Williamsport go above and beyond it's inside it's locked it's secure it's comfortable in the winter it's warm in the summer it's cold I got good ac they even have an area where you can leave stuff behind for other people to help them. I'm just so amazed with these people I am so amazed with this place I tell all my friends and all my family if I could rate you a thousand stars I would nobody can compete against NOBODY can compete with you guys. I have enough time today to do this review because these people deserve it if you can't take two seconds out and respect the company that's going above and beyond for We the People then you're probably a Democrat. With that being said make sure you vote Trump 24 America depends on it and the U-Haul company depends on America and we the people

I love how friendly the staff are and they are very helpful. The storage unit inside is very clean only problem I had on 6/25/2024 when I was moving my belongings in was there was a roach climbing the wall between units 1321 &1323 and my unit is on that floor. But I let a staff know and they sent someone up to spray and I just pray that no roaches reach my unit because I will be upset and have to throw all my belongings away other then that I will recommend this place to friends and family.

We utilized this location for our recent out of state move, we rented a storage space, 2-UBox's and not sure how many trips to this location to buy boxes. I meet many different employees and they all were great extremely knowledgeable and very customer friendly. They helped make a moving experience less stressful. ✌

My storage unit had been infested with Mice and Mold!!! Been paying for this unit for over 4 years. I had to throw almost EVERYTHING AWAY! I had pay $100 for the dumpster cause I couldn't put my stuff in my car cause of the mouse droppings. All I got from the person in the office was sorry. Well sorry doesn't replace the items I had to throw away! Very gross to open my unit and see mouse droppings all over my stuff. It was gross.

I find that other tenants are not courteous. I feel that if you utilize the carts to move in and out, when you're finished using them, a person should be taking them back to the place where they found them so others can use them. In the last few days multiple tenants of diverse backgrounds have been through and in those instances carts have not been returned.

Thus far my experience has been good - however, I just moved in a few days ago and since I can't edit after posting, I won't be able to update over time. The staff at Williamsport, PA u-haul storage facility were friendly and very helpful. The facility is easy to access, has sufficient carts/trolleys for move in, is climate controlled, has a lock and pest trap in each unit, clean, and well taken care of. The high ceiling 10'x10' unit was able to hold everything we had packed in a 20" u-haul truck.

Cannot recommend U-Hail storage as the cost of the stall rental continued to increase. There are other storage rental facilities that are more reasonable in cost.

The facility and the auto pay was a complete and total rip off, I was charged late fees on top of late fees on multiple different occasions even though it was the U-Haul system I said something multiple times never once was I reimbursed for any of that extra money that was taken. That's why I cancelled payment on it and am filing a lawsuit. Extremely dissatisfied with the service of every employee that I spoke with to try and have the issue resolved.

My lady was nice and had a sense of humor like when u are moving nothing gos quit right and it's stressful stuff breaks people are complaining the whole time they're helping u. And the feeling of closing one chapter of your life and starting the next. It can be overwhelming and the lady was so nice and humble. Really appreciated her kindness tho the exhaustion

The climate controlled storage is great, as are the assortment of carts available to move items into the storage space. We did not like the long walk from the entrance door to our assigned unit, the fact that the long hallways and many turns are inconvenient for moving things like large pieces of furniture and mattresses. What we disliked most was that the floors are not completely smooth and the surfaces change, so items placed on the wonderful carts have a tendency to vibrate and fall off of the carts. Also, we would suggests that the fire extinguishers be relocated so that they do not stick out into the already narrow hallways, as they create another obstacle to avoid over the course of the long walk. They should be recessed into the wall. Overall, we had a good experience and the staff at the facility were wonderful to deal with!
