This location had problem with the lights in the office. It was dark but that was all.armando D.
I set up online to pick up a 17" trunk in Coopersburg next to my house. When i went to pick up the truck i found out that the location was closed and no trucks where on there lot. After searching through the u-haul site i found that they transferred my appointment to the Bethlehem/Allentown store but no one from that store or u-hual had ever called or emailed me to verify any of this. Had to drive an extra 30 minutes out of the way and pay for the extra miles due to poor serivce from u-haul.Phillip W.

I booked a pickup truck one week in advance. 1 hour prior to pick up time I received a call from the local dealer saying my rental was cancelled due to it "just popping up on his system today and that truck had already been reserved by someone earlier than you did". He was extremely rude and gave an attitude of "oh well what are you really going to do about it". It was absolutely the worst display of customer service I have ever had, that attitude of F U. Go ahead call corporate, I am canceling you simply was the worst. He could not have cared less about the fact that I reserved this a week ahead and now one hour before pickup he was canceling my rental. When I did call corporate to complain, they claimed I was not canceled and placed me on hold. When they returned they said the store denied ever calling me even though I have it on my phone. I picked up the truck and after I received the keys I said to the only person there "are you the one who called me" He said he never called and didn't care what my phone says. Nobody would ever even say sorry we called by mistake, or anything. It was just an attitude of screw you, we will lie about calling you and you have your rental so shut up. If I had another option I would have never even used it. I have already told as many people as I can about this. It is a shame because I bet I have used this particular dealer at least 10 times over the years. This whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. Totally unprofessionalfrank G.

My reservation included furniture blankets and moving dollies, but none of these were available when I picked up the truck. There seems be a real disconnect between UHaul's reservation system and local dealer inventory. Also, the cargo area of the truck was filthy.Bryan C.

This is the worst U-Haul location I've rented out of. The staff (Angel Casado) is probably the most customer unfriendly attendant I've run into. Had a pissed off look and was quite rude especially when I returned a rented trailer. I rented trailer from this location. My original location was not even this one but U-Haul changed my preferred pickup location prior to start of the rental due to equipment unavailability at my preferred location. When I returned trailer, he took it off (swearing the entire time), then when he was done, did not even look me in the face and say if there were issues or no issues found. Just turned around with back towards me and said, â€œit's done; you can go!â€ This guy had very rude terse responses, and did not even bother to close out my rental before I left until I called U-Haul customer care who then called him about it to close it out. Definitely never renting or even buy a shipping tape from this place - NEVER!Kofi A.

Engine light on when I picked up truck.. Phil says its always on and not an issue. Not comfortable driving 125 miles this way, no pother equipment available to swap out with. I know fuel economy suffered because of this. Will be using contact form to report this issue.David K.

The truck ran horribly. My husband thought I picked it up off the side of the road and not a real U-Haul location. The tow haul light was on. All employees I encountered were nice though! But all in all, it was worth the money I paid for it, for the time I saved.Danielle K.

Back of truck was filthyâ€¦covered in dust and about 30 random boxes scattered everywhere. The truck itself was very old and dilapidated, and had a ton of miles. It would barely stay running at a stop and got AWFUL gas mileage from there being something wrong with the engine. The U-Haul representative even told me when I got there to pick it up that the truck ran terribly, but gave me no other option. I will never use U-Haul again, what an awful moving experience.Bryan R.

First of all, the Windshield wipers did not work. I had to sit on the side of I-95 for 3 hours until the storm passed. I was not going to risk an accident and crashing your uhaul truck. This resulted in me dropping off the vehicle late. Also, the uhaul representative did not inform me the uhaul had to be back at a certain time for another customer. This resulted in me rushing home during a storm. The uhaul asked me why THEIR customer service rep did not put it in the notes that I didn't have to have it back at a certain time. That is not my job, I'm not a uhaul employee. I was blown away because he made this out to be my fault. Again, I'm not the uhaul customer who made this error. The uhaul representative at this location did not provide a positive customer experience. No customer should have to be harassed over the phone while paying for this service.Shane M.

I did not get everything I ordered. I ordered a refrigerator-type hand truck and got a normal hand truck, I also ordered 3 dozen blankets and got 6 blankets I feel think your mileage charge is outrageous. I thought I was supposed to get 30 miles free and then 1,39 after that. I drove 97 miles total and was charged the full 1,39 a mile. What is the sence in renting a truck for 40 dollars a day, having to fill the gas that wasn't full when you get the truck and still have to pay 134,83 for miles? I think I am done with U HaulKathy B.
