The first car carrier had a tail light not working. It was checked after complete hook up. Checking this prior to pickup will save time.

The phone was never answered over the course of many calls across many days. We reserved a dolly and blanket for our truck rental and neither were put in the vehicle. When we called to note this oversight and ensure we wouldn't be charged, we were told it would be taken care of...but we were then charged for the dolly anyway. Extremely frustrating.

The trailer was NOT at the location of address given to us 2800 Moorhead @ Nicks Auto Supply. We had to drive an additional 40 minutes to the location where the trailer was at Uhaul of Boulder. This was very stressful. This was an addled stress that didn’t need to be had the information given to us had been correct.

Lied to me about where extra charges were coming from. Was told that I went over on mileage, but my final invoice showed it was because of not enough gas in the tank. I would have explained at the time that the woman who helped at pickup told me that my gas gauge was closer to 1/2 and not 5/8.

Pick up time, price and size of Uhaul all changed when I picked up Uhaul. Had to reschedule over the phone to pick up the Uhaul truck size I wanted & get price renegoiated. This took a lot of time. The upside was the Latino/Hispanic employees were very apologetic and helpful. They used good customer service skills.

After-hours return was confusing. I was told to call U-Haul when I returned the trailer. I did, and then the person handling that conversation updated my reservation not to end 1.5h early, but to add another 24h onto the top of it. All personnel I interacted with at this location were Excellent.

Very little engagement from the person who told me to leave the keys in the truck and then go. He seemed very rushed and did not give any eye contact. I completely forgot to tell him about how I would like the $5 returned because furniture pads were not provided.

I was late for my pickup (bus was late) and when I got there the local manager had switched my pickup from mobile to manual, so I had to wait for the location to open before getting my rental and delaying my day even further. When I asked why this had been done, the employee said "The manager did it." and was quite surly about it, offering no real explanation or apology.

Worst/most rude customer service I’ve ever experienced. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. I was guaranteed a comp by a manager after waiting on hold for 45 minutes. The location manager refused to honor that promise. You will receive a chargeback and as many bad reviews as I can post unless the issue is resolved ASAP

After returning the trailer I rented this location managed to come up with 2 additional charges to my credit card amounting to almost the same amount as the rental. Never received an explanation and after several phone calls I still do not know what they have been doing or getting the charges reversed. Employees in the store are not interested in customers at all. Very unprofessional. Do not go here for a rental.

I have used many different haul locations around the country and this was by far the best experience I have had. The staff was knowledgeable and efficient and the truck was ready when I arrived and had no issues at all. The staff makes all the difference, and they are what makes this location stand out. I paid $10 for 12 furniture pads...I had to drive 1/2 hr. to get to my storage unit and when I opened the trailer there were no pads inside. I didn't have time to go back to get pads to I had to pack without. We just returned the trailer to Dave's Hancock Service, no pads were in the trailer when returned. I would like a $10 refund for no pads..Thank you.

This location is full of a bunch of idiots. Incompetence is rampant. I waited two weeks for a call back with a bunch of reminders and no response. Also, there manager “Frank” does not seem to exist. Every time I asked for him “he doesn’t work today” which apparently is everyday. When I finally was able to schedule an appointment they pushed it back an hour without telling me and still managed to start 45 minutes late. Never coming back to this location.

Belligerent and fraudulent. I tried to ask questions about changes in their policy and they refused to answer, just repeating "that's our policy" over and over & adopting an angry tone / interface. Worse, they don't do a valid inspection of the car beforehand. They say they take pictures, but then never deliver them, so as a renter, you have no recourse; they could totally screw you over. Twice they promised to send me pictures, and they never did. It's more customer slavery here than customer service. They also double charged me for items. The van did run well, and the drop off was easy - but not worth it in the end.

The store manager was rude, dismissive and examples this poor customer service behavior to his employees. We are Boulder natives and will not ever come back to this location due to his behavior. For the sake of your business, my strong recommendation as a business owner myself would be to let the manager go or have a strong intervention of his business practices. His disregard for us was insulting. We are not high maintenance or challenging customers and felt like an inconvenience in this store. We deeply appreciate the services Uhaul provide but interacting with the manager and employees at this location 100% lose my future business.

No parking for customer cars - I had to find public parking on the next block. My truck wasn't cleared off of snow, I had to shovel out the bed and go back to my car for an ice scraper. Employees were nowhere to be found once I was handed the keys.

The truck was dirty, inside and out. There was no windshield washer fluid. we were running late to pick up the truck. Our GPS said we would get there at 7 minutes after closing. We called and were assured that they would stay open for us. We arrived at 7:07 and the place was locked up and closed. had to come back the following day to pick up the truck. Kind of surprised that the truck stayed several more hours in their possession and we received it dirty.

The 2 children in the office when I arrived were doing nothing. My truck was not pulled, serviced, fueled or ready for me at all. When they finally brought it up front, there was so much ice on the windshield it would not have been safe to drive. I was not given the size truck I reserved, nor did I even get a confirmation the day before. When I went inside to ask about the smaller truck, they were rude, and insistent it was the right size. When I asked them if they had another 20' truck that was actually 20', they just stared at me clueless. I then asked them to please call one of their other locations to see if a 20' wad available somewhere else. They refused to help and told me "That's your truck, take it or leave it". When I finally got the truck to our house and opened the back, it reeked of marijuana. We had church friends and a few missionaries arriving to help us move, that was totally unacceptable. The 2 rude, immature, unprofessional stoners you had "working" that day are only hurting your business. I always use UHAUL when I move, but this experience will make me doubt that decision and probably won't ever trust that location again. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service (Nora) when I got home, then had to photograph the truck's damage to protect myself since no walk through was done when I picked it up. Did I mention I was given a truck with 1/4 tank of gas? You have a pump on site, and still they couldn't do anything to promote your business or satisfy a customer. As long as those 2 are employed by you, your business and customer safety is at risk
