I was not informed about the online vehicle inspection. The lot attendant was rude. The vehicle beginning mileage was more than reported. I reported the mileage online when I saw the email. I was charged twice for the extra mileage that I didn't use. This was a terrible experience. Please refund the extra charge I shouldn't have been charged in the first place.

The truck was filthy and smelled like cigarettes. I noted that when I picked up the truck on the paperwork. When returning it they wanted to charge me a $25 cleaning fee for something I picked up dirty. Very dirty. Tire air warning was on as well.

The milage wasn't correct on the truck, the gas was at 1/8 and they said it was at 1/4 tank. No one inspected the truck before renting it to me. There was a piece of metal, a large brown paper and a air plug left in the vehicle which I returned to the facility the same say. Never had a issue like this before. I said some to the front desk when I returned the truck at around 5pm on 10.28.2020.

I don't have anything bad to say. I do have to say that the 2 gentlemen that work at this facility on this day were fabulous to work with. They were very personable and friendly. That in itself is huge nowadays.

I return the truck after hours and was charged a service fee. I wasn't told about the fee if I dropped off the key in the box. The same time that you take to inform the customer about dropping off the key, you can also let them know to check out on their phones to avoid the service charge. Simple communication goes a long way.

The truck was blocked by trailers had to remove barricades and drive on side walk to get it out of the lot at 6 am . Also place didn't offer parking for my véhicule . Also fuel was on E , stuff didn't have a mask on and was approaching me I had to tell him to stay away .

The person who waited on me seemed poorly trained. When I requested a dolly, another staffer said they did not have any. I asked if he knew of another UHaul that might have one, he said no one has them and none would be coming soon. I asked why UHaul didn't have dollies, he said he couldn't give me what he didn't have. Clearly, that did not answer my question. Another problem was during the drive. The windshield wiper fluid didn't work. We purchased the fluid, thinking it was empty and in need of a refill; however, when we poured it into the container, it only took a small amount. It did not need the fluid, there must have been a blockage in the line that prevented the squirting of the fluid to clean the window. I thought UHaul checked these things during maintenance prior to a new rental. I mentioned this to the drop off location, so the repair can be made for the next customer.

They called me the day after I dropped off the truck after hours and insinuated that I never returned the keys when all along they were in the drop box ... Maybe they should have looked before calling and accusing me Of keeping the keys!

I reserved a truck the day before coming to pick it up,the wait time was over an hour to get the truck. It was only one person checking persons out and the line was out the door. They had a problem with another customer reservations which they had to call corporate and that took 45 minutes alone. The clerk was trying to be helpful but she stated that she was not in a rush. She stated that it's always one person on Saturday when it's extremely busy. So my suggestions is to schedule more help in a busy location.

They should start doing inventory as they start their shift. I returned my recent rental on the same day I got it. They never closed the rental until I went back in there the next day around 7: at night to find out if the equipment got stolen off their property. They claim they never saw the equipment on the lot all throughout the day

My return location was changed from what was on my contract and I was not contacted so when I went to return to my contracted location they told me it would be an up charge. I logged into my account to see where it had been changed to. And the new location was not open so I had to drag around the tow dolly for another day.

The truck and windows were filthy and the service tire pressure system light was on from the moment I started the engine until I returned it. The drivers side sun visor was missing and the universal joints were clunking when starting from a stop. The windshield wipers were making a banging noise and it looked like the rubber wiper was not installed properly and the metal part of the blade was rubbing the glass making that noise. This truck is tired and needs to be retired as it's so old the rubber steering wheel is disintegrating from the sun. The pickup truck that I reserved never arrived so I had to take a box truck instead. Ken, the manager, did call the person who had the pickup and he said he would arrive in 15 to 20 minutes but never showed. Repeated calls to him went unanswered and at 8 pm, closing time, Ken asked me what would I like to do. I took a 10 foot box truck instead at the pickup truck rate. Ken and his assistant were very helpful and pleasant during the transaction and it wasn't their fault the renter before me did not return the truck when he was supposed to. I hope he was charged for another day and maybe a penalty fee for making me wait an hour and a half and never getting the truck I had reserved. Thankfully, they did have something else for me to use as I had a critical deadline job with the truck early the next morning and had to leave my house before they opened.

First I was given a car transport that had a strap broken and I had to return back to get a new trailer .,then the trailer I was given they didn't give me the pig tail for the lights . Got pulled over by the sheriffs officer and couldn't drive on highway 75 . So that happened

Upon arrival I was immediately told there were no trucks. The woman working wouldn't even look at the computer. I told her I made a reservation several days ago and was confirmed...a truck would be available. Still she said no. I left briefly and returned to a man working who actually used the computer and said “we have your truck”. I said I know you do. I'm looking at the keys for it on the board. Got the truck and left. This was a little after 2pm 8/29/2020. Around 6-630 we were returning. Stopped at the corner of Boynton Beach Blvd and Knuth at a BP for gas. Put $15 in and went to restart the truck and it was dead. Could not jump it (stupid side post batteries) and waited on hold for over 20 min to no avail. My friend who was following me rushed to the location before they closed at 7. Seeing as the phone was not being picked up we figured they would be busy. Wrong. They informed us that we were to call roadside assistance, lock the keys in the truck and leave. So we did. I waited on hold nearly another 20min for assistance to no avail. Used the website. Scheduled help. Got one text saying file was received. Then nothing. We left the truck around 715-730. I didn't hear from roadside assistance until 10pm via text saying they were still 90mins away. I'm so glad I didn't sit there waiting. To top it off I've been charged twice. The initial estimate hold was actually processed even through I was nowhere near the estimated miles I provided. Then days later they charged me the real total. I've called customer service to deal with this but have not been contacted yet. I've also disputed the charge with my credit card company. Sadly, unless nothing else is available I will never use U-Haul again. I use moving trucks a lot to help friends and family move. And for the last few years the quality of service at most locations is terrible and the condition of trucks mechanically is sketchy.

The service people were very helpful especially the young man who wrote up my order/contract. What could improve - The vehicle was very Dirty outside, The inside smelled. With that said I understand a cargo van is not like a mini van which would have been a better fit for me .

They need more customer service agents and a better onsite reservation process!!! I reserved my truck 5 days in advance and I called Customer Service the morning of my rental to confirm there would be a truck available. I was put on hold for 45 minutes while she tried contacting the location. When I arrived at 5:00 to pick up the truck they didn't have enough trucks for all of the scheduled rentals and they told me the representative I confirmed with in the morning had done something with my reservation which had moved me to the bottom of the reservation list. After 10 stressful minutes of discussion, the associate was finally able to find a truck for me and he gave me a discount which I appreciated. When I got the truck home about 2 miles away I realized they put the gas tank was 3/8 full on my rental contract but it was only 1/4 full. Obviously no one inspected the truck in person before they rented the truck out again. I tried calling Customer Service again to change the contract and after 15 minutes of holding someone answered and then put me on hold again. After an hour of waiting on hold I just hung up. Terrible customer service!
