Well… Everything went smooth and efficiently… all your employees were friendly they said hello… and this is the second time that Alfonso has helped me with my rental and million questions…. He is a wonderful employee please let him know that I recognized it and shared it with you… he truly deserves it!! Thanks again

Angelo P.Had a reservation one month in advance for a 5:30pm pick up at Uhaul in Niles, IL on the day of pickup Uhaul called me to say the GM was going home and I would not be able to get the trailer, first time ever in any business have I heard that. I had to go out of my way but was glad to do so after meeting the GM at the Desplanies store. I will definitely go out of my way to deal with the Desplanies GM store.
DAVID A.Everyone from inside the store to installing and connecting the trailer I rented was amazing. Big difference in the customer experience from a U-Haul center store as opposed to a dealer location. Je la recommande fortement.

Jeff P.I was threatened with theft because of miscommunication on their part, and the trailer was old and I had a very hard time opening the sliding door it took hours to unjam it and lift it free. As a long time user of uhaul this has been my worst experience ever

Gerardo R.Talk to staff about customer service. I called to make sure I was going to the right location. Was put on hold. I stayed on hold and drove 30 min to location. Waited in 8 person line. Got to the front, still on hold and got helped in line before the phone call. So I ask “you guys just wait til the lobby is empty to answer the phone?†Guy doesn't even respond. I ask again. Nothing. Just ignored me. 1 person working on a Saturday. Get it together uhaul.

Adrian C.Uhaul employee did not check mileage and gas level properly. I was charged 34 miles extra but was not charged for extra gas use. Next time I will check before leaving. Maybe they trusted someones iphone scan which could have been faked?
william T.I requested two U-Boxes to move from the midwest to the east coast. Overall, I liked the service for the cost and staff was friendly up until my move occurred. I asked that my boxes be shipped to a U-Haul Storage facility with access to storage units. I was reassured that my boxes were being delivered to a U-Haul Storage facility with storage units where I could unload my items for longer storage. I also also told I'd received one free month of free storage for each U-Box. Unfortunately, I found out this was not the case after moving half way across the country. Upon arrival to the east coast, my U-Boxes were being held on the back lot of an Auto Body Shop with very limited hours and no access to any nearby storage facility. I had to tow both U-Boxes approx 35 mins away to find a storage unit. I attempted to contact U-Haul customer service on multiple occasions afterwards and was "guaranteed" a callback from a supervisor. Approx 6 months later, still no callback. Good concept, reasonable prices if all goes as originally planned. Don't know that I'd use U-Boxes again though, strictly based on the failure to attempt to resolve my issue or even callback. I'd rather pay more for better quality customer care.

wen Y.Location was okay but I reserved a 9' van. I flew in for a job and was told upon landing at 9 that they did not have a van and I would have to wait until the next morning to get it. Completely messed up our work plans. Ended up having to get a 15' box truck that cost more per day and mile just so we had a vehicle to work the next morning. My reservation had been confirmed for a 9' van days prior and said it would be available 24/7 truck share. No point in making reservations if they are not going to have the appropriate equipment on the lot.
