Apparently your employee Keanda Davis @ 2830 Broadway in Sacramento isn't qualified enough to read a fuel gauge. This is part of the declining experience with Uhaul. I had to spend an hour on the phone getting fuel charges reversed because Keanda can't properly do his/her job. Thank goodness based on past dealings with Uhaul I took photos. Otherwise I would have stuck paying your extortionist rate for 3 gallons of gas @ $65.25. Or maybe it's Uhauls policy to fraudulently charge the customer in hopes they won't recognize your error and just pay the extra charges. Either way, your employees and service leave much to be improved. Seems completely unsafe and unprofessional that your employees have to fill your vehicles with gas cans when customers pick up rental trucks. I don't see Hertz, Avis, Enterprise rentals doing things that archaic.FRANK C.

Make sure the trucks are ready to go full of fuel and not have gas leaks and not get blamed for taking out a truck and then happen to bring it back because a faulty fuel lines and they get blamed for it because I didn't take out the insurance the second truck they gave me soon as I got going I had problems with it all the way with the check engine light coming on because of the gas cap and it was on there tightly very poor management skills at that location very disappointed and probably will never use U-Haul again because of that situationMark D.

After the return of the UHaul I was asked if I wanted a hard copy receipt or an email receipt, I chose an email receipt, I did not receive my email receipt. I will most certainly recommend this location, the staff were very efficient and professional. But the follow through with the email receipt was not satisfactory.Ruben O.

The vehicle was clean inside and was easy to drive, but there were some issues with the outside of the vehicle. The covering over the gas cap was missing, which wasn't an issue, but someone could have easily stolen. The panel above license plate, right above the bumper was extremely loose and I am surprised it stayed on during the trip.Jeff M.

When someone makes a reservation, and they choose a location and pick an early time, don't change the location and the time the DAY BEFORE!! This was such an inconvenience, I scheduled for a 7am pick up because we were leaving that day. Then get a text the day before saying that I can pick up at 2pm the next day. You should not have the option to set up a pick up if you can't make it happen. Thank goodness we were able to get the truck at 1030, but that was after several phone calls.Ashley L.

The location was convenient, but the truck had a combination lock on it when it was supposed to have a key lock on it, which I only realized once I was home and ready to load up the truck and couldn't get into it. I had to drive back and they had to open the combination lock there, which should've only been on if I had a different kind of check-in.Maya K.

This was the worst experience with uhaul I have ever had. It's not this particular locations fault, but the company in general. I reserved a 10ft box truck 3 weeks before I needed it and they changed my reservation location/pick up time/and vehicle multiple times. I ended up getting a van that did not fit all of my stuff causing extra work and extra stress. When I returned the vehicle I was charged another $100 bill when I had already paid the $125 original bill. I was quoted $60. Terrible experience that added so much unnecessary stress to my move. The website was hard to use while returning the rental. Instead of making me take a photo on the spot, it should allow me to select from the library. Due to connectivity issues I would have to take photos over and over again. I did not feel safe having to get in and out of the car for this in the nighttime.Karin N.

Waited more than 45 mins to pick up a reserved vehicle. No help with vehicle inspection, Truck was around the corner, didn't even show me which one it was. Graffiti on vehicle, check engine light on, bumper falling off. Return took another 40 mins. Overall awful experience. I had three paid employees waiting for me to arrive that I had to pay extra money to because of how late the rental was. Very disappointed.Sean L.

I have never been treated so poorly and talked down to as I was by the general manager at this location. I will never give this location my business again. And I have used Uhaul's services around 5 times in the past two years. I may never use Uhauls services in general again.Matthew M.

This truck was in very bad condition. I have rented many Uhauls and I know the equipment is usually old, but this truck barely runs. 1. Check engine light was on and engine ran very rough - was worried I was going to be stranded. 2. The key kept locking up, on a few occasions it took me several minutes wiggling the steering wheel and turning key to get it to turnover. I even called customer service once, but got it to start before the call eneded. 3. Windshiled appeared to have been replaced, still had the blue tape on it - major dent in the roof. Huge dents and scrapes all over the vehicle - mostly marked with stickers - but the photos I had to approve at check out looked like a new truck. I added the insurance back on, because I did not want to get charged for the extensive damage. 4. steering wheel was heavily deteriorated, disgusting, steering column was loose. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would have gone back and asked for a different truck - probably should have. But please, for other people's sake, take this truck out of the rotation - it is awful.JEFFREY M.

my personal vehicle had issues towing - when asked if I could revise contract from local round trip to one way drop off the cost was $1000 +. This is excessive and unfair on an incontrollable issue.Christopher O.

Made a reservation for a van and when I got there they had no vans, no pick up trucks and only one box truck. When I checked out the truck instead, they made a second, new reservation for two days instead of one day. So after returning the truck the same day I picked it up, I was getting phone calls asking where their truck was and had to straighten it out. A messy experience, similar to ones I've had in the past with UHaulbenjamin bishop B.
