Staff was friendly. Fast and easy pick up and drop off. The tank on our 15 foot truck was at 1/4, and though we didn't need to drive far, we got a low fuel alert as we were headed back towards the drop off location. I would have preferred to receive a truck with a full tank of gas so we were not worried about reaching the gas station before dropping off the truck.Melanie L.

Get a whole new staff. The most ridiculously bad workers I've seen in my life. Me and my gf laughed all the way home at how memorably terrible our experience was they literally didn't even know how to rent us the equipment and when we finally did the guys treated hooking up a like 200lb trailer as if it was a rocket science. Complete lack of common sense. After I returned the trailer they attempted to double charge my card. I let this go so I could leave the location asap. I actually feel bad for the workers and for whoever is in charge of managing this location. I don't write this with anger or frustration simply to inform whoever sees this that as one business owner to another you need to fire your whole staff and rebuild this locations reputation.Samuel A.

The process to pick up the truck was not functioning. I was given a different truck than on the contract, leading to confusion on their end, including an inappropriate charge of $91 at drop off despite returning the truck with more fuel than at pick up. Unfortunate.Alex D.

CORPORATE UHAUL Have a security guard posted every night to stop the vandalism at your Broadway office. Your employees need to feel safe. The cost of paying a security guard instead of the amount of property loss will make the difference. The employees do a great job. But they cannot control what happens after hours with the Homeless.Richard A.

The new general manager is very friendly and helpful. The only way you could help him is to provide gas cap locks for the trucks so that vandals don't keep stealing the gas from trucks.Gwynnae B.

I'm giving high reviews for this location based solely on my previous rental experience which was with the evening shift. I will not use them for daytime pick-up. The reasons being, the check-in was not at all seamless and caused me to be late for the movers I had scheduled. They not only didn't get the rental cargo van for me (I had to find it on my own), but they also made me pick up the equipment I'd ordered AND put it in the van myself, with which I had great difficulty. I am a small woman and 67 yrs of age. The two women that I dealt with previously, had the supplies in the van AND drove it up to the door for me, ready to go. What a difference in service depending on which agents are on duty! I would recommend this facility but just go in the evening if possible.Anne F.

I gave the ladies an extra thank you because my truck was new, absolutely clean, and they made the process super easy! With only a few workers on site, I was especially impressed with their customer service considering the neighborhood safety, & having to work under the stress of not knowing whether the vans would have their gas siphoned by the morning. The process of renting the truck was a new and strange one. I had to provide a reference which is my wife and the rep called her in front of me and asked if she approved of me renting the truck. This process is senseless. We bought a house and are moving. What else would my wife say? If the objective is security, there are much better and more effective ways (for UHaul) to accomplish this such as soft credit inquiries, etc.Ahjamu U.

I reserved a 20' truck online. When I arrive there isn't one available. The DM put ME on the phone with the prior customer that didn't return the truck. Talk about awkward. They give me a 15' truck and promised a $50 discount (I didn't get it) and the guy that checked me In didn't even check the mileage, he charged me for 30 miles and I didn't even go that far. I have been going there for years, all the staff goes above and beyond to help. Recently, the homeless have been breaking into their trucks, making it hard on them. I would Like to see Corporate UHAL, hire security for their employee's safety.Richard A.

Apparently your employee Keanda Davis @ 2830 Broadway in Sacramento isn't qualified enough to read a fuel gauge. This is part of the declining experience with Uhaul. I had to spend an hour on the phone getting fuel charges reversed because Keanda can't properly do his/her job. Thank goodness based on past dealings with Uhaul I took photos. Otherwise I would have stuck paying your extortionist rate for 3 gallons of gas @ $65.25. Or maybe it's Uhauls policy to fraudulently charge the customer in hopes they won't recognize your error and just pay the extra charges. Either way, your employees and service leave much to be improved. Seems completely unsafe and unprofessional that your employees have to fill your vehicles with gas cans when customers pick up rental trucks. I don't see Hertz, Avis, Enterprise rentals doing things that archaic.FRANK C.

Make sure the trucks are ready to go full of fuel and not have gas leaks and not get blamed for taking out a truck and then happen to bring it back because a faulty fuel lines and they get blamed for it because I didn't take out the insurance the second truck they gave me soon as I got going I had problems with it all the way with the check engine light coming on because of the gas cap and it was on there tightly very poor management skills at that location very disappointed and probably will never use U-Haul again because of that situationMark D.

After the return of the UHaul I was asked if I wanted a hard copy receipt or an email receipt, I chose an email receipt, I did not receive my email receipt. I will most certainly recommend this location, the staff were very efficient and professional. But the follow through with the email receipt was not satisfactory.Ruben O.

The vehicle was clean inside and was easy to drive, but there were some issues with the outside of the vehicle. The covering over the gas cap was missing, which wasn't an issue, but someone could have easily stolen. The panel above license plate, right above the bumper was extremely loose and I am surprised it stayed on during the trip.Jeff M.

When someone makes a reservation, and they choose a location and pick an early time, don't change the location and the time the DAY BEFORE!! This was such an inconvenience, I scheduled for a 7am pick up because we were leaving that day. Then get a text the day before saying that I can pick up at 2pm the next day. You should not have the option to set up a pick up if you can't make it happen. Thank goodness we were able to get the truck at 1030, but that was after several phone calls.Ashley L.

The location was convenient, but the truck had a combination lock on it when it was supposed to have a key lock on it, which I only realized once I was home and ready to load up the truck and couldn't get into it. I had to drive back and they had to open the combination lock there, which should've only been on if I had a different kind of check-in.Maya K.

This was the worst experience with uhaul I have ever had. It's not this particular locations fault, but the company in general. I reserved a 10ft box truck 3 weeks before I needed it and they changed my reservation location/pick up time/and vehicle multiple times. I ended up getting a van that did not fit all of my stuff causing extra work and extra stress. When I returned the vehicle I was charged another $100 bill when I had already paid the $125 original bill. I was quoted $60. Terrible experience that added so much unnecessary stress to my move.
