I didn't notice the greasey dog-nose smears on one window and all the hair in the truck when I picked it up in a shaded area where it was hard to see. The obvious dog hair and dog smears were visible in the when I drove into a sunny area

The manager was rude. Worst customer experience ever. His frustration with the lack of help shouldn't have been passed on to me. He tried repeatedly to over charge me because I reserved for 4 days but only needed 3. "No one does that" he said. And as I left he fired one last parting insult as not to not to return to "his uhaul". I wont.

I was charged for an extra day of use of the truck of $100 when I was told I was only going to be charged $20 for returning it after hours. I said something about it to the men at Uhaul and they said they would call me back but never did and I want to dispute it.

This was a terrible experience. Not only did I get sent to a non-existent location to return my uhaul (which took time, energy, and gas money) but then they charged a significant amount for being slightly under on gas.

I went to the original drop off location, and there was nothing there. Just an dark, empty strip mall next to liquor store. I called and got a new drop off location. At that location, there was a UHaul sign, but someone came out of the convenience store and said that the UHaul location had closed. So I had to call again, and was finally sent to a dropoff location that actually existed. I spent an hour driving around and talking on the phone to customer service reps while my wife followed me with a screaming baby in the car. The extra driving put me over the mileage limit so I got an additional charge on my credit card. This particular dropoff location was fine, but the overall UHaul experience was terrible.

Everything was fine except for your customer service girl who did not greet us or make us feel welcome, but, instead, acted like we were a complete nuisance the entire time we were there when we picked up the truck and brought it back. I definitely wouldn't have her working at my counter with customers.

Might want to consider extra staff on Saturday mornings, the location was pretty busy and the guys looked pretty stressed. Other than that, everything was good.

Well when you make a reservation, get there earlier so that you get the truck that you are checking into. As I was processing, mine was rented and had to start over. So get there on time or earlier.

Have more than one person working on a Saturday so when it gets busy customers don't have to stand around waiting in the lobby with no employees in the store I don't think that's a very bad idea if a dishonest person were to come in they could clean the cash drawer out and take off!

"newest trucks in fleet" the sign read in your store... The truck had 171,000 miles. I think our definition of "newest" might be a bit subjective. The top shelf in the back of the deck was saturated in an oily grime. I found this out my placing items on it only to ruin the fabrics with the oil that was left in the truck, so that was pretty disappointing as I thought it'd be clean as advertised. The truck wasn't at all where the mobile app said it would be and I ended up having to go in to finish the contract (wasn't ready) and the agent got the truck from the other side of the building. Advertised the app being fast and convenient. Sure wasn't. Lastly, you should really get in contact with Hollywood as this truck's brakes would make a terrific soundtrack to a thrasher/thriller/horror flick. (that means the brakes or horrendously loud).

My location was changed on both ends and I ended up getting charged for excess mileage based on having to go out of my own way to pick up and drop off the truck , as well as having to take a necessary detour due to construction. The mileage wasn't sufficient for the trip and communication was poor on the COMPANY'S part, not on any individual dealer.

I have rented a variety of trailers from this location and they have an excellent selection of well maintained equipment and the check-out and check-in process is quick and easy. I highly recommend this location !!

I had a lot of issues renting the truck with 24/7. The truck wouldn’t appear in my account so I could get the key. License and information wouldn’t load. Called customer service and they didn’t help. Finally, Milton who was still there after it was closed was super nice with us and helped us through the problem after trying for an hour. He was an angel in getting us the rental. I wished he would have been there when we came back because we spent 40 mins trying to return it since I “had no rentals” in my account. I had to re download the app and log in with the contract number instead of my account. Uploading the pictures took too long and finally the day after I got over charged. Fuel was misunderstood by a lot. I had to call to fix it.

Windshield had bug splatters all over it when I picked it up. The gas gauge read, just under 7/8 and paperwork said 7/8. I returned it exactly the same and the lady said there was an $8 fuel charge. She told me I signed for 7/8 so it needs to be there or higher. Just under isn't enough. I guess it's enough to rent but not return. She said her GM rented it to me so nothing she could do. I put in $2 of gas to avoid the $8. I won't ever rent here again. I've rented cars for work many times and never had such an issue.

The wires fell while I was driving the lady that hook it up said it will be fine and I had no light she kept say I blew a fuse in my vehicle and I new did it was the wires for my light that was duck taped and she didnt want to help me

Same as always. Use uhaul a lot. Also use Penske. Equipment is younger at Penske. It’s maintained at uhaul, you can tell it’s been used...a lot...

I picked up the truck with a 1/4 tank of gas. I returned it with needle just touching the bottom of the 1/4 tank mark. The dealer was going to charge me a $30 refueling fee. I had to take the truck to a gas station to put in a couple of dollars of gas to satisfy this person. I had to deal with this even though I had to go 20 miles out of my way to pick up the truck and go 15 miles out of my way to drop it off. I am not a happy camper.

The experience with uhaul corporate and uhaul of Michigan City Indiana was the worst experience I have ever experienced. I booked a truck 24 hours before. Notified everyone what time I would be there and everyone had my contact info. I show up after a 2 hour car ride to get the vehicle and I was told that they didn’t have the booker vehicle available. Not once did anyone call me prior to tell me not to drive 2 hours for absolutely no reason. Then I was told the vehicle I could get is another hour plus away. No one seemed to care or give any effort what so ever to accommodate me or even offer genuine apology for my complete inconvenience. I would recommend absolutely no one to uhaul at all!!!
