This location is usually very good but the back interior of the van was muddy and the cab was dirty and filled with crumbs. I had to ask to have the blankets strewn around the back removed as well as a hand truck that was left in it. It was unclear if this van had been cleaned at all after the prior user which does not fit with the stated COVID protocol at all

UHAUL in general has become a nasty company. Poorly maintained trucks, expect you to do Self-CheckIn and Check-out while they have employees just sitting around getting paid. They actually charge you a fee for after hours drop off if you don't do self check-in. The app is horrible and most times doesn't work. They have lost me as a customer!

My original pickup location was in Norristown at 10:30am. At 10:14am, I received an email letting me know that the pickup location was switched. This was extremely inconvenient, as Norristown was already a half hour away. In all, I drove an hour and 15 minutes out of my way because the communication with UHaul was so horrible. Once I called customer service, the woman on the phone was less than kind and not so willing to give me more information.

Make sure the trucks are serviced so they do not break down. We rent from UHAUL every week. We usually rent a 15' truck. We have been given the same truck, that has broken down 3x.

Fire the two assho;es who are operating the store when Juiian Loughrey is not on duty. I stopped in on Friday and spoke to AH#1 to confirm my 8am truck share pickup on Sunday, A pickup was staged as a first to go out but the keys were never put in the lockbox.Had to wait till they opened at 9. AH2 refused to check in the truck on my return. No other customers when I returned, I incurred more cost getting a new helper on last minute notice. Zero stars - Do not use this location!

We requested a 15 ft truck and on the phone that is what the guy said. He was very nice. When we went to pick it up it was only a 10ft. There was an email sent last Friday night stating it would be a 10ft, but I didn't read the email until the morning. When making a reservation on the phone, it would be nice to know if what you are requesting is available or not.

Had to clean windows. Your mobile check in process is horrific. We picked up our truck at night in the dark so trying to take pictures of license and truck was ridiculous. Need to figure out a better check in process after hours.

The price we were quoted ended up being completely wrong and we paid over doubble what we were quoted which shouldn't have happened because I've done this move before with uHal and know how much I should have paid as well as the doors had problems staying closed and we could not turn off the truck or it would not start again

Had a bad experience with the worker at this location, 7:30 am on Saturday he was only one there. Treated and talked down to me like I was a child , I will never use Uhaul again on account of this person . I called the 800 # to complain and voice my issues.

I did not originally pick Glenside, it was 20 miles away from where I needed it, and without me speaking up I would not have been credited for all of those extra miles. Poor system and very flawed way of limited mileage. I will think twice before using Uhaul again.

The truck we rented was clearly used by someone who smoked and smelled strongly of smoke. It was really gross, but since it was the only 15' truck on the lot, we had to use it. Did I already say that it was gross?

Not charge for an extra day when I was on time and delivered vehicle before closing. Before this issue I had a terrific experience and service was great. This is wrong. We returned the truck and did not use it for an extra day. Uhaul was closed and didn't open u til 9am. Also, I rented a 20 foot truck and you advised a few days prior to service you only had a 15 foot truck. We already paid for our service and will not accept this charge. Please refund us the money and send us another review so not subjective to this experience.

You can have available the correct size truck that I contracted for! I signed up for a 15' truck to be picked up at the Colmar, PA location. When I arrived that size truck was not available. They sent me to the Glenside, PA location, 30minutes away, and a 15' truck was STILL not available! I was given a 10' truck that DID NOT fit all the items I needed to move. No offer of an upgrade to a bigger truck was offered. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied and frustrated by this situation. I now need to make other arrangements to pick up the items that could not be packed in the 10' truck. I chose U-Haul because I trusted you to honor your commitments. I don't think I will use your company for my future moving needs.

I had changed my reservation and still got charged for an extra day. The guy at the front was a total jackass. I was charged for more mileage than I actually used... its 5 miles from the U haul place to my home, 5 miles back. .25 miles from my old house to my new house, and 5 miles to my storage and 5 back. 20.50 miles and I got charged for 52 miles. This location is dishonest and has no good customer service. I tried to explain things to the guy that checked us out but he had his head so far up his own ass that he didn't even listen to me. I told him I spoke to a lady over the phone and before I could tell him anything she said he said "we don't have a lady that works here!" I actually called the Uhaul call center because I couldn't log onto my account and spoke to a lady there. Not sure if he treated me like this because I'm a woman or because I'm black... either way he's a jackoff you should fire him.

HI. We love the Glenside location, but when we went to pick up the truck they sent us to Ogontz Ave. The truck was dirty (cig butts in ashtrays). Also, we are a corporate account now. We never had to go to another location when we were not corporate. I expected better service, not worse, for being a corporate member. Thanks, Marie

I had an issue with the billing total and sent in my question to the store manager but never got a response. Here is my question: Good morning Gregg, I just received the below receipt for my recent rental. Just a quick question... When I stopped in the Uhaul Glenside office Friday 8/28 evening, I discussed with the employees my options to either rent a second day and keep the truck overnight or return then and book a new rental. They told me to keep it overnight because the second days' mileage (my rental estimate was 60 miles) would only be $0.40 per mile, as opposed to $1.49 per mile. So I took their advice. However, on this bill, all of my mileage cost $1.49. Given my mileage between the two days was close to an even split of 60 miles each day, I would guess this discrepancy unexpectedly cost me $60 and is inconsistent with what I was told by the store employees. Please let me know how this can be fixed. Thank you, Nick

Please require all employees who are working in customer service be trained on what it means to work in customer SERVICE! Although it's not enough to complain about, I did interact with one person who seemed quite annoyed by being of service, for having to explain things, etc. It was as if he resented being kind!?

Your reservation system is weak. Slow to work with online, and would not accept download of my online checkin. The truck promised was not available when I showed up for it. Another accommodation was made, but what was the point of a reservation??

Julian specifically was very rude and short. He berated an employee as soon as I arrived in front of everyone. He went over everyones chargers in front of everyone in the lobby. He called out my first and last name and my total in front of everyone. Inside the office he did not engage in social distancing. Julian's service was piss poor!

Horrible... I had a reservations made. Went to pick up uhaul truck they informed me they didn't have anything and my reservations were switched to another branch. Went to the other branch they said they didn't have anything. It was a total waste of day and cost me the help I had and needed. Very horrible experience

The only thing I'm not happy with , is that every time I'm reserved the trailer from a location close to me house, they always change the pick up location , like last week they make me pick up the trailer 35 minutes away from my house, and they always let me know where I have to pick up the trailer a day before I going to needed so I can't change the my schedule, that's the only thing I'm not happy with
