It was very concerning to see the employees using what looks like personal phones to â€œscanâ€ my driver's license. I saw what looked like it could be a Uhaul app, but . There should be something safer for my identity protection!!Roisin H.

Said they didn't have my reservation. Then said my license is expired (it expires in 3 years). Then they never gave me the furniture dolly that I paid for. When I returned the truck I told them they never gave it to me. Someone who I had never seen in my life said they gave it to me, false. Then when asking for a refund they said they took it off the bill but they very clearly didn't. It literally was part of what added up to the final price but she couldn't seem to understand that. No improvement needed. I give particular credit to Marlo, the service rep at check-in at the Glenside facility. Marlo is extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating, and she made me feel like a valued customer. She really treats the client as a person, and not just a transaction. I booked a 26' truck and car tower in advanced. 2 days before my reservation I was told there were no 26' foot trucks available for one way travel. After calling Uhaul (not this location) , I was down graded to 20' truck and a trailer and had to get another person to drive one of our cars up to vermont. This is absolutely ridiculous. 2 days before is not enough time to plan ahead for this. We were lucky to manage it. The owner of this location was very helpful but had to deal with issues on the computer side from the way this reservation was handled. I waited a good 45 min. to be able to retrieve my trailer after I got to the counter. The owner of this location was very friendly and was able to call the appropriate people to fix an issue that wasn't her fault.Shayne W.

The staff at this location represented Uhaul in a manner that I would hope anyone who works for me would represent my company. Product is important but without great customer service a company is nothing. The customer service at this location was AMAZING.Derek H.

I am extremely disappointed with U-haul. My pickup location was moved from 5 min away to over an hour away . This put an extra 100 miles on my car and more mileage in the U-haul. It added an extra 2 hours to a four hour trip!!!!!!. This is unacceptable. The people at the location were professional and easy to work withKristen R.

The pick-up process was slow, taking 10-15 minutes to get my vehicle even though I had completed everything online. While return was quick, essentially dropping off the keys, I later found that I was charged an additional $80 for fuel and fuel service (even though I left the fuel exactly at what I had received). When I called to inquire, I was put on hold for a manager for over 25 min with no one picking up. I then did this a second time, waiting over 20 min with no pick-up. When I called the third time, it seemed I was routed to a call center. I waited 30 min for an agent to call me back (which took 2 attempts as the first call back didn't recognize me pressing 1 to speak with an agent). When I finally spoke to agent, explaining the situation, she asked if I had proof (e.g., a photo of the gauge), to which I responded no (didn't know as a customer I needed to do this). I then explained that the vehicle had only gone 14 miles (this was on my invoice) and that it wasn't possible for me to use almost a quarter of a tank of fuel. The agent said that I could have left the truck running, to which I responded that this wasn't the case. Still not willing to believe me, the agent then proceeded to check what the truck's fuel was when it was used by the next customer and found that it was exactly what I left it at. She promised a refund and texted me a reference ID (still waiting to see if this comes through). I'm not a frequent truck renter, but I will probably not use U-Haul and definitely not this location again. Moving is hard enough without the unnecessary hassle of a poor customer experience at almost every interaction.Richard R.

The after-hours drop-off was a disaster. The customer svc number had a wait time of an hour. The online return kept giving an error message. Just a horrible experiencejeffrey D.

I was under the impression that I was able to get into the truck with just my phone. It was not made clear that I would have to wait in line at 9am to get a truck I already reserved. My moving day schedule was pushed back by 45 mins because of this. I didn't get my truck till much later after my 9am reservation. Also I have been charged an extra $6,15 and no one can tell me why.Jennifer P.

When a customer's vehicle's turn signals are clearly working and the trailer's turn signals are NOT, don't say to the customer: "Is there something wrong with your wiring?" Switch the harness extension FIRST before making such a stupid statement. There was nothing wrong with my wiring, it was YOUR harness extension, which was not only easily determined, but easily resolved. "Is there something wrong with your wiring" What if I had replied: "Why don't you check your connections and extensions FIRST, before making such a dumb and un-answerable question. I was QUITE annoyed by this complete lack of tact.Oliver P.

Once again, the phone app on a Samsung Galaxy 9 was unable to upload the photo for the odometer/fuel gauge. I tried for about 15 minutes taking various photos and having the app tell me I need to take a photo. I even made sure that app was granted all permissions for phone/camera/storage, etc. No permissions denied essentially. Then I tried doing it via the web page and that finally worked. We really should not have to jump through such hoops to return the vehicle.TODD S.
