The company was able to moved my reservation up a day due to me having my pickup days mixed up which was greatly appreciated. The process went smooth.I had to be to work by 3pm. I showed up at the uhaul facility around 1:30, I was able to get my reservation changed, get a truck, pick up and drop off my equipment and bring the truck back by 2:20pm. 5 min check in and I was out the door: I am very satisfied

I didn't have any issues at all. For the most part,it was a quick transaction. I got the 20 ft truck and total cost including adding insurance was 70 dollars. Not bad at all.

I've rented U-Haul many of times. However, the Pulaski hwy Golden ring location have the most rudest unprofessional staff of any other U-Haul location.

My truck had not been cleaned from cab to cargo area. I mentioned to the counter person. He showed pics from my phone to the mgr on site who said they would take care of the issue. Later that afternoon I received my statement and was charged additional amount for fuel. Which was incorrect I actually brought the vehicle back with more fuel then. When I left. I called the center, was told the mgr would return my call. Never happened. I returned to the center and was told by another counter person that I was charged addition amount “BECAUSE I LEFT THE TRUCK IN AWFUL MESS!” which is absolutely not true. And I even showed the first person on site and the mgr on site! How laughable is it to blame me after I had already pointed all these issues out to the staff!

I called and reserved and gave my credit card information for a trailer stop was said to be available through their computer system on the day of the move when I got there they told me they had granted it to someone else even though I had a reservation And then they got an attitude with me when clearly I was upset obviously, The good old double booking in case someone cancels so either way you still bring in revenue Not even a sorry He told me it happens all the time

Was left on hold for 20 min while I was as traveling to the location. When I arrived there were people outside smoking and no one at the desk. When I approached the desk a young woman asked if she could help me I explained I had been on hold for 20 minutes she appeared not to care no apology.

With mobile check-in the location of the truck wasn't very clear. The cover on the gas tank also wasn't tightened before I rented it and nearly fell off during the trip.

There is not enough parking for customers. Your representative suggested i park my vehicle across the street at the shopping center while i had the rental truck. That was unacceptable!!! I as appalled that she would even suggest that i risk getting my vehicle towed for parking on another business lot. .

Have what I reserved available. It was 2 pickup trucks on the lot. I was told I would have to take something other than what I reserved. I took the van did what I had to do. Returned the truck and the same 2 pickup trucks were still on the lot in the same spots as when I left. So why couldn't I get what I had reserved??

I returned a truck and trailer over an hour late but got charged for all of the rents again because a family needed to use it for the next day. If I returned it before the next day then why am I being charged another $50 after already paying so much before I even left. Btw, the whole rent for $20 is a joke, it will be well past that amount so be careful.

The truck should have never been released to be rented I was stopped by State Police and the lights low beams were not working where they should have been luckily the state policeman let me go or I was only 12 miles from my destination truck had a Miss in it in the engine and I took 160 dollars the dude 300 miles actually 309 now then I'll bring the truck back early by one day they did not even compensate Anythink back to me if this is the way you do business I got to find someone else to rent a truck from

I rented your truck when the fuel tank below half tank and went to refill it then mistakenly full the tank, i bought fuel of $ 69:57 when am supposed to buy $15 fuel only for me to go there for a refund they refused and this is the last money i have because I lose my home that was why i moved my things to storage please i need my money back time is hard people are suffering this is not the time to lose such amount. I NEED My BALANCE or DIFFERENT BACK.

U-Haul has been an important part 0f my life for the past 45 years, it helped me out of my home as young adult. It has helped me move from duty station to duty station as I served my country, more than a dozen times through as many states. It watched me go from single to married to having children. Divorcing and remarrying and having more children. And unfortunately divorcing again. U-Haul has helped me move in and out of various places as my family grew to include 7 kids, with their array of animals of cats, dogs, hamsters, iguanas, ferrets, rabbits, Guiana pigs, bearded dragons, finches' parakeets, among others that blur in my memory. We never had just one of each animal we had multiple at any given time. You haul helped move the zoo on more than one occasion. I have grown to depend and rely on your company…. Until December 26, 2020. I rented a truck from Rochester NY with no issues. I planned on moving to Maryland with my home. It took a day longer than anticipated to return. When I returned the truck then a series of issues began. I received a call early in the morning asking where the truck was and I promised to return it by the end of day and asked how much the extra day costs, the lady told me 40 and I could return it to any U-Haul. When I returned the truck at 5;30 there was a line about 7 trucks deep. So, I took the truck to fill with gas. We came back and there was no lone and we waited at the return sign, and waited, and waited, and waited. I called and then 5 minutes later Chomps came out. She gets in the cab and told me that haul has very specific places to return trucks, you can't just drop them off anywhere. She and told me I had to turn my truck in NY. We went back and forth about me moving from NY and dropping off the truck in MD she came went back in to check the computer because and to see who was right. She comes back out and snaps pictures and does her little thing and tells me we owe $170 I asked why when the daily rental was only $40, she tells me my milage ran up the bill. I asked her how many miles I used, and she told me 398 and I told her I had 399 miles in contract. She told me she doesn't know why and has to charge me. and goes inside telling the Nails and the other one “she thinks she has 399 miles on truck free and someone, can't guess who, would say that each extra day was only $40. I follow her inside this time and one lady was sitting at a desk and doing whatever, and Nails weas looking at her nail polish job, Chomps goes over to her seat and moves a foil wrapped sandwich out of the way (the place was closing in less than 30 minutes so I found it unprofessional to be eating at your desk) and starts using the computes she asks nails how to do something and neither girl could bring up my contract. They are talking about fines and penalties for being late AS I am reading the actual prices off my contract. Mileage was 399 an extra day was $40 and insurance was prorated to $14 and not $54, they told me I had to pay what figures they came u[p with and I asked them when did an oral contract void a written one. They told me it's in the computer…. Well so was my contract. Somehow, they pressed some more buttons and brought my total down to almost $80 telling me they can't prorate the insurance when it said it could on my contract. I sorry, they are two incompetent employees and the manager never came over to see if she can help. The whole time was just wrong. I should have paid and left not have to argue that my contract was wrong Nails could have stopped looking at her nails long enough to notice I was a customer and Chomps could have refrained from eating when she thought I wasn't looking, neither of them know how to make the system work and the manager just left the two out to hang and not take an opportunity to train them. When I asked for a receipt, they told me I had to pay first I asked to speak with a manager and they told me I would have to wait for a phone call. My experience has me wondering who to use the next time I move to Texas when I buy a home in three months if I have to deal with that level of incompetence I would pick up and move each item on my back before I deal with U-Haul again.

Not wiped down. Floor Boards and dash dirty. (COVID standards)? Found dirty rags behind and under seat. Maybe the vehicles could be ready upon arrival to rent. I'm barely 5ft tall, had to back out of a spot with 2 vehicles on each side of me in a cold truck.

When I rented the truck from app, it said available. I get call 15 minutes later that none are available at that location. I agreed to go to another store 10 miles away. When I get there I asked the clerk can I return to any u-haul location and she said yes. After I finished with truck, I returned to a uhaul I was going to orginal rent from close to work. I dropped off at 5:30pm and clerk said everything was fine, so got a ride home. 2 hours later I received a call saying I couldn't drop there and had to be taken to original location because it was in-state rental. I stated the clerk said I could return there with no problems. He said its a $500 fee to return to wrong location. I was now 10 miles away in bed and no way of getting to locations without Uber at 9PM. If the clerk would have done her job correctly I would have made proper arrangements to get it to right locations and not cost me extra miles and gas and Uber fees.
