At the drop-off I spent over an hour waiting on the manager to get signed off and taking back my deposit. so general service was very poor.

The managers & employees ignored us for an hour, when we arrived asking for help. We were set-up for 24/7 uhaul and they didn't put our reservation in correctly. Our reservation was hard to find and when manager (large, bald guy) finally headed in when we asked for help but he was swearing loudly about us to other employee. Next manager walked past us, said ill help you in a minute & mumbling swear words under breathe. We were treated like our fault. We lost some customers for our new business since over 2hrs late to job because of uhaul. I am so shocked at golden ring uhauls actions.

I've always been satisfied with the trailers I've rented, as well as the staff at the Golden Ring location. I just wish UHaul would sell their 6x12 tandem box trailers. They pull great, track great, and the hydraulic "surge" brake is a marvelous invention. Much better than electric brakes.

The ratchets on the trailer were very difficult to operate. After I applied some lubricant they were OK. This is the 2nd trailer I've rented in recent months with the same issue. It's simple routine maintenance that only takes seconds, but makes a world of difference.

U-Haul trailer was in terrible condition (eg 2/3 hinges completely off from trailer so door barely held on). No other trailers on site and no real effort to try and find us a replacement or find a good solution. It was basically a take it or leave it situation and frankly this equipment was unsafe for a cross country move.

My name and number were put in system wrong. My name was put in as " ! " and number was way off. When I had 24/7 service setup for 8am, Sunday, 6/30/19 and it wasn't entered in system correctly. The workers made us stand outside for over an hour til the store opened to help us knowing had job to be at by 9am. The workers were lazy and rude. Even the head manager was unwilling to work or fix our problem. All he said was call customer service for help. I'm a first time Uhaul customer and I dont want to return...EVER!!!

Very long line, not enough staff, my location didn't have the promised equipment so I had to use this location, which added 16 miles round trip. That's not acceptable when I'm paying by the mile. The truck was brand new, which was nice. Once I finally got help, everyone was nice. Having the truck pulled up and A/C going was nice.

Please educate your entire staff on hooking up your trailers. They also need to learn how to locate them when they rent. Customers having to move trailers to get to the rented ones is a safety issue.

I made a reservation for a cargo van to be picked up at 8:30am on 6/23/19. My reservation was entered for 2pm that day. I requested the cargo due to not having to lift to high. I was given the option for a 10 foot truck. I asked for a ramp. Well did my running around and when it was time for for me to pick up my items. There was not a ramp. I purchased a commercial printer and it was dropped due to uhaul not satisfying my needs. I'm already upset by that. The printer is damaged due to my request not being honored. I get back to the uhaul site, The attendednt clearly did not Mark of the proper reading with that fuel. I explained to the nasty assistant manager that the fuel reading was wrong on the attendednt end. The assistant stated " it was my responsibility to take a picture"???? I became despondent due to my reservation was wrong, damaged commerical printer and now I'm being challenged with the fuel reading. The assistant manager was rude and came accross threatening. I informed the assistant that I will be filing a compliant. She did not care and walked away from me.

Our recent experience with UHaul was highly unprofessional and dangerous. Just a couple miles after driving away from this location, the UHaul trailer attached to our car fell off while we were in the middle of a highway, resulting in the trailer beginning to sway and topple. Since we were driving slowly, we were able to pull off to an island on the highway and temporarily fix the problem without anyone getting hurt. We took the trailer to another U-Haul location who identified that the trailer was put on completely wrong - the hand screw on the hitch had not been tightened at all, the chains were dragging on the ground, and one chain wasn't even attached. After we started driving to our final location, we learned that the brake light cable had been put on improperly too. The cable fell out, which led to difficulty merging lanes during rush hour traffic, and having to wait two hours for roadside assistance to help us. Needless to say, we got to our destination several hours behind schedule. Although no one got hurt this time, this could have led to a much more significant accident that could have led to the loss of life had the trailer and car flipped. Afterwards, we spoke to the manager and learned that the person who had installed the trailer had not been trained, and that she was the only person working because a second guy decided not to show up. When we tried to reach the manager by phone to solve the issue, he was consistently unavailable. I would highly recommend future customers to avoid this location, and for UHaul to investigate how this store is being managed, and why such a potentially dangerous but entirely avoidable situation was allowed to happen.

The truck was in poor condition. The air conditioning was not working and it was very hot and humid. When I returned the vehicle and told the staff that the ac was not working they were dismissive and offered no resolution this is unacceptable.

Truck Maintenance, i.e, Brakes and Alignment. There were also ashes and a cigarette butt left in the truck’s ashtray. It worked out because there was no smell of cigarettes and I saw it when I was checking the truck back in.

You rented a cargo van to me that had a damaged rear bumper, which prevented the left back door from opening. No one informed me of this, and we had to physically force the door open, once we we're able to push down on the damaged bumper. I brought this to the attention of the manager (by personally returning to the uhaul shop the next day). The manager informed me that they were instructed to rent the truck for the remainder of the weekend, even though they were aware of the damaged and the difficulty opening the left rear door. The black bottom panel on the door was even missing, do they had to be aware of the damaged when the van was returned before I rented it. It should have been taken out of service and repaired...not re-rented! And...they never mentioned the damaged bumper to me. I was 45 miles away a picking up furniture that would not fit thru the one working back door. If I had been alone a I would never have been able to force the damaged door open! I didn't pay good money to rent a damaged van, especially when uhaul was aware of the problem. NOT COOL!!!!!!

I came to pick up a truck like I do every week ,i understand the back up with checking in the trucks ,no place to park my vehicle. So I went around to the left to go park to rent the truck and this employee was very rude said i needed to go around the building (which I wasn't aware I could )Erica is her name . I called tracy in traffic and told her I wanted a manager that her employee was rude and being disrespectful. Not good customer service skills on her part and has a bad attitude on top.

Renting a u-haul has gotten too expensive. The $1.29 a mile is excessive - but I'm sure you already know that. As the cost gets closer to what you can pay someone else to do, there is less incentive to rent a truck - just my opinion. Service, however was very good.

This location seems to be relatively busy. But I did not have to wait very long which was nice. I rented a pickup truck for some light moving and a trip to the dump and the truck was clean and very nice. The customer service was exceptional and the vehicle return was very easy because I was met upon return and everything was done in the drop off lane. I will definitely use UHaul and that location should I need a truck in the future.

The only thing you can do to improve your company is to declare bankruptcy and close all your doors and fire all the incompetent employees you have all the way from you customer support, which is a joke, to all the sad and even more incompetent employees at 3 of the locations I had to deal with because every store didnt know your policies and got everything wrong a just royally screwed up.

This location and everyone there was great ! Your corporate office however needs drastic improvement. This was not easy renting from your web-site and even worse when you call the 800 #. No one could give us answers to basic questions and they could not locate a reservation #. This happened more than once. I assure you if not for the help I received last week from the people at U-haul of Golden Ring I would have looked elsewhere to rent.

Danielle was really awesome! Even though she was the only person attending to customers when I picked up the van, she maintained her customer service. She apologized to everyone for the long line, but she was THE ONLY PERSONNEL. She still smiled and was really nice and helpful!

I waited for almost an hour to pick up the truck. There was only 2 people working and the line took forever. There needs to be a quicker process for those that do online pickup to grab their keys and go. My appt was for 9am and I didn’t leave til about 9:50am. Then when my husband dropped off the truck, he had to wait in line again. When I walked inside to pick him up I said ‘What’s going on?’ He said ‘I don’t know, the guy took the key and ran out’. Clearly this location needs more staff and the pickup/drop off process needs to be re-evaluated. It’s terrible.

The employee Patrick was one of the rudest, unhelpful people I have met. I asked him to help with the mobile pickup and he told me he was overbooked and wouldn't have a truck. He didn't explain why, only that he wouldn't have one after I reserved online, he didn't even bother looking at my email. Mind you this was all explained as he took his third cigarette break with a line of ten plus customers. Something should be done at this location. I plan to contact the corporate office and review this interaction on social media today. I will be certainly taking my business to another company to service my rental needs in the future.

Used the phone app for the first time. Took longer to use than to stand in short line at counter. Tried to use it to turn in the vehicle, same thing. An employee approached me and had me returned in about twenty seconds. Immediately uninstalled the app. Never again!
