Drove over 350 miles with a trailer recommended by your staff to discover it was unable to do the job. The trailer traveled empty both ways. It was an honest mistake but it would be good for all to remember that even if the trailer is 6 feet wide the door is not. That said this location has treated me well.Mark D.

The employee acted like he was high and then the U-Haul was running on fumes. We had to top off the tank before even going 5 miles and the brakes had to be pumped in order to work. There were also children's toys left in the U-Haul. When we've come to this location before we've always had a good experience but this time we were incredibly disappointed.Janessa M.

Inform client of anything that may be problems during use such as an unusual placement of gas fueling location on vehicle. And oddities in starting of vehicle. Great staff to deal with. I had to go there twice to make sure I had a rental. I reserved 8 days ahead and was told someone would call me to verify. Had to go back a couple days before the rental to confirm, then received a notice for the location and a call.RONALD J.

Kind of upset at the overall handling of my rental I drove it from U-Haul to Menards past my house on the way back dropped what I picked up at Menards off at my house and went back to U-Haul total of 8 Miles I put $5 in gas in that's more than 2 gallons and you guys are trying to charge me for $10 a gas I am not happymatt H.

The cab smelt like pee (maybe ammonia?). The cab was also sticky and not very clean. Starting with only a 1/4 tank of gas was not ideal either. It's difficult to hit that exact amount on the way back.Michael H.

Can't really recommend as there's only one in town and you won't have a choice. It isn't easy to figure out exactly what to do or how to turn in the vehicle and we had to work that out a bit. The guy was civil and sort of friendly though I suspect he was barely paying attention when we explained that there were issues with the truck.Vernon L.

The two customer service reps I spoke to both argued with me and interrupted me. No one offered me anything, nothing whatsoever, for my trouble. My blowout seemed about as much of a concern to the people I spoke to as a bad turn signal. After the blowout, we were able to limp back to Evanston WY. If we had been immobile, we would've been stranded on the side of the interstate for 7 hours. If the blowout had been on a front tire, I'm probably dead. When we got back to Evanston, to a licensed uhaul dealer called Timberland, an unhelpful young man unhelpfully told us to â€˜call uhaul' which we already had done, and were on hold on the side of the highway for 45 minutes. Finally, after voicing my displeasure through a series of these idiotic surveys, in all of which I plainly stated that I did not want to be contacted, I was contacted by an area manager named Freddy. Wow. That was a pretty shitty rental, uhaul, and it cost me four thousand bucks. Not one person that I dealt with (two telephone customer service reps, an area manager, a disinterested uhaul employee and the guy that drove up from salt lake, not one of them offered me a dime for my trouble. Platitudes and reassurances only. So, I say again as I said vehemently previously: FUCK YOU You greedy assholes should all be ashamed of yourselves. Your negligence risked my fucking life and I couldn't seem to find anyone at uhaul that gave a shit. Fuck. You.Scott M.

I would like to be able to rent a truck with cruise control. I understand that most likely there are bad drivers out there that do not realize that you cannot use cruise in icy conditions so they spoil it for those of us that know how to drive. I would not have used cruise control for the entire trip but once in a while when the "gas-foot" starts to get cramped it would be nice to have cruise in order to flex my foot a bit. I have only good things to say about the Grand Forks store. They are always attentive and know what they are doing. I especially use them for propane refills. I got good help when planning my rental from (John??? not sure if this is his exact name), Aaron, and Calob. It seems that the vehicles are in much better condition than "years ago" when I last rented a U-Haul. Keep up the good work.Scott K.

i have been using this location in grand forks for 3 years now its about the 10th time..always courteious, always nice, decent, never a problem...yesterday, my taxi cab came..i had to pay, so the russian guy who works there says go go its ok we know you are regular customer..we will send it and pay...very decent people and respectful to the customer...thank youclifford B.
