Got a call from one of the representatives threatening to cancel my reservation if i didnt show up in 20 minutes. Without telling me before hand changed my pod reservation to a location 30 minutes away. Told me when i get there theyll have locks. They didnt have locks so i had to go to a cvs around the corner. When i checked dropped the van off, he took 15 minutes to close it our before he was texting on his phone while he was inspecting the van. Also asked me to move the van two more feet to the left so he could continue his text conversations. Unreal experienceANTHONY M.

When i picked up the team was on the ball, when I dropped off, I sat there twenty minutes before i was acknowledged, then i pulled up where i was asked so the guy could remove the trailer and say there for another twenty minutes while he was texting on his phone. I got out twice asking if i could help or if he needed anything from me.. he was like no, waved me off, and said something like; "you just chill in your car lady, i got this" i waited a a little longer then got out removed the trailer and drove away.. It was kind of ridiculous.. I would only pick up/drop off there again if like this time I ended up being rerouted after renting elsewhere on lineJennelle D.

I had made a reservation originally at 620 N Heliotrope Dr. 2 days before I was to pick up a truck, and I was 3rd in line when they opened, so I started the online check-in, which I uploaded a pick of my drivers license. As I got to the rep they looked at my ID and said it was out of state, he showed it to the manager and immediately rejected without any explanation beyond that; not willing to help and was very rude about it. After raising hell with UHaul corporate they said that the manager claimed I had a fake ID; the problem with that is I've rented from them before WITH THE SAME ID and had no issues. The manager lied, and I got redirected to a different to a different UHaul where they took my ID with no issues. Because of the terrible service I had to change the time for the movers to come and cost me 125 $.Matthew F.

It is PATHETIC that you give people a car that is below full and then they have to return it with the same level of fuel. Is it so hard to give the vehicle with a full tank and then have people return it with a full tank, have you ever heard of such a thing or are you retarded?Velde B.
Your scheduler sent me on a wild goose case. I scheduled at Hollywood (near my home), only to be told I had to get the truck in Compton (via a call and a text). After spending 86 $to Uber to Compton, I was told the truck was, in fact, at Hollywood. Another 90 $and 45 min in rush hour traffic, I finally got my truck. There was a promise to credit my account for the first 86 $but that never happened.Kristyn D.

Need to improved the on line reservation. I was disappointed that I book for 15 footer truck one way and end up with 10 footer!!! Reservation was done 3 weeks ago and cannot relocate any available 15 footer two days before checking-in. At least they should have compensate the huddle I have to go thru with smaller truck and haven't offer any discount at all!!!Rey Anthony E.
So many things. First, the fact that you have dollies in the vehicle but charge customers who pull the tabs to use them is trashy. It's a waste of space and that alone would stop me from using this company again. However, there's more! There is no parking available for customers at this location. I was told as I was about to leave that I had to move my car to the street. And the employee who told me that recommended I pay metered parking when there was free parking very close by. It's truly as if the employees do not care about the customers. The one thing I will say that I appreciated is the fact that I could get the truck entirely through an online process, and was able to skip the line when I finally got everything filled out to get the key.Pete K.

I cannot believe how smoothly everything went! From checking in to checking out. Six stars to Marcos Garcia who readied the vehicle for us and checked us out. He was so patient with our questions. Very helpful. Very nice! You're lucky to have such a wonderful employee to represent your company!!Lori N.
The location was fine, but the online after hours check-in system was not working correctly on my iPhone. I had to call customer service and after waiting 15 minutes, the lady was helping me and then she was no longer there on the call. A few minutes later she was back and told me to email pictures and she would process it herself, but then disappeared once more when I asked what pictures she needed. I never heard from her again. I ended up using my friend's android phone and was able to complete the check-in. I was very frustrated by the customer service agent disappearing twice and not helping me resolve my issue.DWIGHT R.

Worst Uhaul experience ever, and I have had dozens. I own a small business restoring vehicles so I routinely rent near where vehicles will be purchased. This location was an absolute disaster. Understaffed and overwhelmed, returns stacking and blocking entire facility. Dangerous situation with pedestrians and vehicles fighting for room to move. A true horror show that should not be allowed to continue.Peter K.

I went through all the steps for a no-contact rental pickup so I would not have to interact with employees or the facility, as I am immunocompromised. I got to the step where I unlock the truck keys and was told I had to wait in line and get the keys in person from the facility. Why even give me the option of no-contact if it's not actually a possibility? I would have gone elsewhere if I knew this would happen. I'm very disappointed.Cydnee D.

The truck has a broken driver door and back door. The rental assistant even made a reference of this when I picked the vehicle up. The handle on the back door was also broken. These problems are borderline safety issues. I called in to try to get some sort of refund. Why would I pay a full price for a partially working vehicle? I've been using Uhauls plenty for years and never had any problems. I was told that theres no refund because all trucks of that size (20 ft, which I've gotten before, no problems) have that problem. So you admit you rent out broken trucks, and refuse to offer any refund when it is a problem? Ok. ONLY bad Uhaul experience I've had, but ultimately one that makes me realize renting elsewhere is just so much easier. Never again. Thanks for the problem, and the lack of resolution.Patrick W.

I paid 1900 dollars and I had to pay extra for someone to help load my car. I had never used a auto transport and I wanted them to help me. I should not have to pay extra. It was only 25$ but it's just the principalTOMMY H.
So first of all of the Asian lady behind the counter she a lil older with very short hair. Was very rude to customer next me. Telling her she don't look like her Driver license because she lost a lot of weight. When she was telling her. The whole store can hear her. The customer stayed very quiet and patient. I did tel her that's very rude. When I came to return my truck they close at 6:30 but the door said 7pm. They did not want to help me at all with checking in my vehicle. The guy behind the counter was annoyed when the site was not letting me check out. Even after I logged in the wifi. Until the gentleman with locks in his hair. Came out and was very helpful and help me. Now let me tell you the way they running that location and that business is giving UHaul a bad name. I rather pay professional movers double amd not deal with the rudeness and the horrible customer service at this location. The only reason I left happy. Was because the black gentleman with the hair locks. Went above amd beyond in five minutes. Then the people you have behind the counter. Trust me you need to check your employees there! Absolutely horrendous experience. I am unsure why as a customer we even make reservations anymore. It means nothing. I showed up and they told me they didn't even have 15ft trucks at this store. I'd have to drive 45 min to get oneâ€¦ completely screwed me the only thing had available was a 10ft. I ended up paying more for a 10ft truck?!? We barely could get my things to fit.
