The workers at that U-Haul works super slow. Like they take their precious time like we have all day to stand there. I know there's mobile check out but we still have to go get the keys. Which I try to cut other customers and get my keys and I was told to get in line.

Everything was good except the person who hooked the trailer never checked to see if the signal lights, brake lights were working. He just hooked the trailer and left. I had to check it myself.

The entire front end of the truck shook violently when I drove over 60pmh on the freeway, as though the entire front end were coming apart. I could hear & feel the brakes grinding like a chainsaw. The radio must have a short as it would randomly turn off, plus the radio could only access 2 FM Radio Stations. The truck has several severe dents & scrapes & the bed was dirty, as though the door had been left open during a wind storm.

The line was ridiculously long, the employees were not wearing masks & unprofessional. And the truck I rented was dirty inside. It had dog or cat hair all over the seats & dirt all over the floor. Very disappointed.

Our experience with the Fresno location was terrible. No one was available to help, they did not load the box on time, we could never get in touch with them. The Houghton Lake location was excellent and our driver, Novella, was helpful and very kind.

First, the treated us like we were stupid when we had a question regarding mileage. I asked her a question and she stated, “Yeah okay so what part didn't you understand?” ALL OF IT! She was rude rude RUDE! The vehicle (26”) needed maintenance. Bumpy ride and slow slow slow to accelerate. Almost sounded like it was going to turn off. Don't go here!

No explanation regarding anything was given. Staff was friendly but did not explain any details. The truck also appeared to be poorly maintained. Horrible suspension made for a very uncomfortable drive.

Having to give three references to pick a van for 4 hrs was boarder line un acceptable. On top of that, I was instructed to capture every single damage on the van before driving off otherwise it would be my responsibility. There were a bunch of little scratches and dings that I was asked to take pictures of with zero X stickers. If they were important damages, why weren't they already marked? I love uhaul and have used it multiple times in the past, not sure I will in future

The attendant told me to return the truck in the city I was going to gave me no address just go to the closest one. When I got there they said that they did not have any of my information I was on hold for over 30 minutes to three different people it was my worst experience ever I will never use U-Haul again!

HORRIBLE SERVICE, NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I RECEIVED SUCH BAD SERVICE FROM A RENTAL COMPANY (UHAUL ONLINE/PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE). I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TRUCKS AVAILABLE WHEN YOU SAY YOU DO!

Answer the phones at each location. Maybe have an app showing what pieces of equipment are available and the location. Being on hold on a phone for 20+ minutes is not cool. Besides that. This experience was the fastest i have ever been in and out of a uhaul location, 30 min. Usually i have to wait 1 hour to 1.5 hours which is rediculous.

The crew was proficient. I had a small concern. I stopped by to drop off the dolly so that I could then unload my truck with the ramp. The attendant wasn't sure that would be possible and it took a considerable amount of time for him to get the approval of the manager to allow me to drop off the dolly on a separate drop off. I had no place to secure the dolly safely at or near my apartment. I felt that it would be safer to drop off at the final destination yard, however the attendant told me that I would still be responsible for it until I brought the truck back. This still makes little sense to me but I agreed to that. When I brought the truck back late in the day, there was no other customers around, but there was only one employee that I saw. He was loading some large wood boxes on his forklift into the building. I assume putting things away since it was late in the day. I watched him for about ten minutes working in front of me. Once he was done loading, he helped me, inspecting the truck and checking me out. That entire process took only about five minutes. I realize the loading of the boxes was probably important, but if this was my business, if I knew there was a customer needing attention, that would be the priority. Loading boxes can always be done after the customer leaves. In Scottsdale on the loading end, I felt that I was valued and that they were grateful for the business and revenue I brought to them. But on the delivery end in Fresno, the message that I received was that I should be grateful to them for whatever service I could get them to give me, which was more than they wanted to give. I evaluate service providers very critically because of my past responsibilities. I used to manage the customer service team for a major food manufacturer, managing over 20 customer service managers. Responsibility for my team included delivery satisfaction of over $4B in sales of products to the largest retailers, including Wal Mart, Kroger, Safeway, etc. I measure service that I receive from those I pay for services by the same standards for which I was held to by the buyers of these large retailers, many of these who had responsibility for buying billions of dollars of products each year. If they ever received a less than 100% effort from any of my managers, they called me quickly and not so nicely. I realize that my purchase from UHaul is not billions of dollars, but I still expect the same standards to apply when I am buying from anyone as were required of my team to my customers. Experience at Fresno was not horrible, but no awards for great service for sure.

-It appears they can use more staff. -The pictures to confirm the online check in as far as the condition of the vehicle did not match. I asked Chris to verify and he did which was very helpful. The vehicle had a broken light and some spray painted graffiti. Again, chris advises to take a video and told me it'd be fine. Overall the online process was easy and fast.
