Take care of your employees, please show them you care. They work hard and provide an important service which is great appreciated.
The seat in the truck didn't adjust properly, so it was difficult to drive. I pointed that out to the person when I returned the truck. Everyone was friendly and helpful there.
We didn't go in, were were greeted by a UHaul associate who the NICEST guy! We were tired and dirty and sore from a 300+ mile move and completed it in a day and the gentleman who helped us made us laugh and got us in and out in merry minutes! So cool!
I think it is really helpful when U-Haul locations have parking lot space for customers to drive in and out, in one direction. Seems to be a less stressful experience. I understand this is not always feasible with limited space

Provide self loading equipment?
Customer Service Representative at inside service desk was impatient and didn't want to take time to explain cost difference. I reserved a van, which I was told was over booked. So I had to take a 10' truck Instead of a van. She was rude and made me feel like I was wrong for asking what the extra costs were. Did not appreciate that kind of treatment. Extremely POOR customer service! Also gas gauge was absolutely wrong and I had to document it so that I wasn't charged!
This location continues to be a great part of the Lawrence community. I appreciate their hard work and effort to service others.
I booked a big U-Haul but I received small 15 ft. I don't understand how they can do it.
Make pickup faster and offer better parking options for personal vehicles
The site was well maintained. Clearly marked for after hours drop off. Prompt response the next morning verifying the drop off.
The truck was wonderful. Actually better than I expected. However, it smelled pretty strongly of smoke.
We will continue to do business at this location. Very friendly employees.
A great experience Your online platform was well designed and easy to use The text and email reminders were great to help me stay focused and prepped and the call the night before was invaluable- I accidentally said pick up at 1 am and your folks caught it and called me and changed to 1pm When I got there I was in and out in minutes and when I returned I was promptly greeted checked out and on my way A great experience and one I will remember and recommend- well done Lawrence Uhaul team!
The gentlemen working at the store when we picked up the truck and dropped it off were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It is great to be able to have excellent customer service especially in this day and age.
Rental haul trailer was in decent shape for a rental. Associates were somewhat helpful at this location.
I have used this particular location a number of times and I'm always pleased with the service I get. The trailer wasn't the one I wanted but nobody in town had the 4' X 8' which would have been a much better size (and price) than the 5' X 10'. Otherwise working with them was great.
Staff were well trained and have good knowledge of the product.
Fast and easy check in
The customer service and equipment were excellent in every way. I was able to discuss and resolve concerns in person and over the phone. The app worked instantly and seemlessly with the store. The equipment was 100% good quality, well maintained, and clean.
It was a very good truck
The Lawrence guys did great! They told me I wouldn't have a ramp which I didn't know because of the shortness of the truck. They did my reservation, check in and check out without flaw. Friendly. Helpful. Impecable work. I pray I never move again, but if I do, it's uhaul.
Had issues selecting the drop-off location, and people in U-Haul were sometimes not wearing their mask. This made me question the cleaning of the truck
I did advance check in, but had to wait over an hour anyway First stood outside in the rain in line. Then had to stand in an overcrowded lobby that wasn't able to social distance, due to the number of people there. Those of us who did early check in were not given any preference over all the customers who just showed up. I've used this location in the past, but this time had a poor experience.
The drop off experience was excellent. Someone was there and dealt with us promptly and professionally. Very good experience.
The self check in process is way too complicated!
We needed a U-Haul for temporary storage for 4 days. We drove it 2 miles down the road, it stayed parked for 4 days and then drove it 2 miles back to return. We drove a total of 4-5 miles and they charged us $20 for it not being filled with gas. $20?! When we didn't even use a gallon of gas in it! Just absurd to be charged this
Outstanding service
As per usual, didn't have the dollies I reserved online, which was frustrating having drove from Detroit MI. But the both gentlemen went above and beyond to find me dollies and even bought one off the shelf to send with me as a rental so I hadn't wasted my trip from out of state. I left very pleased and thankful for the help from both gentlemen and was able to make my deadline.
Again the app didn't work so I was unable to drop the truck off in the evening. Luckily my air flight allowed enough time to wait until the morning . However it it created a extremely stressful situation with getting to airport on time. This made twice your app didn't work and could have caused me missing my flight home. Also you should work on updating technology for bluetooth and backup cameras for safety.
Alex, just like all the other employees are absolutely awesome!! They really make vehicle renting a smooth process.

None of the outdoor folks were wearing masks. I remained masked up to protect them, why do you think they did not mask up to protect me?
No phone connection. Had to go back in person to clear pickup time. Had trailer hitch installed at an earlier time. Never phoned me to when the job was completed....which they said they would do.
Personnel were friendly. Need better signage to know where to return to tent area. A little confusing at night
•Sales associate was extremely helpful on check-in and return. •Mobile 24/7 rental feature was convenient. •Divider in van (between cab and cargo) hindered ability to load longer items. •Cost was almost double what I usually spend for van at Budget.
Make sure the mirrors are easy to adjust and the ramp aligned. Four people had to get it positions in the groves.

The employee (Nathan) was great. He made the process easy and smooth.
It would be great if U-Haul offered more sizes of balls for different hitches - I rented a truck specifically to tow a trailer but it turned out I needed a different ball size that U-Haul didn't carry, which stunk
Wish you guys could check all your Uhaul before renting them out the older one in the 26'' because the one i had there was a low coolent light on when i had it
I returned my truck over full from what it was when I picked it up. I also went 8 miles over contract which came to a total of $3.64. I asked for the $3.64 to be voided, since I filled the gas tank past what it was when I picked it up, but was told that "we can't do that." Disappointed that I fulfilled my part of the contract by making sure that there was enough gas as per the contract, and essentially paid $13.00 extra. Feel like you should fix this and reimburse me.
When a customer prepays for instore products, make sure that info is avalible for the clerk so they don't have to ask the customer the details. Please fix your system to alert the clerk that a customer is using a debit card in the front end of the transaction. that gives the clerk the oppertunity to tell customer you will be billed instead of placing a HOLD on your card. As it is, it only shows on the receipt after the transaction has completed. The customer should be fully aware of all options before deciding how to handle the transaction.
Very nice and helpful staff. It was so quick and easy to drop off the Uhaul trailer.
Not sure why you're charging me an after hours fee. All they told me was to drop it off before 8:00 which I did and then I got charged that extra 20 something bucks. I don't agree with that.
I cannot think of any improvements at this time. Both customer service reps. at pickup and return were friendly and professional. The truck drove smooth on the highway. Overall great experience. I've rented trucks from Uhaul several times over the years and I've always had a great experience. Thank you!
I can only comment on the interactions I had with UHaul of Lawrence during the drop-off and pick-up of my UBox. Customer service was great. Colleen was very communicative, helpful, and efficient.

The U Haul representative was extremely helpful. We didn't realize we needed notify when we were picking up and she went out of her way to ensure we were able to get our UHaul Pod the same day. TYVM
