People and place was great. Truck was a disaster. They moved 2 of the same truck to get to this one so it would be off their lot. Drivers side window leaked air and was loud the entire drive. Windshield wipers were terrible. Gas gauge worked half the time and there is a loud vibration noise in the cab. Not a pleasant trip.

The Check-in system online and on the app sucks! It took me 45 minutes troubleshooting during after hours to try and do the final check-in because the website's verification of Location Services would not work - I finally figured out that it was because my browser I was using is Google Chrome (the most popular browser) as opposed to Safari. I tried it on multiple phones and was the same on all of them. It almost made me late for my check-in time. The developers of the site/system need to correct this ASAP.

Charges are high and the customer has to do all the work. Go around take all the pictures, check in on line or we will charge you 20 $more. Asked if they were going to pull van up for us and was initially told well you can just go get it yourself. They did bring it up, but I had to take all these pictures and submit them. Why didn't they take pictures and send them to me? Why am I doing all work and paying a fortune to you?

Customer service in the store was exemplary. However, customer service from the call center was absolutely terrible. Upon initially making the reservation I had trouble getting the correct pickup time online. I backed out of the page and immediately called the location I was picking up from to make the reservation. Then on the day of pickup I was running late. I called the location to inform them I was running late and was redirected to a call center. The call center representative told me I had two reservations, one was made online. I was never sent any confirmation for the reservation online. I asked the call center attendant for that reservation number and they refused. I asked the call center attendant to cancel the online reservation because I only needed one reservation. They recommended I cancel in the store. I again asked the call center attendant to cancel my second online reservation. They were very impatient. Very rude. Said they would cancel it and then I asked to confirm the reservation I had a number for and confirmation from was still valid. The call center attendant couldn't answer my question at that point. Didn't ask how else they could help. When I arrived on location to pick up the uhaul I was told there was still two reservations and that the location was never informed that I was running late. Thankfully the guys at the location could cancel my extra reservation and got me in the truck I needed.

I give the lawrence location 5 starsl but u haul a 1 star for accepting a rental for topeka ks only to fill the rental 25 miles away at lawrence. The Topeka blvd location was unfriendly and rude when responding to me. u haul confirmation call did not advise that my truck would be 2 miles away so I had moving help waiting 1 1/2 hours while i had to go pick up a truck 25 miles away with a 2nd driver. Lawrence location was polite and immediately offered a 50 $discount for inconvenience Topeka location basiically said not our problem and when visiby upset told me to leave.

U-Haul itself needs to fix it's reservation process. There is no point in having online reservation if their location's available vehicles is not kept up to date on the website. Twice now I've reserved specific vehicles and received calls a few days later saying that type isn't available at any close location. Do not list those as options to reserve if that's not a real possibility.

I just couldn't get online to return my u haul, website kept kicking me out, or just went in circles. Try calling 2 hour waiting, still no help. Other then that everything went fine. Great counter service..

The checking in process to check-in took a bit of time, but it was a busy time of the evening. The checking out process was smooth and easy. Appreciated all the help I received.

It was an older truck, with over 100 000 miles on it. There were issues with the way the truck accelerated, and it was really tough to accelerate unless you pushed the button in the shifting lever. Decent truck overall, though.

Tire sensors on vehicle weren't in working order. Check in process was time consuming especially after filling out information online ahead of time to shorten the process. Workers were somewhat friendly but your software amd computer systems are outdated After renting from this exact location dozens of times over the years I can't believe you dont retain more information to streamline the processes or an individuals experience. I will be using your location as a very last resort but hopefully never again.

This was the cleanest U-Haul truck I've ever rented. My only complaint is the intense smell of cleaning product in the back of the truck. I'm sensitive to scents, and had to leave the truck open all afternoon before I was able to load.

The movers recommended we're a pain. They forgot to schedule us. Blamed us for scheduling, not being clear what they were to do and where to do it. They complained the whole time. Uhaul took care of us. There were some miscommunication issues but there was no blame, just fix it. And they did. We are tired but done packing and headed South. Thank you.

Wecalled to reserve the smallest truck that had a ramp. When my husband picked it up and drove it to my mom's house we found it did not have a ramp - which became a very large problem but what were we to do at that point? Also it was supposed to be large enough for a 1 bedroom apartment. No way. We had to make 2 trips which ended up costing us more. Finally the return process was horrible per my husband. He said he just wanted to park it in front of the UHaul door it was so bad. Poor customer service and I was sad he had to deal with that. Never renting from this UHaul place again.

My issues are not necessarily with the location but the entire rental process. I chose contactless pickup…started out with the truck that I was assigned blocked in by another truck so I had to go inside anyway. I rented an appliance dolly, when I arrived, there were no appliance dollys…have you ever moved a refrigerator without one?????? Had to drive across town to Home Dept to get a dolly. Should have just rented a truck from them as well. Overall, the process wasn't very good and I wish there was some competition in this field, but since there is virtually none, nothing will change with UHaul.

Made reservations and went to location and their was no agent or the vehicle. Drove 48 miles for nothing. Dropped off my rental 2 days early and was charged 20,00 $ for after hour drop off. Are you kidding me???? I am helping you out with the shortage of equipment.
