Im extremely unhappy with this whole transaction. I ran into problems with my truck, which is my fault. I was unable to get done what I needed to get done. Because I had problems with my truck, I had to return it to the location nearest to the house. Not realizing I was going to be charged 110 $for doing so. I feel like thats a shady way to get some more money out of somebody. Especially since it says online you CAN return it to a different location. This 110 dollars has now been taken out of my rent money, and i still have to get my car moved on top of it. This is the type of situation that will make me never use this company again in my life.Cody C.

Holes in ceiling. Rained all weekend. Water poured in ruined our wedding reception items. Had to park the truck on an angle so the water would drain and not fill up like a bath tub. Took pics and video of the steady stream. Guy said sorry man. Yeah this stuff shouldn't happen but it does all the time. I can take 50 bucks off. That's it. Spent 160 in gas because their trucks are apparently geared to run at 3200 rpm on open highway. Got charged 350 in mileage when i tried to rent a covered TRAILER to begin with and was told "none within 100 miles are available but we can price match the cost." Hmm. Well that's suspicious. Also trailers don't get charged mileage. Nobody will take responsibility. They just pass the buck. Insurance claim made. But nobody answers the phone. I was told to "expect the claims department to be severely backed up so give yourself some time." That says it all right there. Will never use uhaul again. Ever. Ever. Ever. And everybody is going to know it and why. Then they can judge for themselves if they want to take that risk. You want to help? Refund all of my money. And pay for the fabric, paper, palm and wooden wedding items that were destroyed or made unusable by water saturation.Anthony D.
This location was well staffed with friendly, knowledgeable people. I drove farther for this location because of inefficiencies at another location.Karen I.
I filled out online a couple of days early to rent a truck. I did this so I wouldn't have a hassle picking up the truck. When I arrived to pick up the truck and tried contactless, it was a very painful experience. I had to provide my work number, a contact number and then another contact number. This is ridiculous. When I fill out the paperwork, this should have all been done in advance. That way, when I go to actually pick up the truck it should be less than 3 minutes total. Instead I spent 45 minutes trying to just get the keys and leave. This is a frustrating process that doesn't need to be this way. I have rental accounts for many major car rental companies and I have never experienced this much pain to rent a car. My driver's license alone is enough information to ascertain my insurance, etc. Also all vehicles should be equipped with GPS which would eliminate this unnecessary need to call my contacts. Finally, with contactless, there is an option to pick up the vehicle at 2am in the morning. That is absolutely not acceptable to be calling people at 2am in the morning. Overall, the location was EXCELLENT. The people there were AMAZING and this painful process has me wanting to never deal with U-Haul again.Isaac C.

Truck has an issue in the box a big whole that didn't allow us to open the ramp and after bring the truck back and discussed with the person they said they know about the issues so why didn't they fix It before giving the truck or even tell us about it. They didn't bother to give us any discount for the delays we had very bad customer service. I haven't had chance to do a google review yet but I will if corporate don't get back with me.BASSAM C.

When I got in the truck, the cab was very muddy and not cleaned from the use of it the day before. The rear of the truck when I opened it had empty water bottles and trash in it as well. They knew the gas gauge showed a 1/4 of a tank, so they knew it was dirty, but didn't bother to tell me.Barry B.

The online check-in process took longer than expected and my previously-uploaded license had to be uploaded a second time. Uhual customer representative Josh allowed someone NOT me Audrea Giles to extend the rental and pay to extend it, unbeknownst to me. When I confronted the person who did not return the truck I was told he and Josh had an agreement and that Josh rented him another truck not in my name but at the same time he allowed the extension and accepted the 120.00. Then on Wednesday Josh finally decided to phone me to ask me to have the truck returned. I was shocked and upset because I was under the impression that the truck was returned. Josh told me I should report it stolen. After no cooperation from the person whom Josh had an agreement with about my rental Not his, I went to the police station to report it stolen and was told that uhaul does that. I then contact Josh at uhal again to tell him, he then informs me that yes he had been in touch with the person the day before and that morning and he would give them until 2:30pm before reporting it stolen. The truck was not returned until 4pm and I was changed with the balance. What kind of customer representative works with someone NOT named on contract? That truck was brought back and not returned instead cash was exchanged for an extension I DID NOT AGREE TO, I am very upset with this customer representative Josh who allowed all this and told me the person named on the contract that he'd done so? I want to file an complaint and I believe I am NOT responsible for those fee pass Monday when Josh allow this person to walk in and extend a truck he was sent to return. You guys have my information, video proving Someone other than me came in to extend the truck, and telephone recording between Josh the person and myself with Josh, this is unfair. And I am requesting uhaul to check in to my complaint, and please get back with me about my concerns. Merciaudrea G.

The 26' truck we rented to move was horrible, first off the brakes were bad I had to push the brake pedal all the way down to the floorboard to even try to slow it down or stop, second the transmission wasn't even shifting properly it was slipping, third the shifter was very hard getting it into any gear..Corey S.

I checked in on my phone. It was not user friendly. I could have been in and out if I had just gone inside. Which I had to do anyway. Drivers license and verification could have been done prior to me having to do it in the parking lot, dodging the sun to read my phone. MerciGregory B.
Nice to have mobile check in, however, it's too cumbersome to be helpful. I would rather go inside and pick up rental in person. Won't use mobile check in again. Some steps were unclear and since I still have to go inside to get the keys (and I had to wait for them to finish with other customers) I see no value in your mobile check in.Ken M.
