Fix the problem with your pictures. The clanging and banging for the four hundred miles I traveled with a 5 by 8 was almost unbearable. Every bump in the road, every acceleration, every bake, the loose-fitting hitch claimed and banged and you never knew if it was coming off. If nothing else but nerve-racking noise was very scary. It made me feel I was unsafe. U-Haul needs to fix how their hitches fit not allowing for all of the play even when the customer has the proper size ball. I needed the trailer for another day I was going to be charged 72,95 $ for an additional day. This did not make sense. So I completed another reservation return the original trailer picked up another trailer for 18,95 $. What an inconvenience. Why would Uhaul trying to scam the customer? I forgot to check my trailer when I dropped it off and I had left all of my moving supplies inside. This should be a standard process for the company to assist your customers and ensuring they do not leave things behind in your trailers. Other than that the service was good.CORRINE W.

The outside man told me to go inside to get a receipt. The person inside who said he was the manager was not very nice. Told E he didn't have the information from the man out side. I ask him to call him in then said here it is. I worked for a company for 37years and if I ever treated a customer like he did they would have fired me. It was like I was putting him out to ask for a receipt. Not a happy customer at the end.GARY B.

My truck was disgusting! In times of covid a company like yours should be more aware of cleaning status of every truck. It was dirty inside the truck and on the drivers side. I have pictures of everything. Additionally it wss a hazard to drive! The driving direction was on a poor condition. I felt unsafe driving on the highway. This is unacceptable for a company like Uhual. The safety of your clients should be a big concern!!!!Daniela D.
Returning the equipment was not customer friendly. Employee prompted us to back up into parking spot. While cars were blocking us because of the entrance making it difficult. There was an equipment return area and they refused to let us return and the designated area. When asking an employee why do we have to place equipment at that spot and not the designated return area he sarcastically said "u haul"XAVIER N.

For everything I was highly satisfied except my following concern which gave me a disappointment feeling and good lesson for the next time renting. The receipt after the money is paid should be verified with the actual, particularly for the gas. In my case, the receipt shows the gas was filled up 7/8th of tank. I didn't check the receipt at the spot. But later on when I was about to fill the gas, it was filled 5/8. Let me give another explanation. In the receipt, the tank capacity is shown as 40 gallons. Now, if I need to fill up 1/8 since the receipt shows 7/8 filled up, the tank should consume 40x1/8 =5 gallons of gas, but I poured 12,55 gallons of gas. So, in my back calculation the tank capacity is 34 gallons, 8/5x12,55= 33,4 gallons. So, highly recommend to check the receipt with the actual gas in the truck.MOHAMMED M.

The first truck assigned had a screw in the driver side inside rear tire. I found it during pre-check. The vehicle was full of dried bugs from previous rental. Doubts and concern of vehicle check and service before releasing to customer. Returned truck in Clearwater after business hours. The haul.com website was of no help and would not accept location, nor further information input. Ending mileage, pictures and other pertinent information could not be entered. Will consider Hertz Penske in the future. Sorry., but the beginning and end of the rental were not very reassuring. The truck ran fine and no problems were encountered.RICARDO S.

Brakes in rental trailer were defective. Braking at highway speed caused yaw forces on tow vehicle, requiring steering correction. Trailer was properly loaded and vehicle well-within tow limits. Probably one of the worst-condition trailers I have rented from you except for one missing part of a tire tread. The cargo van I rented was somewhat clean. The dash was very dusty, the back seat had a used water bottle halfway full and there was some weird wet looking dirt or saw dust on the floor. Overall I would say the van was about 80 % clean with those exceptions noted.RICHARD C.

We reserved a pickup truck and when we arrived, a pickup wasnt available; we had to take a van. The line is always super slow inside, regardless if you're next or fifth, it seems to take forever. Parking is a hassle, so once you find somewhere to park, someone always blocks you in.VICTOR D.
Avoid this location: - Mechanics, cashiers, and the manager are all unhelpful and some are even rude. - They tried to double charge me for an installation. - Wouldn't even call the day before -or even the same day- to cancel the installation appointment; had to get there to be turned back. - There's no way to get in touch with the location unless you get the manager's office number... and even then you have to be lucky for him to be around. - Wasted time and money. - The day of the installation they didn't call to say the car was ready. - They installed a piece damaging the muffler and tried to get out of repairing it by saying the mechanic was already gone, when he wasn't. I found him at the shop and had to ask him directly to fix the mistake. - They didn't install one of the bolts and said the piece didn't require nor came with it, which later I found out is another lie, forcing me to take one of the bolts out and find it in a hardware store and install it. I was assigned a drop off location over 30 miles away from my address. I called and changed to a closer location but I was charged an additional 21 $. We had to return the initial Truck we were given due to a cockroach infestation. When we called and told the location about the issue they were very helpful.
