The app would not work when we returned the truck, nor would the website, so it took us a very long time to return the truck. We had to wait in the cold for customer service to fix the issue so we could return the truck. Very disappointing!

kevin sCody and the whole team was very professional and efficient. No wait time to be checked in. I dropped off my truck and little over an hour my hitch was installed. I didn't know U-Haul installed hitches till my co worker said go to U-Haul and have them install it. I also didn't know the receiver hitch has lifetime warranty. Wow never have to worry if something happens to my receiver hitch. I would refer this U-Haul off Pyrite Way in Rancho Cordova to family and friends as my friend did.

Unfortunately I can't say the same for the sunrise, food and liquor location, which is where I was supposed to return the truck. When I arrived there, the man who I assume was the owner told me he couldn't take the truck and I had to take it to the Pyrites way location. he couldn't have cared less about the inconvenience.

Randall HAmanda made sure that everything was in order and didn't laugh at me because I was surprised that UHaul uses push to start pick up trucks lol! Getting older is a blast and UHaul is still a trusted source for truck rentals!

John FI was very disappointed, when I called to make a reservation on a truck just to pick up a couple pieces of furniture. The guy on the phone said I would need a debt card number to reserve the truck. He didn't explain the process or what to expect when picking up rental in fact, I asked him if I could switch from my debt card to using a gift card. He didn't have an answer and that I would have ask when picking up the rental. I couldn't use my gift because I didn't have $100 on it which is required but, yet I was able to use my debt card to pay $48 to drive it off the lot. Mind you I had to go to the bank to deposit some money into my account. Then go back to pay using my debt card. All of that would have not have happened if the guy making the reservation would've been more explanatory of the process. Then come to find out that not only do you have to fill the gas back up. Then you also, have to pay a 0,79 per miles you drive for the wear and tear of the vehicle. I was not driving out of town/state it was local and just for a few hours. I had to pay $41,06 extra because, I drove 52 miles mind you I had just put $20 of gas in the tank when I dropped it off. I feel if you drive local as long as you fill it up with gas YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY 0,79 PER MILE for wear and tear on the vehicle!! So, as far as I'm concerned they owe me $41.06. For over charging me. It's $19,95 for the truck, $48 to drive it the lot, and $20 to fill it back up with gas that should have been it for the expenses for the little time I had the truck. It was very bad!!

Randall nGas meter on cargo van required driving multiple miles to get the gauge where it needed to be. I ended up adding almost twice as much gas as it needed. My final receipt does not show my adjusted milage. I drove less than expected and was still charged for what I guessed at the beginning.
