Make sure that your UHaul trucks are well maintained. The one I rented leaked antifreeze and overheated. I had to stop 4 times in 60miles to fill up the fluid.

Needed a truck with a ramp, the first truck didn't have one. And the uhaul employee switched it out with one that had a ramp. When I returned the truck the employee was very nice and helpful. Had a great experience overall. Thanks for the great job guys.

Staff was super nice... When picked truck up was dirty. I lots of damage that I think should have been documented better. All because If I didn't take lots of pics it and video when returned it could it been different... They waited an extra to check me in due to the damage that was already on truck.. And charged me a 26.00 cleaning fee

I had to sweep out the truck the key didn't work for the lock. Then I had reserved a truck went to pick it up and was told we have no trucks. Very horrible experience I wasted hours of time when I should have been moving.

Uhaul moving was the worst moving experience I've ever had. They didn't call me to let me know my truck was “cancelled” at 7am on Saturday of my move. I had to wait 2 days to pickup a truck. Horrible customer service and no trustworthiness.

Nothing... your representative, Evan, is a champion of your strategy to provide an excellent customer experience. I mistakenly requested the wrong unit and he fixed it while he was extremely busy. Most importantly, he made me feel like it was no big deal!!!!! Great employee to have in your team!!!!!

I would have liked to give this location more stars because the staff was courteous and friendly. I've had my share of experiences with UHaul trucks over the years, but the truck they rented to me was by far the worst. They told me when I turned it in that they get a lot of old units, but this was downright unsafe. The driver's side mirror didn't adjust for a small driver like me, so I could only see the lane to my left if I moved forward and tilted my head. This meant my eyes had to leave the road ahead of me while I did that. At night, the lights on the dash only lit the hands, not the information they were pointing to, so I couldn't tell whether I was going 55 or 85. I had to use my cell phone flashlight to see the numbers and Fuel Levels. Upon opening, the rear door latch got stuck in the upper reaches of the truck, making it impossible to dislodge and pull the door down to lock without help from someone else. My wife and I almost had to spend the night at the storage facility because we couldn't close that back door to get out of there before they closed the place down.

Need to improve on getting thing straight with the reservations Dept when reserving by phone and getting all confirmed by email. Then it's wrong on the App when I'm actually at the location try to pick up. That mistake cost me approximately three hours of my time and money in getting someone to give me a ride to drop me off at the location that I had to really be . I do hope that someone from your team calls me to get my story to help you improve with this incident and for this not to happen to anyone else. Sincerely Joe B.

We were not properly informed about the height of our hitch. We asked if it was too low and was told “no it looked fine.” It wasn't fine as soon as it was loaded the trailer was so low it drug through the parking lot and we were stuck for 4 1/2 hours waiting for Uhaul roadside to jack up the trailer and then tell us our hitch ball was too low and we had to spend $65 extra of our own money on a new Ball hitch that was raised 8 inches

My reservation was cancelled two times and was charged almost double what I was quoted. I was also told by an employee that they open at 7 AM and could drop the trailer off then, when I came at 8 AM, they did not open until 10 and I had to leave trailer there unattended.

Moving blankets come 6 to a bag. They had the audacity to tell me there were 7 in a bag. There is no lock on the tongue to secure it to the vehicle ball. Please read your information on the web site about locking. There also needs to be a lift mechanism on the tongue to remove the trailer from the ball upon delivery. Took two people to lift it onto the vehicle at pickup. Next time I will specifically ask for such a trailer.

There was a used toothpick in the cup holder witch indicates the truck was not clean what's is the point in sanitation if you don't have the truck disinfected. The last truck we rented just over two weeks ago was even dirtier with trash under the seats chip bags and soda cans.Then I was told since I had to drive to Santa Barbara to pick up the car hauler I would get a half a tank of gas for free which never happened Also cut my hand open on the car hauler had to get stitches Old rusty piece of shit car hauler you guys gave me

The location did their best to ready the equipment it arrived one hour late from the previous renter and the staff failed to notice a metal staple in one of the trailer's tires even after inspecting it. Additionally, a tail lamp was out and they incorrectly diagnosed the issue as being with my car. The lamp was replaced at my suggestion and worked properly. My main issue though is with the very confusing online reservation process and how even after i received a confirmation and went to the local store, I was informed that the closest available unit was 50 miles away. This took three phone calls and nearly 30 min. of being on hold and transferred between three schedulers. At the end of one call, the representative was obligated to ask me if i was interested in storage services. At that point, the question was ridiculous and further demonstrated the inability of a representative to be able to use common sense and discretion to avoid further angering a customer. This is my second such experience with your online reservation tool. In the customer's mind, when they receive a confirmation, it doesn't mean "Confirmed, of by the way...", it means the unit will be at the location the user selects, not 50 miles away.

My experience with U-Haul was good except there is a long wait time to talk with someone on the phone and I couldn't call direct to Ventura location. People U-Haul recommended to load box did a poor packing job and furniture arrived damaged. That was disappointing. Staff in Eugene traffic office were excellent communicators.

First of all, the gentleman who helped me did a fine job. No complaints with him, his name is Eric. Second, the online check in was completely pointless. Didn't save any time, or hop over any steps. To the contrary, it wasted my time at home. It didn't save me any contact with others. I still had to stand in a room with 4 other people, had to touch a keypad and a pen, had to hand my card to the clerk. Had to walk around a van with the clerk. Just as much contact and exposure as if there was no online check in, and as if there is no global pandemic. The online check in should mean that I show up with a vehicle number, I go to that vehicle and the key is in it, and I complete the check in on my phone. Additioanlly, the exterior of my van was filthy. Windshield was so full of bugs and filth I could hardly see out of it. My overall impression of UHaul, from this visit and all visits previous: UHaul does a mediocre job at everything they do, and they know it, and they think they don't have to do better because they're the biggest name in truck rental. And maybe UHaul is right. But a day will come with another option, something that I can't see right now and that UHaul can't see right now, and they will improve the whole experience (in ways that UHaul is currently capable of but not willing to), and they'll put UHaul out of business.

We had to change locations because the other location had a defective 7/24 lock and we couldn't pick it up before open hours. We called Uhaul they sent us to this location. They were extremely helpful and apologized for our inconvenience for having to come to a different location. They even upgraded to a bigger truck for no extra cost because of what happened. I would give them 10 stars if possible! They went above and beyond!!!

Waited in store, 3.5 hours in the store for box to be prepared due to scheduled pick up not be entered correctly. Requested to speak with Store Manager and have not received response. RIDICULOUS!

The manager, Anthony, gives 5-star service. However, this location’s setup is not optimal for long-term storage. If you primarily need moving services, it’s a great choice! Great people.

I did not expect the u-boxes to be so small, I had to leave many possessions behind. Calling u-boxes to verify details was torturous, minimum wait 25 minutes & > to reach a person. People nice tho.
