Prompt efficient hitch installation. Staff were pleasant and professional. Only improvement would be to add a couple chairs in a waiting area. Even a bench in front of the store would be OK since the weather in Ventura is usually nice. I waited in the store and sat on a pile of boxes.

CHRIS BI just wanted to say that the staff was terrific. There were two people there, and they were really working hard, and hustling. They did things to make it easier for me to drive away. It is a tight fit at this location but the staff really makes up for it.

MAHSHID ZCindy went above and beyond and was very helpful in helping us with a weird mistake made on the other end of our rental. It made a huge difference for us and really made the difference between giving up on using haul again and feeling confident in haul. Merci.

Jeremy WWhenever I want to reserve something specific, if it's not available at this location, I adjust my schedule, instead of trying to find a location with what I need. I've had some bad experiences at some U-Haul locations. But not this one.
Christopher RI am highly disappointed in this experience. I have used u-haul on many occasions, mainly the one in Simi Valley, and I have never had an experience like this. This experience was completely unexpected. In a sense, I felt discriminated against, because I'm a female and Native American/Hispanic. The appointment was made in advance and the part wasn't there, so had to reschedule, but wasn't told/called until 1 hr after my initial appointment time. Why wasn't I advised in advance? I had to get an Uber unexpectedly twice, so wasted $50, since I would've initially had a ride. When I rescheduled, my appointment was for 10am and they didn't start on my vehicle until after 4pm and called me that it was ready after 6pm for something that should've taken an hour. I will never use this u-haul location again or recommend this location.

Adam OI have nothing to recommend improving. Our rental experience went very smoothly and we were completely satisfied. Customer service was excellent and our rental rates and fees were handled very fairly. I have rented here previously and will definitely be returning.

BROCK TNeed new vehicle’s. Van felt like it was coming apart, the rubber around the door kept falling off, very hard closing drivers door, and gas pedal is way too sensitive on a large vehicle that big.

JOHN BI fell walking to get the truck on the U.Haul property. It has a lot going on for the small space in other words very crowded. I hit my face on the asphalt my grandson took me home to give my nose and forehead attention. My grandson ran the errand for me.
Marion HTRUCK GAS LIGHT CAME ON AFTER 15 MINUTES. IT WAS ON EMPTY AND THEY SAID IT HAD 1/4 TANK FULL WHEN I LEFT WITH THE TRUCK. I WAS ON THE 101 FREEWAY BTWN VENTURA AND CARPINTERIA. THERES NO GAS STATIONS FOR ABOUT 20. MILES. MADE IT TO A STATION AND PUT $50 GAS IN IT. THEN IT WOULD NOT START. HAD TO WAIT WHILE MOVERS I WAS PAYING HOURLY, WERE WAITING FOR ME BUT TRUCK BROKE DOWN. U-HAUL HAD SERVICE OUT AND GOT IT STARTED BUT ADVISED NOT TO TURN IT OFF. I HAD TO GET ANOTHER TRUCK. WORKERS NEEDED TO BE PAID FOR THEIR TIME WAITING FOR OVER 2 HOURS. I LOST ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY. U-HAUL MIKE MANAGER AT VENTURA ON THOMPSON SAID THEY WOULD ISSUE A FULL REFUND. IT DOESNT SHOW ANY REFUND YET AND ITS BEEN OVER 2 DAYS. I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH APPROPRIATE STATE AGENCY IF NO REFUND.

Please take this into consideration. I have used this U-Haul 3 times and I will continue to use it because of Michael. He is professional and dedicated to his clients.
DANIEL WAccompany the customer to the rental, perform a walk around with the customer to ensure the customer understands how to operate the rental. Make sure that all critical components of the rental function properly. Most of all, how about a little common courtesy and interest in the customer? Customer interaction was indifferent at best and in one case hostile.

Jeremiah BThe man who helped me pick up my truck was great. The woman in the office when I dropped it off was shockingly rude and hostile. I tried to hand her some ID cards a previous customer left in the truck I rented so that she could put it into the lost and found and she started screaming at me for putting my truck keys in the drop box as directed by my U-Haul app for finishing my return. It was bizarre. She needs therapy.

Meredith MWe had made a reservation for the Seward oil location and we went to pick up the truck and they said they did not have my reservation. The woman was very rude. She should know interest in directing us to another location. I would never do business with her as we went over to the Thompson location the gentleman there was so kind and so helpful answered all her questions and got us into a truck very quickly. I have to say that is the best location I have dealt with.

Cara L | Expérience généraleI did not expect the u-boxes to be so small, I had to leave many possessions behind. Calling u-boxes to verify details was torturous, minimum wait 25 minutes & > to reach a person. People nice tho.
