I was happy with the rental staff at the beginning. They helped me rent a van quickly, on a Sunday morning. I was not happy about the gas situation. My paperwork said the van had a full tank. It did not have a full tank. I filled the tank with gas. It also had a loose and broken gas cap door. When I returned the van I explained the gas cover and tank fill up and was treated poorlyMATTHEW H.

The location was great, not knowing if I was actually going to get a truck, when or where made moving much more stressful. I've been a uhaul customer many times, and I don't remember ever having an experience like this. When I called customer service they literally said, you may or may not get a truck. I have used U Haul many times and never did I ever feel ripped off...the pick up rented sad 19,95 $ per day we kept it for 2 days and I was charged 199,00 $ for usage,,we went 200 miles ,,but when renting they said nothing about a mileage limit for a local move...I will never use U Haul again and will look for other rental sites from now on...TIMOTHY O.

I used the app for pick up and drop off and it worked great during pick up but crashed at drop off so I had to go in and have someone help us check out. She was great, super helpful. But it was made clear this is a common problem. If you're going to offer the app service you should ensure it works all the time.Nanette E.

When we arrived trucks were everywhere, parked in every direction on lot was a big cluster. After waiting in line for 30 minutes we were finally served, after getting contract I asked where we park our car and the so called manager said there was no place to park on her lot. So no it was not a good experience, the truck smelled like cigarettes and marijuana, the windshield was filthy . I Will never recommend to use this uhaul site to any family, friends or students.TIMOTHY K.

The day before my reservation I got a call saying my equipment had been stolen so there won't be a 15 foot truck for me to use. Then customer service booked me for a different time, same location and said that there would be a 15 foot available at this new time. I get there and the equipment is not there. I had to downsize to the only truck they had available which was a 10 foot. I had to make multiple trips to move instead of one in a bigger truck. Not to mention, when I picked it up it took 45min for them to actually find a truck so that ate into my rental time.Conrad R.

You should probably make sure all paperwork is completed before you release the customer, then make sure if there is a problem you don't call them 8 hours later threatening them with jail time because of your own mistakes. If this scenario is fine with you, by all means use this U-Haul location, otherwise I implore you to go literally anywhere else.Clairessa P.
This location was horrible. The owner was not helping train the employee and was just very rude and snappy. Not apologizing for the inconvenience but instead trying to test him on his knowledge while dealing with a customer. It took about an hour just to rent a hook up trailer with no apology nothing. I told him I wanted it a day I get home and have 2 hours left. I needed it a whole day so I asked why it had said today and the same worker said sorry and fixed it yet I was charged double than what I was told. Haven't even contacted them. Overall great service, easy checkout and check-in, friendly staff, truck was easy to drive. Three areas that could be improved: I had requested a furniture dolly and a regular dolly on my reservation but neither were available when I arrived to pick up the truck; the blankets I reserved and paid for were not in the truck, I had to go back to the office to remind them and wait about 10 minutes to get them which would not have been a big deal except my moving helpers were already waiting for me; last, the exterior of the truck was dirty.Lucy P.

It actually was the reservation not the employee. I reserved a different location and when I arrived I was told that it had been changed to a different location. This change added on milage expenses. I would like someone to contact me pleaseIsabel B.
I understand it is a busy moving time but it seemed to backfire on the staff when people just returned their trucks via app because the entire parking lot was blocked up. Maybe get more people in during this busy time ! The staff did their best but there just wasn't enough of them.Ryan J.
Truck windshield was really dirty. Tried to user washer fluid and wiper blades, but wiper blades were shot, they made more of a mess. We had to stop at a gas station to clean the windshieldDeborah M.

Cleaning the trucks would be nice! I don't appreciate having to pay so much per mileage and then have to fill the tank! It's a rip off. I know businesses need to make money, but uhaul is a HUGE company and could easily come down on the per mileage fee.ANNETTE V.

I was unable to return vehicle as initially scheduled. I called this location numerous times and never got through to any representative. I was left with sending messages via my online order. I did not know about any conclusions to my requests other than finally receiving a call saying the vehicle was due and if I couldn't deliver I would be charged a fee and additional day rental. This process is completely unacceptable. I WILL NOT RENT OR RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANY FRIENDS, FAMILY, OR ASSOCIATE.LARRY F.
The equipment was not ready when scheduled and reserved. Francisco who works at this location was very helpful to us. He looked for equipment at other locations and called customers scheduled to return the same size trailer we needed to see if they could bring it in early. It all worked out. I have been renting from this location since they opened many years ago. There have been good managers and some not so good mangers. At this time the people that work here are very friendly and very helpful.. They do the best they can when busy and are very fast when not busy. It is very difficult staff this location based on Historical data which in the case of this location as with all locations customer numbers vary from minute to minute. I always go with s patience and always DO MY CHECK IN FROM HOME ON THE COMPUTER.. I will continue use this location busy long wait or not. joeJOE P.

I have been renting from this location for years. It was not uncommon for me to have two or three trailers out for weeks, even months at a time. Since the change in management, this location has plummeted. The amount of miss information I was given and the attitude of the young man that helped me, for a project which should have taken me approximately 18 hours, has turned into almost a 40 hour ordeal. in addition, it cost me approximately 400 $in cash which was needlessly spent. I will never ever go to this location again, this may have ended my relationship with U-Haul entirelyKEVIN C.

There were only two people working, one of whom tried to be helpful but was frantic trying to manage the line of 15 people first thing in the morning. The other woman was very slow and appeared to have no sense of urgency or really care much about her job. She was flat/unenthusiastic and didn't seem concerned about the line out the door. It took us 45 minutes to be helped just because of the under staffing and slow pace, which was really annoying as we did all pre-check in procedures ahead of time, which was supposed to make the process easier and faster. The return of was easy as all we had to do was drop off the keys and do the rest ourselves online. This location needs more staff and folks who can connect with the public and offer a smile to customers. Also neither staff member was wearing a mask when Yolo county is under a legal mask mandate.Michael R.

Get more staff/help for Paula! She was doing a phenomenal job doing her best, but she was basically the only one there/doing anything useful despite a nonstop stream of people needing many things. She provided great customer service nonetheless and did an excellent job prioritizing the right customers according to their need. 10/10!Charles P.
