Help the customer find the truck. Was totally confusing. Didn't offer any kinda help. Ended up using the key in three different trucks to finally find it.

LEROY ROBERTSONI was there first thing in the morning, so I can't really speak for what it might look like when it's busy, but I was quickly checked out and I had the trailer hooked up within ten minutes of getting there. The one issue was once the staff member got the trailer hooked up she said good to go, so I just took off and completely forgot my furniture pads which we should have gotten prior to walking out.

Steve PowersThe truck (van) was clean, but as I was driving, a message came on that the gas cap was not on properly. I stopped and tried several times to get it on correctly, but the message stayed on. Then a message came on to "service security deterrent." Then the "check engine" light came on. This shows me the truck has not been serviced as is necessary to rent it out to customers.

Sharol OHanlonAfter this experience with you all I will never go back the woman had called me and told me that my rental was due back and I asked her for another day and she said she's going to charge my card we got off the phone. The next day less than 12 to 13 hours later there was a woman sent to remove the inside plug of my valve stem on the U-Haul truck to let the air out while stating that the bill was not paid it was horrifyingly embarrassing having in front of my apartment manager. The woman drove off and then in her U-Haul vest and personal car decided to call the police and tell them we popped her tires. Officer was shocked all of us were who acts like this? U-Haul of West Sacramento that's who when I called and try to speak to them about it and they had a hold on $74 + $44 so it didn't make sense that in fact it was so want more money I thought it was paid up apparently they tried to call me never one time did they try to call the person that they had set up to call and he's I didn't answer my husband. I have spoken to lawyers I will be suing this is actually illegal hopefully the employees will suit you should not be in your personal vehicle tracking down U-Hauls and removing the air from the tires it's insane. The woman that I spoke to at the U-haul center on the day of the air leak let's call it was so unbelievably rude that I asked to speak to above her and when she said her manual call me and I'm still waiting almost 24 hours now have yet to speak to the manager I cannot believe they treat people like this

Leslie SmithThe representative charged us for one way without asking our preference. I had reserved same location for drop off but she changed it without telling us of the extra charges. Then when I questioned it she said it was not refundable and called HQ and told them in front of me that I reserved it that way which was not true. She gave us a truck that was stuck behind other vehicles and we couldn't get out. She then switched it for another truck that we couldn't even open the door to because of how close it was to the rest of the vehicles. Then the returning process was a nightmare. The instructions were to go to a location and call a phone number. When I got there and called they said they were not affiliated with Uhaul. I called customer service and they sent me to another location but it was after hours so they told me to drop it off and take pictures for my records and then to call the scheduling team in the morning to make sure they accepted the truck. I didn't feel comfortable doing that so instead I opted to return it in the morning at the new location. Glad I did that because in the morning the new location did not want to take it because they were full. We were so upset and told the manager that we're dropping it off there and they had to take it. She gave us attitude and took the vehicle but said that gas was not where it was supposed to be so she charged us $52 for 8 gallons. We only used 1/8 of a gallon total. They had us driving around searching for the location to drop off and had to return twice. That's unacceptable and a unfair consumer practice that I will be reporting it to the BBB.

sandra ochoadon't send customers to west el camino location to be verbally abused by tom who runs around with a name tag that identifies him as "the owner". what a whack job he is. said he was going to have me (a female) beat up then said he was going to call the cops on me. i waited. no cops showed up. west el camino location also stole my new phone charger, admitted they stole it, and tried to make up for it by giving me $100- worth of boxes...after my move was completed so the gesture was sort of moot at that point, right? also don't send customers to the natomas location. their apathy is epic. they rented me a truck that was missing the catalytic converter. who does that? west sac location (bec of miss haley, manager) is exceptional. of course the bar was rather low due to my less-than-pleasant experiences at the other two sacramento area locations. there ya go. you asked for my opinion and you got the truth.

I was told that my credit card would be charged and to have my son mention to the uhaul employee to charge the "card on file" this didn't happen my son had to use his card to pay for everything. I had to then Zelle him the money to pay the rental fee
