DAYLE TIt all started out as kind of a sh*tshow but that was 100 % on us my husbands turn signal wasn't working. However even though it was not to their fault at all they extended our time just as a courtesy. From pickup to drop off all around good customer service much appreciated when it started hectic for us :)

RUSSELL VI use Uhaul all the time and normal my experience is great, however, this location made me do a lot of verifications before my rental. Normally it's one contact as a back up person this location wanted two. I was given equipment with a worn out license plate which an officer pulled me over to verify my rental. On my way the turn signal stopped working and I had to get another trailer.
BARKAT SI don't know what to improve. Service was superb, and it couldn't have gone smoother. I'll be back!

LUIS MThe return process was chaotic and stressful. The trucks were 6 deep in the return lane and we couldn't fit from the main entrance and the young lady who was running around was rude and,obviously having a rough day. I've never had an experience like this from this location. Hope things turn around......
JERRY HStore seems cluttered and not streamlined. Counters at back of the place and stuff in between each pc seems not open and friendly and no signage to say what to do when returning makes it uncomfortable for customer(me) to be told, after waiting in a somewhat line that I can talk to someone outside. I did what I needed to do and everyone was friendly and stuff, I just see a couple things moved around and people could be happier, including the staff
JUSTIN SWe bought a brand new ball hitch from the show room floor. We gave it to the customer service attendant, who passed it on to a technician to have it ready for hauling the rental trailer and brought it out to us to hitch up the trailer. The ball was not new, a used one had been placed on the hitch mechanism. We paid for a new one, not a used one. That said, I would not recommend to anyone buying products on the showroom floor that will leave your hand to be serviced and returned.

ERIC HThe installation technically was well done but when I left the car the left front parking light didn't work anymore. The hitch plug needed to be tested before giving the car to the customer. Now I need to go back to fix this.

GREGORY PWhen I got there there was a lady at the counter that could have helped us and instead she went and helped a guy that came in for a bag of cans and then proceeded to go help a guy with propane even though I was there first and had reserved a truck and tow dolly.
JOHN HIt was such a hot day and the techs did not have air conditioning in their work area! Despite that, they were fast, efficient, friendly and helpful. I waited in-store for the installation and the in-store staff were knowledgeable and friendly with all clients. Merci.

sonny BCable broke on the back door, luckily after all was said and done. Tall, skinny lot attendant with blonde hair needs an attitude adjustment as well. Watched an interaction between him and his general manager (who is phenomenal by the way) and I felt he needs a lesson in interpersonal communication. In that vain, my wife overheard him call me some rather unsavory and unprofessional things when my foot slipped off the brake pedal and on to the accelerator while still in park. But again, the GM was amazing and took care of me while there during the drop off. I'd recommend this location just because of her. She gets five stars.

Sarah CThe app force me to choose "wait in the store" as opposed to "drop off" for my hitch installation. I actually started over with my hitch purchase in the app to see if it would allow me to choose the drop off version, which it didn't. So, I showed up expecting to wait. The gentleman who checked me in said 1,5-2 hours. It was nearly 4 hours. I get that things happen, but I had lots of other things to do besides waiting at the Uhaul store. Between dealing with the app weirdness and better setting of expectations and communication from the store would have made my experience better. I have rented trailers a few times recently from the Hazel Dell location and received excellent customer service.

KYLE GBetter attendance. I had to seek out a person. They radioed for someone to help. No one came. I had to go back in to have someone else be asked to help me. All I was doing was dropping a trailer off. I think I was there for 20-25 minutes. Most of which was waiting. I know you get busy, especially at end of day. But better acknowledgment of customers would go a long way. Cosmo tried to help. But being the only person at the desk kept him very busy.
ROBERT DThe UHaul at 2460 NE Andresen Rd, Vancouver WA is our preferred pick up location. We moved back to town about 2 years ago, and their customer service was on point. Because of this, we go out of our way to refill propane and rent here. They've always been a great help, even when they are busy. With lines inside, they still manage to answer the phone and be professional.

STACY CAlthough not necessarily within the control of the staff it was disappointing to arrive at my 12pm appointment and be told that my car would not be ready for over 4 hours. This unfortunately resulted in me having to leave my car onsite over night. Additionally when I received my car the lighting for the hitch was routed through my trunk and not attached to the hitch. This is not a feature I am looking to use extensively, but it does give me concern for the usable life of the cables due to it needing to run through two punch points.
Devan BCheck-in did not take long and that was very important for my experience.
DEAN AI wanted to rent a trailer from U-Haul. U-haul employee requested my driver's license to photocopy it. I expressed my protest against them photocopying my license but offered them to record my license number and expiration date. I strongly dislike U-Haul's practice of photocopying my ID. Your employees can inspect my license for being genuine, you may record the license # and expiration date but you MUST NOT photocopy it without the customer's consent.

I ran into a lot of systems issues unfortunately; they couldn't find my reservation despite me having a confirmation email with an assigned unit, the security card stopped working for me and the system wouldn't let them program a new one, there was confusion on their end about which unit my stuff was actually in. I didn't like the policy that I couldn't use a lock of my own choice. I had a really nice lock that uses a key, but was told I had to use one with the letter combo or number combo method. Well, I bought a word/letter lock from uhaul, set it up, took a picture of the word I chose, and made sure I could lock/unlock it both on and off the door several times. 20 days later I show up, put the code in, and the lock bar won't budge more than a millimeter. They ended up having to get an angle grinder to cut the lock off. TL;DR STAFF WAS AMAZING, SYSTEM AND LOCK WERE BAD

Corey S | Expérience générale1. I made my reservation by phone, directly to the facility, and had to call twice, requesting for my confirmation. I never received any confirmation, only to arrive from out-of-state with a full U-Haul trailer and no reservation on file. As a result, I had to pay more for storage which was the only one available, because the one I reserved wasn't available. The situation wasn't handled professionally. 2. Too many times I waited in line 30+ minutes to be helped. Clearly, they do not have enough staff members to help when more than one customer comes in at a time. 3. I heard too many times, that their computer systems were not operating properly. Computer systems or customer service?? The staff is nice, just not well organized or properly trained. Customer service skills needs great attention for improvement. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location.

Maybe analyze your busy times and add some additional people to move the customers through the process more quickly. When they are available, they know what to do and are professional. This location rents storage and trucks and associated items(hand trucks, dollys, moving blankets etc). They also sell tons of moving supplies. This is a busy location.

The key cards often did not work, nor did the alarm system on the unit. The pavement outside the unit was sunken allowing water to pool.

MICHELLE I | Expérience généraleI thought I was locked out of my unit. It would be very helpful to have a sign as to where to check in and check out. I was outside for 10 minutes at night in the dark feeling unsafe around 9pm, because I wasn't properly explained to check in on the right for my unit and then the left to get the door to open. However; the next day an employee helped me learn the routine and gave me a card on top of the access code. The lady before her decided to check another lady out when I came back the next day to simply ask questions about my storage unit and while I was in line, she went to count her on till and expressed "I need to get out of time of here today" this way yesterday on the 3rd. She told me directly she would check out another person before me. When I was simply in-line to ask questions. I am on a time limit as everyone else, but her customer service was rude. I told her I was in line first, and just gave a question. politely another lady helped me learn the proper way to check in and check out in less than 5 minutes. I have booked online and understand they may have thought I was there to book in person, but it is polite to check with the customer in line first, as I usually let someone go before me as a grocery store ect. I explained to the employee who actually cared that I was outside at night with people loitering and I was afraid and just didn't want to be locked out of my unit. I am so thankful for her! She had long dark hair, and I didn't get her name unfortunately but am so thankful to her as I needed to get to work by 6am the next day and she was so understanding.

The uhaul employee demanded I came down to verify nothing was leaking late on a Sunday afternoon. After driving 30 minutes to discover that NOTHING IN MY UNIT was leaking I was rather irritated. I told the employee that I have NOTHING in my unit that could leak. I was told that they looked inside my unit and seen buckets and containers that could possibly have Iquitos in them. I know what I put in my storage unit and I know there was ZERO liquids in my unit. I don't remember exactly how many phone calls I received about my unit leaking and after checking every time I found NOTHING that was leakable in my unit.

I threw away so much out of disgust. I can't recommend storing these kind of belongings here. Only things that can be sanitized very well afterwards.

They were horrible horrible horrible! I am under the impression that when you have a job it's your job to communicate with the customers help the customers And tell them/show them how to Get into there unit not just sit Any ice cream i Especially when the customer is really struggling

David P | Expérience généraleI was rented unit 025. I wasn't told there would be continuous dirt falling from the ceiling crevices all over my belongings. First noticed this about 1/2 year in. Was suggested that I could relocate to another unit, but at my own expense of a rental truck and manpower. So all I took them up on was a plastic cover for my Ikea mattress, which was already soiled by the dirt falling. Also there was one spot on it indicating something wet dripping from the ceiling, onto something else, before landing on the Ikea mattress. When moving everything out, there was evidence of a moisture issue toward the back of the unit, on boxes in that area. And I brought a hand broom in hopes of brushing off all the dirt from the boxes & bins. That proved to be too time-consuming to continue throughout the move, if we wanted to complete it in a timely manner, so as I organize all of it in it's new location, I'll have to wipe down the bins & box tops. Very disappointed.

Told the official UHaul employee who saw the empty, cleaned out storage and said I was all good and I asked if I need to let the office know I'm out and he said no and that he will let them know. Then I get a call that my rent is due ( told her I moved out in the 11th)and on this questionnaire it says I moved out on the 29th!?!?

It was obvious that I was going to need a bigger space. They were able to shift me to a larger space with no problem. Plus once I get settled and have time to go through what is in my storage and eliminating excess, I can downsize with no issues should I decide to do so. Flexibility is real important and having options is also important. Thanks for everything.

I am just not happy on how you make a reservation on line for a unit expecting to get that one when you get there with that price and you get something completely different for more money. The gal that checked me in stated they didn't have that one available. So why did I reserve it in the 1st place ? It was significantly more expensive than the one I reserved. This is the reason I only kept it for a couple months before moving my stuff out. Not happy about that as I did try to email a manager and have yet to receive a response and I moved my stuff in in October 2021. And it is now December 2021.
