I rented a few Trucks from here over the years and there's one thing I really hate. Just like today. You tell me I have a half of tank of fuel and when I do my walk around it barely has a quarter tank of fuel. This is stealing. Your Cheating your customers. Then if the customer doesn't fuel the truck when its returned you charge them for the fuel but you don't go and fill the Truck up. No matter what when ever a customer picks up a truck it should ALWAYS start out with a FULL Tank of fuel. I shouldn't have to fuel up before I even start my day. Your charging the customer for the fuel Take the Dam Truck across the Street and Top off the Tank.JAMES P.

When I returned the truck, the app/website was not working properly so I was charged for two days instead of four hours! When I called to have the issue fixed, I was left on hold for 30 minutes two times and no one ever answered. Terrible experience and very disappointing.BENJAMAN B.

The car transport trailer itself was fine; but the ratchet tie-down mechanisms need replacing; in my opinion. Some rust on them and quite difficult to unlatch. The staff was friendly and professional.TOMMY WAYNARD C.

I was renting a utility trailer and customer service inside was excellent. I was told to go stand outside by the trailers and someone would help me. I stood there a long time waiting to be helped, but never did even though the guys out there looked at me. Thry kept helping other people.. I finally had to jump in and tell the workers that I have been waiting a long time and the guy that helped me seem to have an attitude. Poor customer service outside to pick up trailer. When I checked the trailer back in later that day, it was a different person and he was excellent.JAMIE LEE B.
Give whoever the manager was in that location (it was a woman with tattoos, possibly with blonde hair) a raise right effing now. She knew her stuff, and she helped me modify my trip so it would be quicker and easier for me. This woman should be running the company, let's be real here. Even though I came off as creepy because I'm kinda ugly and kinda autistic, she was still really nice and professional, and her talent is wasted being a mere manager.Colton H.
This very nice lady was unloading the trailer we rented. And my mom said â€œ you should let one of the guys do it.â€ She replied â€œI don't mind and enjoying doing it since I'm the boss.â€ That's when I noticed her shirt that said General Manager. The van was old and not well maintained. The noises made every time I drove were horrible and the bill was estimated at 49,00 $ and ended up being 70,00 $. I will find a different company to go with next time. Even the location in Portland said I paid more than I should have.TIMOTHY H.

I reserved a 26' truck over a week before needing it. When I went to pick it up at my scheduled time, they told me they didn't have it and it would be back 3 hours later. About an hour later, they called and said I wouldn't be able to get that truck, but I could get a 20' truck instead. After trying to figure out how to make that happen, I agreed. When I went at the new time to get the truck I didn't want, they THEN told me that truck wasn't available either, and the best they could do was a 15' truck. An entire day scheduled around moving with a 26' truck and got stuck with a 15' truck. The amount of extra trips and frustration made it the worst moving experience I've ever had.JOSHUA B.

Seemingly understaffed? I checked in online prior to picking up my rental, but it still took almost 45 minutes from arriving to leaving with my rental. There was one person helping people check in even though the line was five or six people deep. Once I got checked in i was assured someone would meet me outside to help hook up the trailer, but no one came, until I hooked it up myself and started to pull out. Seemed like there was just not enough staff to accommodate the amount of costumers.Jacob G.

Drop off after hours did not go well. Link to to check out not functioning. Called to check in and was told I had a 61 minute wait for an associate. Had to leave truck at store because my ride couldn't wait that long. Online check in was rather clunky. Some instructions nor clear. Finally was connected to check out after 145 minutes. From then on it went well. The trucks operation was hampered by erratic down shifting and a clunking sound when turning radius was tight. Truck was clean and performed as expected otherwise.GARY B.

Truck was clean enough however the center console had a lot of crumbs in it. Then the workers weren't sure about whether my truck was running well which was dishearteningâ€¦ moving went fine however when I returned the truck the workers were concerned with a noise it was making upon startupâ€¦ and then randomly became to busy inside to finish the return process so left me outside standing next to the truck all in the return process probably took close to 30 minutes. All workers were nice enough however seemed easily distracted from serving a specific customer. I would suggest just checking out and returning with your mobile device you might have a better experience.KAMERON T.

All went smooth from checkout and the drive to and from the delivery. What did not go well is that when I arrived a few minutes after seven and Uhaul was closed I tried to check in. Checking out was great on line. But not checking backi in. They could not find me ie locator on my phone so I could not proceed in checkout. The guy closing up said I had to contact Uhaul by phone. I did the chat and then returned with a letter of what had happened. How can you make your locator work as it is not fair if it doesn't work to be charged 20 $? I am using an iPhone 6 S.LARRY E.

UHaul was excellent to work with. No trucks were available when I went to rent one out but I was added to a call list to be called if a truck became available in the local area. I received a call within an hour and was able to rent a truck immediately. I only learned about the storage option at that time and that was such a convenience because we needed storage for the itmes that I was renting the truck to pick up. U-Haul is a broken system and takes advantage of customers by not fixing a broken computer system that is down as much as it is up. They charge fees because their computers systems fail thus they feel they are entitled to keep them. So far I have not been very impressed by this company. I made a reservation for a storage unit almost a month in advance. On moving day when I went in to get my unit number they had no reservation on file and then told me that they were fully booked. After some searching they ended up finding me a unit but it was very stressful having a 20ft Uhaul in the parking lot and wondering if I have a unit to store my belongings in. Then a few days after I moved everything in they called because apparently there is a bolt missing from the lock mechanism of my unit so now I have to make time to go back down there so they can repair that. I made an appointment but then received a call to see if it can be done sooner but any time I call the facility I am on hold for a long period of time. My suggestion is once a unit is empty make sure nothing needs to be repaired before moving another tenant in there as to not inconvenience them!!BRITTANY MICHELL P. | Premières impressions

Hugh was very patient and professional. I definitely appreciate his demeanor considering my stressed out and completely exhausted mental state. Moving from state to state is hard work. I was short on sleep and short on patience which isn't normal for me so my capacity to think clearly wasn't real great. Fortunately Hugh was in charge so things went as smoothly as they could have. The only thing worse than having to conduct business in my current condition was hearing that when I walked out of the U-Haul facility to get fresh air, my step son said Missy said, I was a sore thumb. My frustrations were valid and although I expressed them, I don't believe I was abusive or blaming to anyone in the process. Missy would do well learning to keep her personal opinion to herself and focus on customer satisfaction. I've always used U-Haul for moving and have never had a horrible experience; and, even though the truck got a flat tire and my storage wasn't secured online like I had thought, the worst part was hearing I was insulted behind my back but in front of one of my children. With that being mentioned I just want to note, "Thank you for your tolerance Hugh! I can totally see why they leave you in charge" and "F#€k off Missy! I hope I don't run into you during my visits to my storage. Now that you've insulted me in front of my family, I don't want to have to see you again!"Kathryn S. | Premières impressions
