The staff in the morning was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. Hitched up the trailer and get us on our way quickly. The evening staff was not helpful. He stayed in his phone the whole time, didn't even look at me. Made me unhitch the trailer myself while on his phone. Said a total of 6 words to me. Terrible.

The location was easy to locate, easy to enter, and easy to find where we were supposed to park the truck. An assistant came out to help us before we had both gotten out of the vehicle. Again...the u-haul computer system had issues - this time stating that we had come to the incorrect location (we hadn't), and the assistant helped us work that out very quickly.

I was scheduled and confirmed to return the truck to your 2150 W 7th Ave, Eugene, OR 97402 location. Upon arrival I was immediate “accused “ of returning early and they didn't have space for the truck and to take it to 150 Oroyan Street, nearly 20 minutes away 1) this should not have been my problem, UHAUL should have made arrangements to transfer the truck wherever you wanted it. I did as agreed. Not cool to blame the customer for your issues. 2) what is meant by returning early? The rental had a specified maximum number of days and miles. 3) this took 40 minutes out of my day - I'm sure if I returned 40 minutes late there would have charges. All this said, the two locations that actually provided service were professional and friendly.

When I picked up the truck the young man was helpful and courteous the was nice and clean and drove great it didn't get very good gas mileage although i did make sure to fill it back to where it was and when I took the truck back the girl that checked told me she was going to charge me for 2 gallons of gas at 6,25 a gallon and told me I was late getting back I was there waiting for someone to help me the 2 employee had a customer on speaker phone and neither of said anything to me I left the paperwork on the counter and walked out to the truck thinking when they were off the phone someone would come out silly me I was warn out and tired the last thing I needed was a little girl with an attitude and telling me stuff that wasn't right

The back of truck had left over trash and there was a grocery bag that had human feces in it. Very disappointing.

Only thing I noticed was that I thought mileage was quoted as in town 0,5 cents a mile. I was charged $1,09 a mile for my own gas. What was supposed to be 19,95 a day turned into $85 for 24 hours and 30 miles. Kind of ridiculous. I would look elsewhere before coming back to Uhaul just due to the pricing that was shown on the website vs what was actually determined

To be clear, the facility was clean, the facility was secure, The staff is always fairly pleasant to deal with. My biggest complaint is the price of the storage unit went up and up and up, I was running a 5 x 10 x 10 started out at $70 $72 a month and now it's $90 a month that is why I left.

Something has to be done about the rat infestation. Our belongings were covered in feces and urine. We filled a dumpster with our belongings and the rest will take hours upon hours of cleaning to salvage. There were also two dead rats in our belongings and everything smells awful. I've had over half dozen storage units in my life and never had an issue like this. Management has to do something about the design of these storage units. There is no ceiling above the units , it allows rodents to get in and out at there will ruining your belongings. We never would have stored our things here if we knew this is an issue. This is not an acceptable storage facility. We spent thousands on our two units over the course of a year and a half. We thought our belongings were safe. They were not. We are very disappointed.

U Haul on River Road Eugene, by far the best and most clean, well maintained and excellent service of any facility I have experienced. Highly recommended. Service gentleman was most helpful to set me up with a storage unit, and take my one way trailer drop off. Like within minutes I was done. Merci.

I dont know the staff members name that helped me but it was around 945am Monday the 30th. He was wearing a super dope uhaul, maybe gortex? Jacket. Anyway he was extraordinarily helpful. Fast and knowledgeable. Somebody get that man a beer.

As far a self storage place - this was an amazing facility. Clean, well lit, staffed with helpful and nice folks. I have stored stuff in the past for both work and personal and this was on a different level then those places. I can't say that is what drew me in at first though, it was the price .. so on top of all of the good stuff above, the cost was very very fair. Who knew you could have both a good price and a top notch place?

I found an available storage unit on the website, so I went into the facility to take a look at it before I rented it to ensure I could back a trailer up to it. When I went up to the counter, the guy that helped me looked in the computer and said there are no available units. I said I was just online and there is one. He said I can't help you there are none available. I walked outside, I got back on the website and RESERVED the unit that was on there prior to me walking into the building. I walked back up to the counter and said I just reserved a unit. Why tell someone that there are NO units available if there truly are. Word of mouth is better than any form of advertisement, and I assure you, I've let others around me know about my experience and frustration.

I told Evan while I was there and will tell you (whoever you are who is reading this) that he made the process of completing the transactional parts of the process pleasant and easy. His attitude was not like I encounter with so many workers these days, one where the worker communicates what is almost disdain for actually being called upon to do his or her job. He listened when I spoke, engaged me intelligently and patiently and communicated the essentials of the process clearly and with a smile. His performance of his job set the stage PERFECTLY for entering a sparklingly clean, well lighted, secure and easy to navigate storage area. I was glad to note also that this is a fire sprinkler-protected facility. That may not mean a lot to many readers, but for someone who worked in the field of fire and life safety for 40 years it made me feel even better about the prospects for the safe storage of the goods I'll be putting in the room I rented. I highly recommend any persons interested in renting storage space in Eugene at the very least visit this property before putting your stuff anywhere else. A renter known in some parts of the universe as The Bluesterman

A lot of my things were ruined by rat feces and urine. I was really frustrated by this. I've rented storage units before and have never had this problem. It was almost everywhere. I was told that someone had brought one in and it had gotten loose. Unfortunately there's no ceiling so the rats got right into my storage unit.

I don't think it is the storage facilities fault, as there are traps in all the units, but while our stuff was in storage there, it was covered in mouse droppings and a hole was chewed in our couch. I was informed by the facility they they would not cover the damages. I would not recommend storying anything there that you want to keep in good condition.

I looked at a lot of different places before settling on this location to store my sensitive equipment. The fact that I was a customer for nearly four years is a testament to the fact that this storage location is hands-down the best storage facility in the Eugene/Springfield area. To begin with, nearly the entire facility is indoors, both heated and cooled year-round. Few (if any) other storage places offer this important feature to protect your sensitive items from wide swings in temperature. In addition, the location of this storage facility is easy to access and features plenty of parking and a full range of services related to your storage, including moving trucks & trailers, packing supplies, and more. Need I say more? Not only does this storage facility has clean restrooms for customers, it is well-kept and and staffed by a friendly team of hard-working individuals. I simply can't recommend this storage location enough.

Placed reservations for the largest storage unit only to arrive to be told there were none available. Or the 5x5 size either.. I was there with a full truck and now overwhelmed. Told that the system continues to allow reservations even when they are full so not their fault!!!!. Then he suddenly found 2 mediums size. Now I have to pay for 2 containers. Then I needed a 5x5 which his associate found the next day. Amazingly. I am rating for the people but your reservations system sucks! Looks like those car dealers where you come in for the $400 model. Then their all sold and you end up buying the $1200 model as the next lowest price. Total scam.

Terrible! I lost the key to the uhaul truck, I got locked out putting the last piece of furniture in my unit, now I have to go back and look for the key, nobody told me I have have limited access being new. I still have a long drive ahead but now that's postponed by hours....

Only a slight issue with office personnel staffing levels. Those in place are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would like to see more staff in place during crunch times. Other than that slight inconvenience this is a superior facility with solid personnel. Oh yeah, did a very good job on my class III hitch installation-on time and better than local market rates.

Great storage place, safe and secure, temperature controlled, but in the end management was not cooperative because we were going to use PODs for moving cross country. They wanted to place the PODs as far away from the front in the back which would have been inconvenient for loading and if it rained (this is Oregon) damaging. I stated my displeasure and said we spent a lot of money renting 2 units for a year and half to protect our furniture and now they just want throw our furniture out into the parking lot for staging and loading. In the end they put it in the front but as far away as possible. I even offered to cover PODs name with a tarp or they could have parked a truck on each side. Fortunately it did not rain and it worked out other than the extra distance to load. As to the employees they were great, helpful friendly and not bothered by PODs.

I would never get a storage unit from UHUAL again. When I called for truck rental, they sold me storage. Very misleading unit was given to me. I requested a 10 X10 and had a rental at another facility that I cancelled bc I was told it would be the same. We showed up and it was a 10X7,5 with a column in the corner. Very unhappy with the storage experience and would never reserve with UHUAL again.

We used U-Haul storage during the months between the selling of our house and buying our new home, We recommended the facility to friends who also rented a storage unit.

We drove a 26' UHaul truck from IL to OR & arrived at Santa Clara about an hour before closing to do paperwork for our storage units. I pre-registered for the largest unit & a lock online but at the facility they only showed a lock order. Thank God they had 1 unit left to rent to me. Then the polite assistant manager tells us the sliding doors would close in about 45 minutes & we'd have to move the contents of the 26' truck through a door (maybe 36" wide). We unloaded the truck as fast as we could & left the facility at 9 minutes to 10pm. It was absolutely insane! I gave the assistant manager & facility an above average stars but the Uhual website & UHaul corporate rules a below average score. How can they lose an order for a 10x15 unit but keep a $13 lock order? Obviously things are different here because in Chicago we'd have 24 hours access (so we could unload after hours) maybe they should tell customers that important fact when registering on line for their unit. I guess since my order for my unit was lost UHaul didn't know that it was important to tell us there was no 24 hr access & we'd have to unload a 26' truck through a regular 36" walk thru door. On a brighter note...the 26' truck was newer & drove wonderfully...so Thank you!

The fact that you do not prorate move out time to me is thievery. I basically paid $90 for one week of storage. That to me is thievery, especially when you probably immediately rented it to someone else for another $90.

Hand carts were scarce and ash was everywhere, but I realize that there was higher than normal due to wildfire evacuations so neither issue was unexpected. The staff seemed to be stretched thin

Very efficient was able to quickly move stuff into storage without any issues, only thing is there needs to be more room for vehicles unloading, wasn't enough room to back trailer up so we had to load it from the parking lot which wasnt a big deal, just would be better for more room or another place to unload from outside.

I was very upset to find upon arriving that the elevator was out of service. The desk staff did not alert me upon arrival despite my unit being on the second floor. When I asked why I did not recieve an email in advance to warn me of this inconvenience, it was brushed off. We had to haul all of our stuff down the stairs and pay other customers to help us carry heavy things. The manager did reimburse us for this cost, but this whole issue could have been avoided through communication. I would have delayed my move if I had known the elevator had been down for the past 3 days.

We had a great move in and storage experience with this Uhaul, but move out was challenging. We had to come back multiple days with our trailer because the elevator was constantly breaking or broken, so we couldn't get everything out with the 26' truck we originally rented. Most of the staff was super friendly and apologetic. The manager we met at checkin is really nice. But the weekend we were trying to move out, the staff was just grumpy and apathetic.

Absolutely top notch! This is hands down both the best storage facility we have ever used (and we've had quite a few), and the best truck rental setup we have ever seen (huge parking lot with pretty much every possible equipment configuration available). The drive up unit we had reserved was not available, but they made up for it with a little more space in multiple indoor units. Going up the elevator was a little bit of a pain, but not having to pack stuff as tightly have me a much better attitude about it.

Asked the staff in okc if i could bring uhaul back to any local they said yes just had to call nope find out i have to go to a specific uhaul. The unit was clean and secure but a little cramped and dark, corridors are very narrow. I could hardly get my sofa in because there isn't much room in the corridor to maneuver furniture. Excellent for boxes and smaller items.. A space somewhere between a garage and closet would have been perfect, or perhaps an access door in the center, not at the end of the storage unit would have made it easier to get larger or heavier items inside the unit. Staff was very, very helpful and friendly although it seemed like she could have used some backup with the multiple duties required. .

I rented my storage online but it took me a week to move stuff in because life's a little crazy right now. I arrived to find a lock on my unit with a note "come see me in the office". I went to the office. It was empty... waited almost 10 mins for a person to appear. Found out they will lock empty lockers after a period of time because people have put stuff in empty units before. I understand that! But it was just kinda frustrating to think I wouldn't have to spend time working to get keys and then I did. I think either locking them from the start, or including in communications when that happens so the customer knows to expect it, would have been a better experience. Overall the facility was really nice tho and I'm not unhappy.

Callie was amazing and very helpful. I had to move on short notice due to Covid 19 Pandemic and had already rented a unit at another facility when I found out they had misrepresented the size. Single female that had to move an entire house into storage. The unit I was rented was on the second floor, the farthest one away from entrance. Half the time, the hallway light would not go on and I had to use my phone flashlight to see in my unit. Sustained one injury from not being able to see well in unit. Very vary annoying and frustrating walking past all of the available units that would have made my rental and access much easier.

I was really, very impressed by the rep who moved me in. He was alone in the store at the time, but he was doing an excellent job of handling multiple customers. On top of that, he was dealing with some very difficult customers who were attempting to move out. A lot of people wouldn't have been able to handle the load and circumstances he was in, but he handled it all quite gracefully. He was fully professional the whole time. What's more, to me, despite the the former tenants he was dealing with being of less-than-desirable character, he was still perfectly professional, level headed and I would say compassionate towards them. It was pretty obvious their daily lives were probably pretty difficult or uncomfortable. I don't really know how they got into that situation, nevertheless, I know humanizing everyone is the best way to give them hope that they can make their own lives and futures better. I don't know if your rep. was thinking on that level, but he was extraordinarily professional and had such excellent customer service that it was humanely dignifying to all parties involved, or observing. Excellent Work!
