Everything was great. Nice people. Short wait. Truck was just right for the job. Picking up and returning the truck was easy. One small complaint: the front windshield was quite dirty. Wasn't obvious from the outside inspection, but noticeable when I got in. I would use this location again. Merci.

Showed up for my 24/7 pick up and keys were not left. Had to wait until the location opened an hour and half later delaying my move. Windshield was filthy and had no washer fluid. Location itself literally had; nuts, bolts, cigarette butts, and all kinds of trash all over the parking lot. Kind of amazing how much crap was all over the place. I would not be able to work somewhere that operated like this. Every time I go to Uhaul location its the same thing. I will not be going back after this time.

Wish they had better signage. Their WiFi was non existent and the app for self check in was not easy to navigate. I had no idea where I should put the vehicle and waited some time before walking away.

Have the equipment ready and available at the location requested and or have the contract switched. I spent at least an extra 20-30 extra miles in driving my car and the uhaul (14 extra on the uhaul which doubled the cost of my mileage or more)

I was nearing my return time and called to inquire about scheduling and pricing. The agent assured me I'd be fine returning late and wouldn't be charged for a full days rate. Subsequently I was charged a full day and for equipment I did not use. I ended up finishing my move through several trips and vehicles. Had od known I'd been charged I would have used the uhaul to complete my move and not rushed to return a vehicle at 9 PM but charge for a 6:30 pm next day rate.

1. I wish I had been told that I needed to respond to that email within 30 minutes to not be charged the $20 fee. It was a stressful day and I did not check my email until much later. 2. I was also not told to go pick up the hand truck and got all the way home before I realized it was not in the truck. The information as not clear at check-in. 3. When I finished the move, the gas tank appeared to just be a fraction off of the Full mark, which is where it was when I picked up the truck. I told the gas station attendant to fill it thinking it would be just a couple of gallons to get it back on the Full line. But it cost almost $40 dollars which was more than needed to get it to the Full line. 4. I had reserved a furniture dolly and there was not one available, but I understand those are subject to availability.

I had a 10pm pick up time because of the 100 degree weather, we planned to do all the moving during the night to avoid the heat. The app wasn't working well which I mean, that happens, I was not warned that I'd need a bunch of different forms of identity to pick up but again, happens. Then, once I got the truck number we walked around the lot to only find the truck was buried in the lot and was not able to get it or another till 7am, which caused us to move in the time frame we absolutely did not want to do. The guy helping in the morning was great though, we wanted to be angry with him but he was all by himself with about 5 people waiting. Still, horrible experience.

Wrong key was in the lockbox , spent an hour waiting for the store to open . Store was supposed to open at 9 am . Waited til 9:20 am and still no one was there to open The store . I tried the key in several Different vehicles and it ended up fitting a truck bigger than the one I rented . When I retired it I was charged the mileage rate for the larger vehicle. Tried to call uhaul service and there was an hour wait /call back time .

The people working at this location were very helpful and terrific, overall. Your app and website are unusable. 10 of the 15 people in line had online reservations and were unable to get the app or website to work for express check-in. It all created hour-long waits and lots of stress.

Provide enough telephone lines to the location for them to answer the phone. Provide enough staff so they can actually answer the phone rather than being run off their feet by management who wants to crush down all of the costs so badly that the customer is never going to be treated well. None of this is the fault of the people working their guts out to provide a reasonable amount of service for such patent disregard by upper level management. Shame on you, really. The guys at the counter wear all of your customers' wrath while you dipshits reading this vacation in the Hampdens, eating shitty food and waited hand-on-fist by obsequious brown servants who tell you how beautiful and smart you all are. What a sick joke, really.

Let's see, first they booked the same truck for two local moves, then turns out that's the only truck that size and it's going out of town. That was a 20ft truck. They gave me a 15 ft instead. so now my one trip is now two. 4 hours of labor turns into 8. I may have paid less for the truck, but I had to pay people for an extra 4 hours that I shouldn't have had to pay, if I would have had the right truck. This location is always over booked and under staffed. There was an hour wait at least. 20 customers, 1 staff member checking people out. Hire more people U-Haul, understaffing is not a way to keep costs down...

The trailer was checked in wrong, communication was poor, and we ended up getting charged an extra $600 with no explanation as to why. We had to contact the location 5 different times and go to the location twice to figure out the situation and get our money back.

Initially gave me the incorrect truck. During equipment inspection I realized this. While it was initially time consuming to visually inspect two trucks. The first truck had less mileage and less physical damage, so it was frustrating to have the lesser truck when we were going 3000 miles with it. The AC of the truck stopped working on the first day of weeklong trip.

I guess i should of known better from the begining not to rent from uhaul on 73 and sandy blvd portland ore. Why i will tell you why when i got there i rented a 10' truck because i need a ramp to load my furniture by my self. Before i left there i asked if i could park my car right by uhal they said no problem i said are you sure i dont need any thing happening to my car he lookd to see where i was going to park it he said yes im sure it will be perfectually safe there. Before i left they said there was a 1/8 of a tank of gas in the uhaul ...no there wasnt it was on empty no big deal i had to buy gas for it any way. So when i got to my storage there was no ramp thats why i rented it FOR THE RAMP ..because i have to do all of this by myself . Any way i was gonna leave my car there until the next day instes i went to get it early thank god. When i got there some one jacked my car up and took the front wheel and the lug nuts who does that even the lug nuts i had to sit there for hours waiting on some one i know to bring me a tire i bet he went through 12 tires before he found one that would fit. I cant even drive my car until i buy a new wheel and tire because the one that finally fit is actually to big for the car. I ended up having the truk for 4 extra days because i had no one to follow me home from the uhaul and i live in gresham its in se portland. When i finally took it back today knowing i was going to have to walk home darrien the asistant manage i think that was his nane was really rude not only to me but to other customers he got a call from one other worker saying some one wanted boxs he hung up the phone and said i wish people would stop bothering me. He had no compassion he said he didnt care about my tire things happen in the neighbor hood and i have to pay for the extra days i said why is it so much he said taxes fees and you just have to pay it. Uhaul needs to find some better employees and i will and know one i know will ever rent from u haul again

We did the phone pick up and drop off option for our uhaul, thinking it would be easier. Unless you have a strong internet connection/wi-fi connection, it will not work. we kept getting kicked out, and had to have the UHAUL employees at the pick up location help us out. Thankfully they did and it made the process easier. The other issue with the online/phone check out process is the photos provided to verify you got the truck you ordered were hard to see. You can't see ID numbers on them well, or damage to the truck. this could be sketchy if UHAUL claims you did damage to the truck, when you didnt. We also ran into the issue where the photos from the front of the truck, on the app, did not match the ID to the rest of the side photos that were provided.

Customer service was terrible. This is in part because the website for reservations is very cumbersome and it is not easy to make corrections. I called after hours to make corrections, and my reservation was cancelled and the rescheduling was in error. I was also charged for items I did not order. I went in person to correct my reservation, the in person reservation was again in error. The computer system is cumbersome, and if you complain to staff they are rude and condescending. When it was finally time for me to pick up my reservation, the reservation hade again been cancelled and I had to redo yet again. This time I was working with the owner/manager, and he was the rudest and most condescending of all. I attempted to correct the charges for items I did not order but that was not done correctly.I have lived in this neighborhood for 26 years, this is the closest U Haul location to me, and I have done business with this location many times over the years. Never again!

The available storage possesses hazardous access and unstable equipment to load personal items. I would not recommend this type of storage if seen in person. Pricing is high, particularly in relation to the type of building and storage provided. Overall, the staff was quite friendly, but the building, storage, and parking is subpar.

The best thing about this location is its manager, David. He is available at nearly all hours of the day which made my experience much better, and I thank him for that. However, everything else (mostly related to U-Haul at the corporate level) was unprofessional and disorganized. I was told (by a very kind and helpful customer service rep) that I could move into this location after-hours. I spent hours trying to get in, and ultimately ended up having to wait until morning to move in, which caused me to miss a flight and take on the expense. I learned later that move in after 10pm is not possible, which I was assured would not be an issue over the phone previously. Upon move-out, I had scheduled a truck at this location for 8/1, but when I could not find the reservation in my app I called the location. The clerk told me that the reservation was for 7/31 for a "Frank" (my name is Jack) and therefore was cancelled for no-show. I was looking at the confirmation message for 8/1 at noon, which I told the clerk, who responded, "the reservation was for 7/31 and it is cancelled. I don't know what you want me to do about this". Instead of fixing the problem he suggested I figure it out on my own. I ended up getting lucky and finding equipment at another location. I have very little trust with U-Haul now. I know that my money is not safe with U-Haul and I anticipate losing money and time when working with this company. The employees are not equipped to properly solve customer issues. I will not be a returning customer because I think it's bad business to make multiple errors (similar problems have occured the last two times I have used U-Haul in Seattle and Chicago) and tell the customer to figure out what the company did wrong and to fix it themselves on their own hour and dime.

My items were stolen from my container. They lost my key when they changed my lock and I paid rent on a unit were I was unaware my things were missing. The phone representative was rude and argumentative and now years of memories are gone. Thank God the washer and dryer were to big to take.

Staff and facility are great. What was appallingly bad was my experience with your website. I made a reservation online and received email confirmation, but your staff could find nothing about me on the store computers. My account had vanished. Total waste of time and very stressful. I also ended up with a storage unit much more expensive than what I had reserved. I cannot recommend UHaul to anyone because of this.

It was nice having a keycard to access whenever needed and not having to deal with staff during Covid. The facility was temperature and humidity controlled as advertised. The storage unit was secure and easily accessible. Whenever I had to talk to staff, which was only during move in and move out, they were kind and helpful. Only complaint I had is one of my boxes had mouse poop on it when I moved out. I know it isn't easy to control, but that was kinda gross. At least none of them died in there.

This unit was not usable. We rented it without seeing it due to an emergency situation and arrived to see a unit that was a "stack unit" that I do not feel was adequately described on the website. We had to cancel our rental that same day and rent a unit at a different storage facility. Everyone at U-Haul was nice, though.

I could not be happier with my experience at this UHAUL location. Everything explained clearly and they were quite patient with me as I was very tired after arriving from out of state and moving in 90+ degree weather. I was disappointed when my reservation was for a unit that required going up stairs. Zachary was able to seamlessly check the inventory and change my storage space to the ground level. My phone was not working and I could not call a car service after my move and Zachary offered calling a cab. A great customer service experience all around!

worst experience I've ever had with any uhaul. manager was beyond rude from the moment that we arrived. Tried to force us to use an unsafe ladder to access our unit & wouldn't help us change location.

There was a delay in delivery of our U-Box, which was problematic. We so appreciate the assistance of Christine from the main Portland office. She was wonderful in responding to our many questions!

College dorm overflow Rather hard intitially to get info and deal with Staff, much stuff. Space was physically awkward to access as place up hight off floor. Expensive for Sq Ft.
