I didn't want to return it to the same location but I did so I wasn't charged a fee. There was barely a quarter tank of gas. The app was so glitchy that it took a very long time to go through the return process.

The gas gets siphoned out of every truck every night. Put up a tall fence and get some damned dogs or a guard I'm there. Now they want to charge an extra $35 that is refundable if you leave it with 1/4 tank which is about $35. So you're charging your customers for the loss. Nice.

This was the best experience I've had at Uhaul and I've used you guys a lot for all my moves. The guy at the front desk who helped me was super helpful, kind, and effecient. Everytime I went there last week he was working by himself or with one other person cleaning trucks but he was rockin it. Truck was clean, ran okay. The parking lot was full out to the sidewalk when I dropped off the 20' foot truck around 6:30pm so I had to drive around and find a spot but it worked out.

Almost ran out of as just getting to my house 3 miles away, But it didn't start there and the ending solidified this is the worst U-Haul in Oregon, or perhaps, the entire country. Made my reservation 2 weeks ago for a different store. U-Haul changed my reservation to this location 3 hours before pickup. Arrived (10 minutes before my scheduled time) and NO TRUCK. I had literally confirmed the vehicle after THEY changed me to this location and they have no truck. It is 10pm, I have been at a conference all day and they want me to drive an away to get a truck I reserved (they need to look up what that means because apparently they have no clue). So, get it rescheduled for the morning which means I will be late to my own speaking engagement at said conference which is really not good. Juaquin, who apparently is the only shining light at this place, was great, in and out in under 5 minutes. Truck had no gas but at least I now have a truck. Fast forward to this morning. Truck due at 8:30 am. I poull up at 8:15 and a parked uhaul isblocking the front entrance. Not wanting to go over the curb and havethem say I damaged the truck, I drove around to the exit and came in that way. I am greeted by Ms. Sunshine with "Why are you coming in the exit? Don't you see the arrows?" Yes, I do, but the entrance is blocked, To which she actually says "Are you Stupid? Just go over the curb". I bark back that maybe there should be a sign and I have a doctorate so I am pretty sure I am not dumb and she needs to stop talking to me like I am a stupid B*&%H. Her reply "Then stop being a stupid fu*%ing B*&$H" Excuse me? No, you did not. Say bye bye to your job little girl. And, U-Haul, say bye bye to my business. Never again. You used to be the industry standard now you are a joke.

The 5x8 trailer I rented had mud and a couple of dead AA batteries stuck in the corners. The floor was pretty clean, but could have been better. I had to put down blankets on the floor to keep my stuff clean.

The two guys working there were very rude. Joaquin, the manager told me the job would take an hour and when I came back an hour and a half later he denied saying that and told me it would be done at the end of the day. Both men working there were rude and unprofessional and I will never use u- haul installation services again. Very disappointing experience.

It would be helpful to be told when picking up the vehicle to download the app in advance for the return. I was told just to scan the QR code but then had to download the app, while trying to return in the dark, after hours. It would be quicker and easier for someone to know that when they pick the vehicle up to rent.

Gave me a truck with nearly 0 gas in it, did not have rented dollies in the back as stated so I had to get them from inside the store and take them out myself. Front door frequently didn't close all the way, needed to slam it shut. On top of that they charged me for gas even though I returned it in the same near-empty state I received it, and they charged me $150 for "missing equipment" but didn't state what was missing, all 3 dollies were in the back of the truck where they should be. We checked in the equipment with a person, not self check, so none of that should have been an issue I found out when they finally sent me the receipt the next day. The store won't answer the phone and I haven't heard back regarding the extra $160 they charged me for a rental I had for 3 hours.

I returned the truck 3 hours early and handed the key to the guy at the counter, but I was charged a late fee anyways and asked to return the truck via voicemail the next morning. Subsequent phone calls about the feel were unapologetic and unhelpful.

I ended up with unusual circumstances and recieved wonderful accommodation that eased my stress. I would like to say, however, that U-haul needs to solve the night time fuel theft problem. Just letting it happen encourages more of the same and invites trespassing. There are solutions and I've implemented them quite successfully at my brother's business.

Van had zero miles in gas left and I almost ran out before I got to a gas station. Entire cab smelled like cigarette smoke and van was in poor mechanical condition. I will never rent from here again.

Our overnight reserved van was blocked in by several vehicles, we had to wait until you opened to get our vehicle. Then, no one showed up, I called the hotline, the guy told me he "is not a magician" when I asked for how this matter would be resolved. It was my suggestion he call a manager for this location, to see if anyone was coming in at all. Myself and 4 other parties were waiting, they were 15 minutes late, not that long, but the 4 other parties took about 40 minutes to help, and we were there before most of them, but we didn't want to cause a scene. All and all it took over an hour, on a very tight schedule. Once they moved the blocking vehicles, we finally started our long day. We got to our destination and opened the back. No dolly. As we had requested and payed for. When we returned the vehicle they said they don't put the dollys in the truck because people steal them. Then how are we supposed to get a dolly if we were able to pick up 24/7? Maybe the website shouldn't allow you to rent a dolly, if its not even going to be in the truck.. Honestly a terrible experience.

I have rented many trucks and always rent from this location and have always been happy. This time however was different, first the truck was dirty inside and out, also the mileage was off by about 100 miles which would have resulted in me paying for that had I not noticed. I attempted to correct on the app but it doesn't allow that and instructed me to inform the attendant. I did this and he just said take a picture of the mileage before and after so I did. In returning the truck the new attendant said that's not the way you do it, that they should have corrected it there. He also reprimanded me for disputing photos that didn't show damage on the truck, he said only show major damage, I don't know what Uhaul considers major or minor. He told me to just leave and he would take care of it, I told him I have not seen the final amount and I don't want extra charges for these issues, he told me I could go. Overall was a bad experience.

Trailer was easy to reserve on the U-Haul website which is very intuitive and simple to use. Equipment was ready when scheduled and staff at the store was very friendly and helpful!

While Uhaul was gracious and able to rent to us the same day when prior reservations of ours had fallen through, the 10' box truck given to us to use had issues. The truck was not inspected recently and gas was siphoned out of it prior to renting. The fuel line was also damaged and it had a rough time accepting gas being pumped into it. We were also charged to fill it up even though road side assistance was alerted that the truck was in dire need of repair upon return.

They rented a trailer I rented They rented a trailer I bought and rented dropped it off at their site then they re-rented it to somebody who took it all the way to Portland Oregon and I got a charge for almost $1000 on my card and I didn't take it to Portland Oregon. I only had it a day and a half somebody at this location doesn't know what they're doing.

The guy Benjamin looks like he does not want to be there. He always looks mad and uninviting. I had to wait one hour to get the key to my reservation. Then I got the key to a truck that was not there. I got a different one and when I returned the other key the two workers there were making fun of me for whatever reason. Like hello, they were the ones that messed up. How you going to laugh at me for your mistake. Overall, terrible service and the 2 workers there that day were terrible. One was mediocre but nice and Benjamin just made me wish to fire him even though it is not my business.

Counter agent lied about the rate. I chose a van instead of 10' truck because I was told the rate would be $0,89/mi. I WOULD HAVE MUCH RATHER USED A 10' TRUCK BECAUSE THAT WAS THE RATE DISCLOSED AT THE COUNTER. I opted for a van to save money. The manager of the location called me a liar and was very condescending and unhelpful when I pointed this out upon return and I pointed out that I was told 0,89/mi for a van. I called customer service immediately upon leaving and they never followed up. This insanely unprofessional manager was just sitting there looking ripped out of his mind the day I rented, being generally unhelpful and having unprofessional side conversations with employees that were actually doing their best to serve customers the day I was there. The employee at the counter told me he would update the rate when I questioned the 1,09 a mile, assuring me that he would "fix it". They were very busy and we're sort of rushing everyone out the door, and another person who was in line in front of me, came back, because none of the moving supplies were in their truck, and my transaction was taking a long time, so the general unprofessional manner in which the store was run, kind of created a sense of pressure and caused me to want to get out of the store more quickly I'm going to be disputing the charge with my bank, because I did not agree to it, nor was, I told this rate . The manager insinuated that I would lie about these details when I mentioned the discrepancy in the rate upon drop off and implied that I knowingly and intentionally rented inferior equipment for the same price, which is insulting and confounding. Don't get stoned and show up to work and act like an unprofessional blob of a human being that is there to annoy people and then don't be super rude and accuse customers of lying when they raise issues with you, that's what I think this location could Do to improve. I have done business with this location in the past and did not have this horrible of an experience at all, but if this person truly is the manager, I can certainly understand why things are going the way they are now at the location.

I was quote $18,95 for the trailer on Wednesday. Because of the weather I added the $8 for damage but got charged over $32 for the rental. The right tire was low on air so I filled to with a small portable pump. It may need more.

This is the worst experience at a U-Haul that I've ever had and I would avoid this location in the future. Spent almost 30 minutes waiting in line to pick up our reservation only to be met with incredibly rude and unprofessional customer service. The employee was much nicer upon drop off, but the pick up was a total mess and while we waited for our reservation we also saw other customers being treated rudely by staff, so much so that they commented on how awful this place was to all the other customers waiting in line.

The staff and management at that particular location on Sandy Blvd are the main reason why I prefer to do business when it comes to moving friends and family. The personnel there are some of the most dedicated responsive friendly, sincerely concerned for the customers - safety, provisions and complete satisfaction, I've personally ever met. They are like family to me and that's the main reason why I tell everyone to go with Uhaul or go home. :) Shout out! Thank you a million times for all your help!

The available storage possesses hazardous access and unstable equipment to load personal items. I would not recommend this type of storage if seen in person. Pricing is high, particularly in relation to the type of building and storage provided. Overall, the staff was quite friendly, but the building, storage, and parking is subpar.

The best thing about this location is its manager, David. He is available at nearly all hours of the day which made my experience much better, and I thank him for that. However, everything else (mostly related to U-Haul at the corporate level) was unprofessional and disorganized. I was told (by a very kind and helpful customer service rep) that I could move into this location after-hours. I spent hours trying to get in, and ultimately ended up having to wait until morning to move in, which caused me to miss a flight and take on the expense. I learned later that move in after 10pm is not possible, which I was assured would not be an issue over the phone previously. Upon move-out, I had scheduled a truck at this location for 8/1, but when I could not find the reservation in my app I called the location. The clerk told me that the reservation was for 7/31 for a "Frank" (my name is Jack) and therefore was cancelled for no-show. I was looking at the confirmation message for 8/1 at noon, which I told the clerk, who responded, "the reservation was for 7/31 and it is cancelled. I don't know what you want me to do about this". Instead of fixing the problem he suggested I figure it out on my own. I ended up getting lucky and finding equipment at another location. I have very little trust with U-Haul now. I know that my money is not safe with U-Haul and I anticipate losing money and time when working with this company. The employees are not equipped to properly solve customer issues. I will not be a returning customer because I think it's bad business to make multiple errors (similar problems have occured the last two times I have used U-Haul in Seattle and Chicago) and tell the customer to figure out what the company did wrong and to fix it themselves on their own hour and dime.

My items were stolen from my container. They lost my key when they changed my lock and I paid rent on a unit were I was unaware my things were missing. The phone representative was rude and argumentative and now years of memories are gone. Thank God the washer and dryer were to big to take.

Staff and facility are great. What was appallingly bad was my experience with your website. I made a reservation online and received email confirmation, but your staff could find nothing about me on the store computers. My account had vanished. Total waste of time and very stressful. I also ended up with a storage unit much more expensive than what I had reserved. I cannot recommend UHaul to anyone because of this.

It was nice having a keycard to access whenever needed and not having to deal with staff during Covid. The facility was temperature and humidity controlled as advertised. The storage unit was secure and easily accessible. Whenever I had to talk to staff, which was only during move in and move out, they were kind and helpful. Only complaint I had is one of my boxes had mouse poop on it when I moved out. I know it isn't easy to control, but that was kinda gross. At least none of them died in there.

Joey, at Sandy Blvd. U-Haul, was patient, courteous & professional. I'd spoken with Monique, a Manager the day before and she had resolved an issue U-Haul phone representative was unable to. This unit was not usable. We rented it without seeing it due to an emergency situation and arrived to see a unit that was a "stack unit" that I do not feel was adequately described on the website. We had to cancel our rental that same day and rent a unit at a different storage facility. Everyone at U-Haul was nice, though.

I could not be happier with my experience at this UHAUL location. Everything explained clearly and they were quite patient with me as I was very tired after arriving from out of state and moving in 90+ degree weather. I was disappointed when my reservation was for a unit that required going up stairs. Zachary was able to seamlessly check the inventory and change my storage space to the ground level. My phone was not working and I could not call a car service after my move and Zachary offered calling a cab. A great customer service experience all around!

The folks at this U-Haul were always particularly helpful and friendly. The move-out process was also incredibly simple. I am very happy with my experience at this U-Haul facility.

worst experience I've ever had with any uhaul. manager was beyond rude from the moment that we arrived. Tried to force us to use an unsafe ladder to access our unit & wouldn't help us change location.

College dorm overflow Rather hard intitially to get info and deal with Staff, much stuff. Space was physically awkward to access as place up hight off floor. Expensive for Sq Ft.
