Very friendly. I had an issue about some fees that were not supposed to be charged. Kurt didn't argue, and refunded. Very pleased, very nice staff

I had to throw most of my stuff out because it had mouse poop or urine stains on it and it was never no late and night and they have a very bad insect problem. It was not secured you can just go in with out using a code. The box that you post to enter your code never worked.

Extremely pricey. Late fees. Monthly bill started at $125 n it gets a late fee every few days. Sometime I end up paying $50 in late fees.

I was offered a few month with my rental and was asked to pay $65 for my first month. Where is the disconnect??? Feels like they tried to hustle me and I don't like that. Another gentleman there was complaining that he turned in his truck in one day and was charged for 2. Turns out another error on their part. Not a great look U-haul. Matt post this to Google and yelp.

I was driving from Wilson to Richmond . Their was heavy rain and accident and delayed my journey by one hour able to reach by 4,59 pm . Luckily the associate helped me in giving me free storage as I am doing long distance one way . The storage allocating also need to be automated so that we should be able to get the storage any time . I went to uhaul office on Friday to secure my storage . They said once you get uhaul here then only they can allocate the storage . Already we drove 150 miles. Going to uhaul office and again going to self storage In the heavy rain is hard

I went to pay for my 1of my units. The agent put payment on the same unit I had paid for previously. I went to get an item out of the unit only to be locked out due to non payment. The agent didn't open the screen to see i had a 2nd unit which needed pmt. When i did get in, ROACHES met me at the door & I KNOW I DIDN'T HAVE ANY OF THEM PRIOR TO STORING MY BELONGINGS. I rented my unit online because I needed to move after hours and wouldn't have time to visit a store before they closed because I was at work. I tried 3 times to get in the unit ranging from 11pm to 2am. The door was stuck and had no way for me to get in the unit or attach a lock to it once in. The unit had NO lock on the door and nothing attaching to the frame so I could lock it IF it would have opened for me to get inside. After our last attempt I decided to just call for assistance. This is where the TRUE nightmare begin. I called the first time reach a lady who was nonchalant about the situation and told me head down to my unit someone would let me in. It was probably stuck and that I just neeeded "help" getting inside. I waited for about 10 min called again reached thhr same person got placed on hold because they were busy and she had customers in front of her. I sat on hold for over 10 min hung up then called back and reached a man. Shared the same info and was placed on hold. From this time I was upset and running out of time and drove to the facility at 6101 midlothian. I walked in the store and admittedly there was a line but I asked them out loud where was the assistance for an existing customer explained my situation and was told " we see you called but we are busy. Nothing against you but right now we are busy." I was very upset in the tone along with the disregard for my situation so I took a moment to step outside get myself together. I am a customer service manager so customer service is important to me and the level of service I was receiving was infuriating, albeit the situation I didn't want to be nasty or cause a scene I just needed help. I came back in waited in line and the same lady (Tracy) walked past me and said "sorry it's not you we are just busy and my supervisor isn't here to let you in the unit. It will be about 11:00/11:30 ish" I explained to her that I had to have my family out of the location we were in before 11:30 and at that point I had a car full of items and could not move anyone anywhere and asked to be moved to a new unit. She said no sorry you can't do that. I explained that I didn't have any choice at this point and I couldn't wait for someone to show up at this point I had no faith in uhaul staff to have any sense of urgency or ability to fix this Situation by doing what was right. She walked away after I explained that she couldn't tell me I couldn't rent a new unit, that it didn't make sense to tell me that wasn't an option. There was a complete unwillingness to do anything to assist with this error from Tracy. All this happened while I was in line and finally I was called to by some man sitting at the end. When I sat down I said I needed to cancel an old reservation and start a new one. Without hesitation he said ok so you need to do a transfer, imagine my surprise being offered a solution with a named process to something Tracy just told me wasn't even an option. As I'm sitting down getting help moving into another unit the guy explains that they recently painted and it may have been stuck or the locks not applied back on the frame( I showed him a picture of the door with no lock option). Tracy walks over and advises her manager said to move me into 29A and credit one months rent and smiles at me as if she's done something at this point. I thanked her and him and left. Truthfully had there been more time available I would have left and found a new unit elsewhere. I actually cried from frustration over this entire experience during this process. I was never rude or unprofessional at one point and I was met with contempt up until my last interaction. I was so pleased with the rental of my trailer two days prior I even tipped the guy who helped in attaching it to my truck. This experience was so far from that and I will NEVER return to this location and suggest anyone else looking to stay far away as well.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Sucks you have to go to one office just to have to go to the actual location but is a convenient location. Other than that, very clean and the roads taken care of.

I paid for a unit that isn’t available…So I was unable to use it and currently I wasn’t issued a refund and I have to take more time out to return a card for gate access for a location that doesn’t have a gate.

I needed a storage unit in a hurry for a move out the same day. I was able to get a unit and move in same day! When I moved out the unit was accessible and secure. I would recommend this facility it's a great location and easy access.

Although my storage needs were well met, l do think there is room for improvement. Communication with UHaul was difficult. I was placed on hold to speak with staff for long periods, I think upstaffing would solve this problem. I do miss having staff on site, it would improve security and resolve communication issues.

Unit D18 Interior light Never worked, NBD. But the Preventable, uncontrolled Mildew Coating & ruining everything, not container sealed, cost more than the $2,000+ Spent renting your space. SHAME

The entire staff at this Uhaul were extremely friendly and professional. I fell down a flight of stair swhile trying to move and all it took was one call from the ER to extend the use of the truck.
