Occasionally, I had trouble with my access card, not working on the scanner, but never had a time when it didn't eventually let me in. I think the most times I had to swipe the card was four times. The facility was kept very clean and I never had any time when I couldn't get in because of the building being closed. I would gladly use this facility again.

My things are broken due to U-Haul being irresponsible and not taking proper care to unload my belongings. I would NEVER use U-Haul again because they falsely accused me of stealing a truck, then changed the stories multiple times, put me in a financial bind because they put me in a storage unit that was $230 per month, and by December I was going to be charged an extra $240 mind you for cleanliness, I have only been to the unit one time and that was to get the keys even though I was informed and so was my advocate that I was supposed to get a numerical code for my lock. Also, because I did not give personal information Becky Dane was upset and I am NOT going to give people contact information without consent hence why another reason why she reported the truck being stolen!!!!

My unit in the 300 row required a check in at a different building, then another check in at the door to my room. 3. The storage facility app states access hours are 5 am to 10 pm. However, I was not able to access my units after 7 pm. 4. Rates went up numerous times to the point I was paying more than 50 % increase on my units. 5. Let's talk about the closing of my account at 300D. I emptied and cleaned out the unit. Used the mobile app to close the account. Sent a photo of the empty unit. I followed ALL of the instructions. Still, I received not one, not two, but FIVE emails stating I was being charged a late fee for non-payment on a unit I CLOSED. It took not one, but TWO calls to customer service to fix this issue. One call should have been sufficient. I missed an appointment because of that need for a second phone call. I never received any apology from the manager of the office handling my units. Customer service has become sloppy and lazy in the last four years. Please demonstrate you are worth the increases in our fees and rates.

The main number wasn't able to help us over the phone. I wasted hours and days trying. We gave up and used another facility.

Why wasn't that "paperwork" included with the rest of the on line application? Then I went to storage unit and couldn't figure out why sliding my card didn't work. Fortunately another customer showed me where to slide my card before the entrance slide. Good clean unit. Nice location confusing sign up.

In the elevator it states 24/7 storage access but the doors prohibited access after their office business hours. This was not clearly stated when I was setting up access to the storage. The sliding outside door required a code to be used each time it shut. This made large moves incredibly difficult because it required a code activation and when carrying heavy loads this is not practical. This was also never mentioned. The intercom speaker buttons did not work on the outside even during business hours. Management was not responsive nor did they seem to care. All they did was provide excuses of why they could do anything regarding access and are hardly reachable even during business hours. I wasted a lot of time dealing with calling main UHaul customer service and it was all due to local problems with the management of this UHaul office. I would never us this service again.

Shelley ABremerton Uhaul was good. These comments apply to my ENTIRE shipping experience starting at my home in Bonney Lake WA. I called Tacoma Uhaul and set up a move. I asked about the number of containers needed. I answered his questions on the amount of my furniture, number of bedrooms with mattresses and living areas. It was recommended that probably 2 containers would be enough, but suggested 3 just in case. I had a date set for one week before my closing for delivery of my boxes - on a Monday. I called the day before to confirm and was told they wouldn't have drivers available since they contract them. I was promised for the following day. Nope. They couldn't deliver until Friday and my closing was on the following Monday. I had to rearrange the schedule of the loading guys two times for my boxes. 3 boxes arrived Friday. Loaders came on Saturday morning. 3 boxes wasn't enough for my stuff. I had to borrow a truck and trailer to move the rest of my things to a cousins home. There was no time to deliver another box. Plus, they have to contract the drivers! What the heck??? Had I received the boxes as ordered on Monday, there was plenty of time to deliver the 4th box. So I had to order another box (in Bremerton WA) and pack another box and start another contract and pay more than I should have for a separate shipment to my new home in NV. The entire move was a pain in the ass and more trouble and money than it was worth. Never again. The only saving grace was the Uhaul people In Las Vegas/Henderson. They were on top of their game. They kept me in the loop for delivery and my driver was professional. I would love to hear from management at Uhaul about my move - call me if you are concerned about the running of your company in Tacoma WA. I moved 12-13 times during my career in the Navy. Caroline BStaff was courteous. Monthly payments were frequently not credited, leading to past due letters. We finally drove to Bremerton each month to pay in person. A check dated 7/17/23 was finally cashed in late September, after we were told it was never received. We spoke to Andy at your office for move out instructions, which we followed and despite moving out 1 week before the due date we received a past due letter. Once again we drove to Bremerton and were asked if we had a picture of the unit emptied?? Your system is not efficient and we would not recommend the facility because of that. Merci
Charles R | Expérience généraleMy Ubox was originally scheduled for Sept 1. I had to call and reschedule for Aug 24th. I confirmed this several times with the moving driver and numerous customer service representatives. All confirmed it would be there on the 24th. I took off work and had everything out waiting all day and they never showed even after I had called and was told that they would be there by 4. This never happened and caused time and money for me and my family. Fortunately my storage unit facility has not rented out my unit and I was able to move everything back in. However, I was then charged for the remainder of the month! Not happy about this at all! After many calls and hours on the phone, I was told that my movers and box would be arriving on the 25th. I had no other choice but to rearrange my plans and my family's plans. I was supposed to leave the state on the 25th to go to Pennsylvania for my 8 year old grandson's surgery. No need to tell you how sad and disappointed he was. I am not happy with the way things played out with getting my movers and box on the day that it was scheduled and I needed it to arrive. The movers were very friendly although they stepped on one of my totes causing it to cave in and break a valuable piece. The man and woman that delivered my belongs to my new address were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Very very pleased with them.

Then said get the keys from the LOCKSMITH a few businesses over. What?!?. The locksmith said they didn't have those keys for our truck so we had to find the random lady again. It took an hour to do all of this. Most frustrating process we have ever come across. Even dropping it off was a pain because the app said ok, good to go.. then we still had an "active rental". Went to click return truck AGAIN and it had us do 5 additional steps necessary if we still had the keys. But we had dropped them in the box considering the app said to! So the whole thing to rent a truck SUCKS.

When calling, I was either hung up on, or told they would call back. Which never happened. Finally I received a text message saying someone is working on it. The box had been shipped with no emails or communication to anyone, uhaul local and corporate had no idea where the box was. Turns out it shipped and was sitting in at it's destination for who knows how long before anyone told me. Delays in pickup, delays in shipping, and zero communication from U-Haul, and the app shows incorrect information. This was an overall very stressful experience, and I will not be suggesting this service to anyone.

Bill DI rented an outdoor unit so my review is solely based on my real experience. I've wasted over 5 hours of my life on hold or talking to someone who can't even help me. So here I am posting my experience on every review platform I can find So here we go with the many, many things wrong with this place. 1) there is only partial fencing around the perimeter 2) they never close the gate 3) uhaul employees told me there have been many, many storage units broken into 4) they advertise a "state of the art the security system and that each unit has its own alarm...the security system hasn't worked or been turned on for atleast 2 years 5) I don't think the cameras work either seeing as no one said anything about me being at my unit at 2am 6) its not really 24 hour access they told me 9am to 4pm after I had already signed the rental conteact but hey lots of people access their units after hours and no one seems to care, in fact, I'm pretty certain there's a hooker who services her johns in one of the units 2 rows over 7) there are absolutely no onsite employees 8) if you file a complaint for any of the above reasons the manager, Becky, will retaliate and put a uhaul lock on your fully paid for storage unit and deny you access- she has locked me out for 72 hours and counting as of now 9) Becky has managed this facility with its many break ins but she has NOT fixed the alarm for "some reason" so let me be clear...the best and most effective method of preventing the burglaries the facility is plagued with have either been broken for 2 years or Becky has chosen to turn them off. I'm going to be posting a YouTube video I took at 3am last night to show the nonexistent security present at this location. Ill post the YouTube link once its up. Steer clear from the bremerton and gorst uhaul. Oh and the place is ghetto- there's been the same couch and 3 filthy mattresses dumped in the front since I've been renting there. Corporate Uhaul should cut their losses- and liabilities-and close both the kitsap way and gorst facilities down.

I was told that it's "normal" for the website to show that units are available when they are not. So I had a truck full of stuff and was forced to get a more expensive and bigger unit, because i needed storage. This was disappointing.

When I first moved into this facility it was brand new and kept clean but as time went on, it seemed to lack proper cleaning and maintenance. Several times when I was there, what appeared to be homeless people were in their vehicles and using the facilities. Oh, and it's difficult to get a refund if you move out mid-month of your rental.

Why have an online move in option if ultimately a face to face experience is required? The following afternoon, my codes worked. That night, for the second consecutive night, I took a loaded truck to empty into my unit and again my code did not work. The box said something about it being after hours, but I don't understand how there's an after hours at a 24/7 access storage facility, especially when my code worked during the day. Horrible experience, complete waste of time.

You should ask the customer how easy it was to get information that they could trust. Answer: it wasn't! You should ask about the employees who are untrained and can only parrot a script, which is most of them. You should also ask about the shining lights in your organization. There are a very few of them which is not surprising since your company handicaps them from the start of the process.

Frank KWe will never use or recommend Uhaul ever again. The entire experience was beyond ridiculous. It is virtually impossible to get ahold of anyone. And when you do and want to ask a question, or make arrangements for delivery every employee just passed us off to someone else without answering our questions. And when renting our moving containers nobody told us anything about not being able to deliver the containers to be placed on grass. Which resulted in us having to rent a truck at the last minute to get our stuff. The staff from Queensbury New York to Bremerton Washington were all very rude and completely unprofessional. Had we known our containers couldn't be delivered and placed on grass we would have rented a truck weeks before when our containers arrived, but instead Uhaul didn't tell us anything, so we ended up paying a month of rent for our containers to just sit, only to be told we would have to rent a truck to pick up our belongings. Beyond ridiculous. We feel completely scammed by Uhaul at this point. It was a horrible experience from beginning to end. Pretty awful to spend almost $6 000 and to be treated so poorly. It's obvious that customer service is dead at Uhaul.
Thomas BI arrived to pick up a reserved trailer at the office that runs the facility and they didn't check me in for my reserved storage unit at the same time. As a result, I had to make an additional round-trip with the trailer to gain access to the storage facility. Parking / Trailer access at the storage facility was also less-than optimal especially since they had most of the parking / access area blocked with moving pods. Finally, half of the lights in the hallway where are unit is were out and so it was very dark in the unit and hard to see since the units did not have their own lights.

Rachel L | Déménagement en ligneYou need to train your phone personnel better and impress upon them that they are offering a service to customers who are paying well to get those services. I spent hours on the phone with multiple UHaul personnel who were not able to get my nine (9) Uboxes shipped from where they had been stored for the past several months, to a location near my new home in Poulsbo, Washington. They kept telling me who I needed to connect with all over the state of Washington, none of which were correct. I was transferred and disconnected multiple times before finally finding someone in Bremerton, Washington who could arrange shipping from my former home. Becky was able to arrange a June 12, 2022 shipment and arrival in Bremerton on June 15, 2022. Delivery to my home was promised for June 22, 2022. When I called to arrange delivery time, I was told my Uboxes had been received, but could not be delivered until July 15, 2022 because they were short drivers. I was really upset thinking we had to store the Uboxes another month ($1000 charge). Becky did an amazing job finding an alternate moving company to bring my Uboxes to me and have them unloaded. That being said, the only highlight of this entire transaction was the excellent service I received in Idaho Falls, Idaho who handled delivery and rental of Uboxes in Idaho Falls, and Becky who coordinated the shipment to Bremerton, and subsequently arranged alternate carrier to deliver them. All of the rest of this has been a nightmare. I could NEVER recommend shipping goods this way to another person.
marilyn pEverything worked great. I was a little worried about weight (2000lb limit), but it apparently wasn't a problem. Only "complaint" is cost, but I understand shipping costs are largely beyond Uhaul's control.
Zachary SI had several issues with this facility: 1. There were multiple times when I could not get into the facility due to my card or PIN not working - no staff on hand to assist so I had to drive to Bremerton. 2. They changed the access from "24 hours" down to match the business hours of the main office in Bremerton without notifying me. 3. They eliminated the use of PINs and required everyone to switch to cards without notifying me. I showed up with a group of people to help me move some stuff but I could not get in - once again no staff on hand to assist. Right now I would not recommend this facility to anyone. If there was a staff member on hand during business hours it would fix all the problems I had.

Kimberly A | Expérience généralecouldn't find someone to facilitate my check out, and it was left on 'pending' online for a week. access hours were changed from 24 hour to only business hours while i was out of state, because units were being broken in to frequently. the few times i saw the staff, they were polite and helpful. overall: Uhual- i recommend. this facility's staff- wonderful people, doing their best. this facility- do not recommend.

Did not get first box until 4 hours after scheduled pick up. Took hours to receive all boxes. Staff were not trained. Fork lift overheated. Waited 6 hours to receive 5 boxes with moving labor being charged by the hour. Will never use UHaul again.
Molly PIt took us 3 or 4 days be be able to actually acquire the boxes when we has a pickup appointment at noon on the original pickup day. Calling the facility did no good as it was unmanned at the time of our call. The Ubox office was on the other side of the warehouse and was locked and unmanned when we were there the first few attempts we made to pick up. We finally got in contact with the scheduling manager on the 4th day who called Cami, the employee that day, and she showed up from a location off site. Cami herself was very helpful but was impossible to get in contact with. I lost several days of work and our leisurely 7 day drive from Washington to Texas turned into a rushed 3 day drive with 10+ hours of driving per day. I would absolutely never recommend this service and would rather go through the frustration of transporting items myself or selling it all and starting fresh in a new location. I am in contact with someone about a credit, but even then, what I am expected to pay after the 750 dollars off is still astronomical (over 2k) for the delays on both ends of our shipping experience. The Ubox people at our Texas location were punctual, communicative, and timely. if you absolutely need to use this service, spring for the delivery from the warehouse because self pickup was a nightmare. We had other, internal issues with our order as well. Somehow my order got assigned to my Father's phone number. I have a good relationship with my family, but I couldn't imagine the struggle if you were in a bad situation and trying to leave without notice. It took 5-10 different U-Haul customer service reps to finally find someone who was able to sort out my order and get it under my name and phone number. They typically aren't supposed to discuss the order with anyone except the name on the contract, so I couldn't call on my order and I couldn't access it on U-Haul dot com. I have my stuff now, but it was 12 days past my initial arrival date. I'm just glad to have this whole situation in the past.
Hannah WThis service exceeded our expectations. What went really well: loading the containers. We rented a U-Haul truck to get our belongings to the containers and loaded them ourselves. Staff was extremely helpful. We noticed that one corner of the roof of one of the U-boxes was damaged and we were concerned about water getting in, but when the boxes arrived at their destination, the roof had been repaired. And the U-boxes were sturdier than we thought. Kudos to everyone at U-Haul who takes pride in delivering good service and who pays attention to the integrity of these boxes. I would use this service again and recommend it to others. The only improvement that I would suggest is to provide better instructions for accessing U-boxes once they arrive at their destination. The storage facility had no formal office, so we had to find the nearest location to inquire about accessing the boxes. Once we did, the staff was extremely helpful. One other area for improvement was that my online account had a very confusing and invalid reservation added to it that took me a few phone calls to U-Haul to verify that it was a system glitch. Overall, this is an excellent service and I'm happy that U-Haul provides it. Thank you for a good experience.
christine fAs long as payment is on autopay, everything is smooth and well! The late fee is a tad outrageous but autopay eliminates that! Very clean facility, no spiders, secure building. Will recommend to others! Move-out was super easy.
