Park your trucks far enough apart that there is enough space to fully open the door. Leaving barely 14 inches of clearance between vehicles is discriminatory, does not allow for your "recommended inspection and photos before receiving" and is ABSOLUTELY NOT ADA COMPLIANT by any stretch of the imagination. I had to request for an attendant to pull the truck out for me, and they were so busy it took 38 minutes to do so. (I'm glad I wasn't scheduled to pick up after hours, or it would have been impossible.)Lylith B.

We returned the rental trailer at the absolute â€œpeakâ€ of Oregon St Univ (OSU) move-in weekend. We encountered numerous customers waiting to check in their rental equipment. We waited about 5 mins then one employee â€œLukasâ€ was really on the ball. He got all the waiting customers organized for quick check out. I rented 2 trucks because there were none larger than the 26ft. truck. I have come to this uhaul almost exclusively whenever I needed a larger vehicle to move an item. I even rented a truck for a day and returned it 3 hours later in the past. I was unpleasantly surprised that when I found that I could not get my truck unloaded by the 1:00pm guesstimate I had given before starting the e move, I worked on it almost nonstop. I saw uhaul called and I called them back to let them know that I was aware that I was late and was really trying my best to get the truck unpacked. I was told that I would be put on a red list and threatened with having the police called on me to report the truck as STOLEN. This surprised me as I have never committed a crime and never had a speeding ticket in my life. I was just late getting the truck back and tried telling them that I would as soon as possible, but I had a lot of things to move. I had already returned the van I had also rented from them but was very sorry, but the truck wasn't empty otherwise I would just drive it back. I am obviously not a thief. I was again told that the police were being notified of my theft and the manager would be dealing with this tomorrow morning. I returned the truck at 10:30pm that evening.I was unable to return it at 1:00pm as I thought, but I did return it the same day. This was a very harrowing experience on an already stressful day.Tracy J.

Staff at Corvallis u-haul were very helpful in getting my trailer hooked up and explaining the basics of trailer towing. they also pointed out that my ball needed a sleeve to adapt it to the hitch, which I had not known before. and provided one so that my tow would be safer.Scott G.

There were two truck rentals on our reservation. I called customer service and went into the pick up location to have to adjusted and neither of them did it. When I returned the truck after hours a it said I had two moving trucks and tried to charge me for both. Very unhappy with my experience to say the least!!Daniel R.

We rent from this location quite often. We rented a trailer on August 27th. The check in was fine inside, but when we went outside, the young woman hooking up trailers hooked it up to a different vehicle and off they drove with the trailer assigned to me. Then she proceeded to disregard my concern and motioned to hook up to another trailer. I could not confirm the equipment because the pictures showed the trailer I was assigned. She said â€œthere is a glitchâ€ and they would fix it. After many attempts, the link expired. I never was able to confirm the trailer I actually got. Plus, that young woman did not have very good customer service skills. She did not make me comfortable with my rental.Kristine A.

The truck was unsafe - the steering wheel needed to be turned 45 degrees in order to drive straight. The cab also smelled VERY strongly of stale cigarette smoke. For the price we paid the vehicle should have been a safer, cleaner vehicle. We were overall very disappointed and will not be using uhaul for future moves.Christian C.

It was confusing whether the gas tank was full or not. Although it was mentioned full tank during the time of taking, but it was not. I have the picture as well. Overall excellent. One exception to the friendly staff. Two weeks ago I had a bad experience when at 5 minutes before the opening time of your office, I had to use the bathroom and was bluntly told by the young woman when I told her that I needed to urinate badly, was 80 years old and might wet myself : "No, I don't care, you are not allowed in the building at this time." My U-Haul experience was great. The employees are super helpful and friendly. The facility was exactly what I needed. My only problem was the difficulty getting through on the phone. The only reason I did not go with an excellent is I had trying calling the facility twice on Tuesday of this week, and no one answered, and there was not a voice messaging option. Instead my calls were auto-routed to UHaul Customer service which is a nightmare during the day - with hold times to get through to a person of 30 min plus. Yet when I called other UHauls in the area on Tuesday, I could at least leave a message and someone got back to me. Being from out of town I initially assumed on Tuesday that maybe it was an unmanned facility, as us the customers seem to have to keep doing more and more of the administrative work when buying something, renting something etc. and that is a big bummer.Robert H. | Premières impressions
Overall everything was very good. The only issues we had were that there was nearly 1" deep standing water in front of our unit, #141. It just wasn't level for drainage. The other issue was the expense. Paying nearly $180 p/mo.for the 8X10X20 storage unit was pretty steep. I looked around and found another storage place with a unit that was taller, wider and deeper about 5 miles away for only $130 p/mo with the third month free. Online rental was quick and easy (similar to other services Uhaul provides), however storage access times are misrepresented. See screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/s4wayiH . "Storage Access" is stated to be from 5AM - 10PM with the option of 24hrs access as an additionally sold amenity. Unfortunately, this is not how the location handles it's accessible hours, instead you must use dual locks on your unit and request a key from the front office upon each visit, to unlock a secondary lock that the location owns. This must be done within business hours (7am - 7pm) and requires the physical surrendering (this is written during statewide quarantine) of a Uhaul accepted identification card, significantly reducing the usability of the storage. After 30 days, this inconvenience can be remedied by a fee increase of $120/yr for 24hr access. While stated otherwise on the rental webpage, there are not any actual access hours allowed between 5am - 7am or 7pm - 10pm unless special arrangements have been made with the front office per exception. This was not explained in any form upon move in. In fact, required front-desk sign in or supervised unit access is mentioned as a punishment for customer disturbances within the rental agreement and contains no reference to actual office hour requirements. Additionally, the confirmation email itself states that access hours are 5am-10pm Mon-Sun without any mention of a required check in. At this point I am curious what other red flags or fees will come about during this process that were left unexplained at the move in time or inaccurately represented on their website. I am understanding of the rules, that the location is allowed to set rules to maintain order on this premises, that the management is working hard to keep units secure for everybody and why this policy would be in place in absence of a gate. But with the combination of the false access times represented online & in the confirmation email, no mention of the specific access hours within the rental agreement itself and increased rent to use the access time already thought to be paid for - I feel that future buyers should be aware of this up front and take the omitted details into strong consideration when evaluating this location's service.Kyle S. | Online Move In

This is a poorly managed facility. The staff appears to be under constant stress and frustration. Maybe there isn't enough employee's to handle the load. I also was charged an astronomical amount for being late one day on my storage unit, I was charged for more gas on the truck that I had rented, which was clearly not needed and then when I closed my account a week earlier was told there was no prorate.
