We had only one issue, however it was significant. When we returned our the trailer Thursday evening we hurried to arrive there prior to closing which was 7:00P. We arrived at 6:55P and pulled into the unloading area and waited as we normally would (we've rented several times recently). We waited for someone to come out and release the trailer, but after 3-4 minutes no one came. My Wife got out and went to look for someone as we had no way to know what to do with the trailer. As it turns out there was someone there named Natalia. My Wife found her sitting inside. She would not come to the door despite my Wife knocking several times and waiting 4-5 minutes. Finally Natalia did come to the door, unlocked it and angrily told her they were closed and to drop the trailer. My Wife asked where we should drop the trailer and mentioned that we had been outside waiting for someone to come out as they have every other time. Natalia said that they were closed. My Wife said, “you weren't closed when we arrived at 6:55” and Natalia responded that we should have come in an looked for her…. Natalia then claimed that our truck was not there when she closed at 7:00…. Every time I have returned equipment to this Uhaul, I have pulled up and someone comes out to receive it, even when it's close to closing time. I believe there is a sign there stating that we should “remain in our vehicle” which is what we did for a few minutes, then my Wife went looking for someone to tell us where we should leave the trailer. So there are several issues here. First when do you close? Is it 7:00? Is it 6:55? Is it 6:50? Someplace in between? I was told 7:00 and we rushed to arrive at 6:55, that is before 7:00. Where do you draw the line?? 6:54?? Second, we had to get out and unhook a wet and dirty trailer in the dark and in near freezing temps. Not great, but that big of a deal really. Had Natalia come out and said “it's almost closing would you mind unhooking the trailer…..anyplace” that would have been fairly reasonable. Instead, Natalia chose to sit inside for several minutes while my Wife stood outside in the rain, knocking on the door seeking some sort of guidance as to where to unhook your equipment. I realize we arrived close to closing time, however it seems like the least Natalia could have done was run out and let us know that we were on our own and where to put your equipment. I spoke with Brent both via phone and in person over the last couple of weeks. He was a pleasure to deal with and the utmost professional. We had no other significant issues with the facility or the equipment.

The inside of the truck was wet from condensation and dampened some of my boxes. It was a little frustrating, but not the end of the world. The movers you have associated with you is another story. We went with one of the supposedly more affordable companies suggested for my locale. Everything was great until today. They were no-shows and completely ghosted us. We ended up having to pay extra for alternate help. We-haul should be removed from your website. Their reviews are horrible and range from not showing up to taking people's money and not showing up. Anyone that contracts with them through your site will think it's someone your associates with. It's a risk I wouldn't accept as a business owner if I were making those decisions. Reputation is everything. If Uhaul vetted these folks, they need to dig a little deeper to decide whether there's grounds to maintain the relationship.

I was given an old, not mechanically maintained, 26' for a one-way trip from Oregon over the Cascade mountains to California. I was loaded and started my drive at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday traveling over the mountains. In the middle of the night the truck sputtered and coughed as if out of timing adjustment of something the red light flickered and I thought I was going to be stranded in the mountains in the middle of the night. Scary, I am a 73 year old woman. A billing adjustment is requested.

I drove 15 total miles and put 2,5 gallons of gas in the vehicle before I returned it which was more than enough. Then these guys try claiming the need to charge me $28 extra for failing to replace the gas. Luckily I took a picture of the odometer and gas gauge before using the vehicle and proved the gas needle was higher than it was when I took possession of it. So not only did they try and scam me out of $28, they tried to up-charge me on gas that they didn't buy nor sell.

Check level of gas before renting as should've been 1/2 tank as promised or tell customer 1/4 tank so they can anticipate stopping for gas before leaving town.

Consider stocking a truck where the driver seat is more adjustable. It moves towards the dash but not vertically up or down or tilting. Engine also seemed to need servicing. Acceleration and gear shifting was very rough.

I was quoted $115,45 with mileage. My total was $192.45. This was for the smallest box van, for one day + gas. So in total I paid $232,45 for one day. Ridiculous!!

Unimpressed on how I was told that I could change my payment type when I turned in the truck at my destination. I even returned it with half a tank of gas and a day early but was refused any type of refund or payment change. I specifically asked about changing the payment when I picked up the truck and was told that I could do it when I dropped it off.

The staff is great, especially Austin, you should give him a raise because he is the best. No offense but Uhaul doesn't deserve him, so treat him well. So I returned late a night to drop off the uhaul, and the entire place was blocked with uhauls?? I couldn't get in, nor could I grab my car either. It was 11pm until I got home because of that chaos. Why did you block on our cars? Luckily we could fit through and found a back exit.

Park your trucks far enough apart that there is enough space to fully open the door. Leaving barely 14 inches of clearance between vehicles is discriminatory, does not allow for your "recommended inspection and photos before receiving" and is ABSOLUTELY NOT ADA COMPLIANT by any stretch of the imagination. I had to request for an attendant to pull the truck out for me, and they were so busy it took 38 minutes to do so. (I'm glad I wasn't scheduled to pick up after hours, or it would have been impossible.)

Overall excellent. One exception to the friendly staff. Two weeks ago I had a bad experience when at 5 minutes before the opening time of your office, I had to use the bathroom and was bluntly told by the young woman when I told her that I needed to urinate badly, was 80 years old and might wet myself : "No, I don't care, you are not allowed in the building at this time." I did have an accident and will never deal with her again.

There is not much lighting. I accidently set off the alarm on my unit and no one ever showed up nor did I get a call. What is the point of the new alarms if no one responds??

The staff were friendly and efficient. Even when I had to go back to the office regarding a question they were attentive and helpful. I had paid for the unit and moved in, but was still treated very well. They are true "service" people as opposed to being just "sales" people. I felt comfortable leaving my belongings there.

My U-Haul experience was great. The employees are super helpful and friendly. The facility was exactly what I needed. My only problem was the difficulty getting through on the phone. Sometimes I just drove to U-Haul instead of waiting on hold. That was my only issue. Everything else was great.

The only reason I did not go with an excellent is I had trying calling the facility twice on Tuesday of this week, and no one answered, and there was not a voice messaging option. Instead my calls were auto-routed to UHaul Customer service which is a nightmare during the day - with hold times to get through to a person of 30 min plus. Yet when I called other UHauls in the area on Tuesday, I could at least leave a message and someone got back to me. Being from out of town I initially assumed on Tuesday that maybe it was an unmanned facility, as us the customers seem to have to keep doing more and more of the administrative work when buying something, renting something etc. and that is a big bummer.

Overall everything was very good. The only issues we had were that there was nearly 1" deep standing water in front of our unit, #141. It just wasn't level for drainage. The other issue was the expense. Paying nearly $180 p/mo.for the 8X10X20 storage unit was pretty steep. I looked around and found another storage place with a unit that was taller, wider and deeper about 5 miles away for only $130 p/mo with the third month free. It is well worth moving out.

Online rental was quick and easy (similar to other services Uhaul provides), however storage access times are misrepresented. See screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/s4wayiH . "Storage Access" is stated to be from 5AM - 10PM with the option of 24hrs access as an additionally sold amenity. Unfortunately, this is not how the location handles it's accessible hours, instead you must use dual locks on your unit and request a key from the front office upon each visit, to unlock a secondary lock that the location owns. This must be done within business hours (7am - 7pm) and requires the physical surrendering (this is written during statewide quarantine) of a Uhaul accepted identification card, significantly reducing the usability of the storage. After 30 days, this inconvenience can be remedied by a fee increase of $120/yr for 24hr access. While stated otherwise on the rental webpage, there are not any actual access hours allowed between 5am - 7am or 7pm - 10pm unless special arrangements have been made with the front office per exception. This was not explained in any form upon move in. In fact, required front-desk sign in or supervised unit access is mentioned as a punishment for customer disturbances within the rental agreement and contains no reference to actual office hour requirements. Additionally, the confirmation email itself states that access hours are 5am-10pm Mon-Sun without any mention of a required check in. At this point I am curious what other red flags or fees will come about during this process that were left unexplained at the move in time or inaccurately represented on their website. I am understanding of the rules, that the location is allowed to set rules to maintain order on this premises, that the management is working hard to keep units secure for everybody and why this policy would be in place in absence of a gate. But with the combination of the false access times represented online & in the confirmation email, no mention of the specific access hours within the rental agreement itself and increased rent to use the access time already thought to be paid for - I feel that future buyers should be aware of this up front and take the omitted details into strong consideration when evaluating this location's service.

If the store employees are too busy to answer the phone it goes to customer service. Totally fine, but then customer service need to be able to assist just like a store employee.

This is a poorly managed facility. The staff appears to be under constant stress and frustration. Maybe there isn't enough employee's to handle the load. I also was charged an astronomical amount for being late one day on my storage unit, I was charged for more gas on the truck that I had rented, which was clearly not needed and then when I closed my account a week earlier was told there was no prorate. I will have to deal with another company in Corvallis now.

A U-Haul branded lock mysteriously ended up on the U-Box I had shipped from West Virginia. Employee was discourteous, and $69 was added to my credit card for "STORAGE" and "BASIC INCOME".

Both the counter guy and the technician outside were friendly, courteous and competent. We had 2 Uhaul moving pods delivered here and they arrived on time and not damaged. Great service!

Shipped my furniture with ubox, made sure everything was secured. When I opened the box at the receiving location, I found my antique desk smashed. U-haul refuses to fix it. Lost a customer for life.

My experience at the Corvallis store was wonderful. I would never recommend UHAUL to anyone. As a company, UHAUL has too many communication errors between offices & between people of the same office.

Transportation costs quoted were from a third party provider and inaccurate and incomplete. Damage from rats and mice from chewing and waste to personal items is extensive. No disputes, just subpar.
