AJ, this location's manager, is exceptional. Explained everything. Was really knowledgeable, patient, and professional from start to finish. The truck was awesome. The storage facility is clean and fully equipped with carts/tools to complete my move. Well done.

My son and my belongings got stuck on the elevator and the fire alarm went off. I called after hours number and left a message. Fire department came and I hadn't received a call back from after hours still and had to call them back. Once there they were helpful and somewhat sympathetic. They gave me 2 smaller storage units for the rest of my things on the first level. I just think there should be some kind of contingency plan for this sort of thing. The elevator I was told would be down for a couple months, I have knee problems and can't do alot of steps to my 3rd floor unit. My question is how do I get my things back down when I'm ready to move? They did assure me ot would be taken care of. Other than that, everyone was great

The swipe process was confusing and not fully explained that the pin/swipe needs to be used twice. Once to check in and then again to actually unlock the doors. This information would have been helpful for a first timer.

People sleeping inside. Someone sleeping in rest room. People with lawn chairs sitting outside their unit. People leaving trash inside entrance on floor. Roaches. Water leaking in my unit. Woman who cleaned building was friendly and did good job.

It was amazing moving in. The only thing that was distasteful was when we got there, there was some wet Grey water along the ground at the loading doc

It was to many bugs crawling around Roaches everywhere I didnt feel comfortable with my items in the storage 🙃 also the smell was awful it smelled like moth balls when I removed my items from the storage my items smelled like moth balls. I had to self treat (pest control) my items for bugs.

My move out date was 7/22/2020. I called and spoke to a staff member that told me they would look at the unit and delete me out the system. Than on 8/07/2020 I received a bill saying I owe $102 because someone else didn’t do their job right. I called three times after I received that bill to clear to the situation and no answer. So no I won’t recommend it to anyone. Thank you

Couple of things: I reserved a unit online before trip from Chicago to Dayton. I wanted to change start date, but was unable to do so through my account. I tried called Dayton directly, no such luck, keep getting transferred to 800 number. After being on hold for 30 minutes I was able to change date with a very nice customer service person. After she made the change, I wanted a confirmation. The only way she could do it was do a screen shot on her end and email it to me from her personal email account, not U-Haul. Really??? Check-in at Dayton went well. However, when I got to storage unit location, I was trying to figure things out and was greeted by the U-Haul maintenance person named Joe. Talk about being helpful. He was leaving for the day, when he took the time to show me everything you need to do, from disarming the alarm, to putting in the code to enter the building, to showing me how to open garage door, even walking me to and showing me my unit. He didn't have to do what he did, but he was awesome for helping me out after a 5 hour drive from Chicago. Thank you again Joe...

Not very visually informative. When I pulled in all I saw were storage units and didn't tell me where the truck drop-off was.

I do not recommend anybody using this location because there isn't a person availability at the facility to help you. I had issues getting the key out the lock box because the wrong code was sent to me. I had issues with the website when I was returning the truck. I guarantee this is the last time I use Uhaul.
