Lauren L.For starters you should insure that the trailer you rent out is empty and not full of someone else's furniture. I left with a trailer from you only to find out once I got to my loading destination 40 miles away that the uhaul trailer was still full of someone else's furniture, after arguing with uhaul they finally sent a new trailer to me causing a 4 hour delay in my loading and leaving for my destination. Once I got to my drop-off point for the trailer I find nobody to turn the trailer into and the contact number being not a good number.
DALE E.Truck taillight out on driver side. Headlights extremely dim, made night driving difficult. Truck was filthy. Driver side door would not unlock with key, had to crawl over from passenger side to unlock. Was not even our original equipment choice. After being told it was available, we drive there and found out it wasn't available. This made our moving time longer and MORE EXPENSIVE.

DARRIN M.The road that you turn off 7th street onto has a lane with sign return equipment. I always take the other because I'm not returning I'm picking up. Maybe a new sign that says office and return equipment or just says U/haul?

Mary W.Improve the customer parking at this location. The office is surrounded by storage units and it's like a maze or a jigsaws puzzle for multiple customers to park. There are a few locations located in Hattiesburg. I have always wondered there are many facilities and one worker at these locations. Delaying time to quickly meet their customers needs, without everyone growing impatient. I was fine but that was my observation.

Rozenia R. | Expérience généraleThis was the worse experience I had with renting any type of truck. First, the truck was not available eventhough I specfically booked this truck in advance and mentioned that I need it at a certain time. I get to the pick up and nothing is there. 4 hours later, I receive the truck but not the autotransport. The next day, I was scheduled to be in town for my schooling, Because of Uhaul I got completely screwed over. I was late for my first day of college and had to pay someone to drive my car there THIS IS WHY I HAD THE AUTOTRANSPORT booked. During drop off, the location they gave me was the wrong one. Finally, when I found the right location, I got even more screwed because the drop off key box was nowhere to be found.
negin M.I returned the moving van with 13 extra miles than allotted which I was charged for. I explained the situation to the individual at the drop off location only to fall on deaf ears. At that time I also explained the van was returned with over a 1/4 tank more than at the pick up location. I was told U Haul no longer gave credit for the additional fuel when the vehicle is returned. If I'd know this the extra fuel would of been a lot less. Seems like U Haul is double dipping on the extra fuel and also the added mileage charge.
william F.The Uhaul dealer was so busy that he asked people returning the trucks to leave the keys and said he would email the receipt. He never did. The next morning, the dealer thought the truck was gone because the worker did not check the vehicle in. I had to spend hours of my time on the phone and then eventually driving to the dealership to watch security cameras with the GM so she could verify my story. Eventually it was determined the employee entered the wrong truck number and all was corrected. I cannot get my time back that was wasted. What a horrible experience and company.
Michael S.I had several problems from the representative being unable to find my reservation (which caused me to be late to the place I originally intended to pickup from because he closed and was VERY rude) to them charging me for gas after I had already refilled the tank to the level it was at when I got the truck. The first rep was not welcoming to the other customers as they came in, and I had to stand in line unacknowledged for 20-30 minutes. It was only the second rep, Will, who greeted those in line and was friendly and helpful. I really hope I NEVER have to do business there again.

Either someone tried to break in the truck or they tried getting in because they locked the keys in it but the frame around the window area was bent and had damage. You can visible see.damage. The tire light stayed on because some one had a flat and didn't reset the sensors. Will not rent again.

The initial unit we were offered (and declined) was actually frightening...dark, did not seem each space was secure as someone could climb over the dividing walls. The outdoor access unit had a bit of a moisture problem, but we worked around it. There was nothing damaged when we cleared the unit, either by water or pests. Overall, we are satisfied with our experience. The people are the greatest asset.

Dorothy W. | Expérience généraleI was told that the facility was climate control which is what I wanted but it was not. The main door was left open all day for heat and humidity to come and go. The doors to some of the units were rotting. There was no inside lighting. There was standing water outside the door of my unit. There was also no AC unit to provide climate control environment, yet I was charged for a climate control unit. I will never do business with U-Haul again. This facility was a disgrace and very poorly maintained. I removed my belongings before a month was up because of the poor state of this facility.

It sounds terrible both front tires. I'm suppose to start work Monday and I'm afraid to drive it. So please have someone contact me, I need a rental until its fixed. Merci
Christine G. | Premières impressionsThe facility was in poor repair and look like it had flooded many times before. There were also no lights inside the storage unit itself. It was dark in there and I had to use a flashlight to load my belongings inside. The wall upper walls were covered in rotted paneling wood and the door to the unit was lopsided and hard to open and close. Out of all the units I've used over the years this was the all-time worst. It was also raining when I unloaded my belongings and it looked as if the rain water was going to enter the bottom of the building as it kept rising. Definitely a flood hazard due to poor drainage. I would have continued to shop around but was in a crunch to find a last minute place for my belongings. This is an issue that needs to be resolved by the U-Haul company itself not the employees.
