I needed a truck before business hours so I did the 24/7 truck share option for 7am. I showed up 10 minutes early as suggested and logged in at 7am on my phone to get my truck. Instead of getting the combo to the lock box to obtain the key, I was getting a message that said my key needed to be hand delivered and to go to the counter. This wasn’t a U-Haul location, it was just a gas station that has U-Haul trucks for pickup using the 24/7 share option. The girl inside wasn’t sure what to do, so she called her boss... anyway, in the end, I got the truck an hour later because the truck I had reserved was returned late the night before, so the key wasn’t ready for me. Instead, it was sitting in the drop off box from the previous user. I understand this was an exception to how things are supposed to work, but the bottom line was I still had to pay full price for the inconvenience and would be hesitant to go about this process the same way with the truck share option. The employee at the gas station and her boss were super nice, but the hour it took to resolve the issues was a bit much., hence the sub par review.

There were some issues with the materials we requested being provided. We received equipment we didn't order (dolly and cart) and didn't receive the 10 pads we ordered. I don't know if it was the fault of the place, and it was likely an oversight.

You changed my reservation to your new 24/7 app, which I did not want because my phone is not working right. I wanted yo do all at counter, but clerk fid not know the system well. It was a nightmare and cost me 45 minutes which ended up causing me yo run late and incur an additional days charge. That is not right, and because of that I cannot recommend Uhaul. A real mess and it cost money.

Maybe consider the equipment being returned to this location. The space is limited; I had a 20' truck w/a car dolly. It was a tight fit. Overall great experience.

It was nearly impossible to complete the “return your vehicle” process online. Every time I attempted to submit a photo it would bring me back to page one. After about 20 minutes of being on hold on the phone I downloaded the UHaul app and was able to complete that way. The entire return process from start to finish took about 45 minutes.

I didn't like the way you selected the amount of gas that was left: I accidentally inputted less than I actually put in the tank and then had to pay for gas when I actually put enough gas in the truck! Not fair.

Not critical of location but the PROCESS of reserving at one site 2101 Adams, being sent to another site for pick-up, not being able to get a "password", waiting 2 hours to assume custody.... messed up!
