No improvement needed. It was a pleasure all the way. When the need arises, this is my go to place for rental trucks.

Caseem MWhen we arrived to pick up the truck we were told they did not have a appliance dolly in stock, which we had reserved online. We were told to get one from a uhaul in the next town. When the man called to confirm I was picking up the truck that morning, he could have mentioned they did not have a dolly. It was very inconvenient. We will not use this company again.

Michael MFor a one-way rental it would be nice if your trucks were equipped with cruise control and a USB PORT. 900-mile drive without cruise control was a nightmare. Also a problem keeping the phone charged without a charging port in the truck. I have rented from Penske many times, which are standard in their trucks.

EDWARD BGee was quite possibly one of the sweetest souls I've had the chance to interact with! Location was easily accessible, truck was clean and ready to go. I was moved to her location after my previous rental location couldn't handle my rental - very thankful it was! Gee was there to help when we hit a stumble trying to figure out how to use my certificate from a previous rental. Always really positive which is a breath of fresh air in today's harsh world.

Michael JThe truck had a filthy interior and it had a strong odor that smelled like body odor and cigarette smoke. I spent over an hour cleaning the inside of it so that I would be able to stand sitting in it for a 960 mile trip. I checked the oil because I heard the engine making a slight ticking noise and it was 3 quarts low on oil so I used my own money and put oil in it so that I would not end up on the side of the road somewhere. There also was a major confusion on where we were to pick the truck up because of the availability of furniture blankets. I put the order in at the Palm Harbor Florida store and they sent us to the Clearwater, Florida store saying that they have the truck and the blankets available there and when we got there they did not have the blankets there which got my wife got a little nervous and the employee treated my wife very rudely. From there we left and went back to the Palm Harbor store and told them that they did not have the blankets available at Clearwater and that we were treated badly at Clearwater. So they put another order in to pick the truck up at Tarpon Springs and they assured us that they would have everything there the next day when we picked the truck up. After we left the Palm Harbor store they changed the order again and I was not aware of it and we were supposed to pick the truck up at New Port Richey but we ended up picking up at Tarpon Springs and it still did not have the furniture blankets that we needed . So after picking the truck up I got a phone call from New Port Richey ,I believe it was the store manager there and he wanted to know if we were picking our truck up that day which I knew nothing about and he said that we were supposed to come there because he was the one that had the blankets available so in the end I ended up going and buying furniture blankets somewhere else.

Sarah MAs a long-time UHaul user, I have never had such an awful experience as this. The truck was in very poor condition for driving and I felt my safety in danger several times. This location needs to be reviewed by corporate before someone dies. That is only a small part. I called in because I have never picked up after hours and the man who picked up had a terrible attitude and I had to pry answers out of him on simply how to get the keys. He failed to recognize an uninformed customer and ended the call with "eh you'll be alright". I will NEVER use this location again.

RICHARD ASo I've used UHAUL several times. The fact that I literally always have a problem - not so much with the places I'm getting the UHAUL from - but with UHAUL itself is getting exhausting. The system always craps out while renting the truck. There's always some kind of issue. I was charged an extra 8 dollars because locations changed on me last minute. An extra 4 miles both ways And while I know $8 isn't a lot it's just more than I wanted to pay to move a couch. I understand trucks go down for maintenance and what not but why even show them available online if that's not the case? I called customer service and was told the estimated wait time was 5 minutes. 45 minutes later and the lady just notes in my file that I'm upset about the extra mileage I had to go. The lady at the storage facility I rented from was absolutely wonderful and I thank her so much for being kind and willing to help me. But the lady at the first place scoffing at me saying …well it's only 99 cents a mile was mildly off putting. Not everyone has an extra $8 budgeted for moving a singular piece of furniture. Not everyone's financial situation is the same and for UHAUL to just move my pick up location and not compensate for the extra mileage sucks.
