Absolutely terrible experience. I scheduled a truckshare rental for 10' truck at the canyon country location but reservation went through as in store pickup. I was not able to move that day so I rescheduled for the next day. When I arrived the second day my rental was blocked in by other U-Haul trucks. The store closed at 7pm. At 7:02 I tried to get the attention of the employees at the store but was ignored. I called the truckshare line and was disconnected right after explaining the issue. I called back and was told there was a 10' truck at another location, 20min in the opposite direction. I arrived at the arleta location and the pickup instructions/ lock box only had keys to a van. I realized this when the U-Haul app instructed me to confirm the truck condition with pictures. The app crashed and started the rental anyway. I called again and was given instructions to use a 15' truck. I was not able to upload any pictures prior to starting the rental because the app crashed as mentioned before. There were no moving blankets in the truck, and the cab had trash/coffee stains. I completed the short (~3hour move) and was given turn in instructions that were incorrect so I called again. I was promised a $50 discount. Once everything was turned in I was charged for the additional mileage due to U-hauls mistakes the day prior and day of, and had to pay for the extra gas needed to drive from and return to the alternate location. I was told the store management would reach out. It's been 48 hours and I have received nothing from them. So overall, I payed more money for the distance moved, spent more time moving, drove longer back and forth between the first location twice and second location once, paid more for gas for my vehicle and the rental, a dirty truck, lack of equipment I ordered, and spent ~6 hours total troubleshooting U-hauls mistakes. On top of that the truck I ended up receiving had a stiff transmission and made unsettling noises whenever I turned. Also I had to rent my temporary lodging for an additional day since I was unable to move for over 24hr beyond the scheduled time. All of this contributed to losing sleep and struggling at work the following day. This has been by far the worst vehicle rental and worst moving experience I have ever experienced. The rental should have been ~$100 and I ended up paying much more through the combination of lodging, has for my personal vehicle, gas for the truck, and additional charges for the longer distance. I would never recommend this service. I-haul could improve the next service by providing the next customer with the correct vehicle and equipment on the right day, at the right time, and for the right price.David B.

Website said open until 3:00 but office is closed on Saturdays. Office does not have rental dolly available but has a charge for rental on website. Phone call to number at location was not answered on first attempt. Lock box lock has to be fiddled with to open. Overall experience sucked.Gail D.
