This place accused me of not returning the truck 20 some days after the actual rental. Terrible location that is just running the uhaul brand and name to the ground. Will never rent here again.

I did not get registered in when I picked up the truck even though I was told it was all good. Uhaul kept calling all morning to fix it. I recieved 4 phone calls. Lots of waisted time when I was told everything was good when I left with the truck.

The $100 hold for using equipment takes way too long to reimburse. I still haven't gotten it back yet

ABSOLUTELY MY PLACE to rent UHAUL from. They are a professional, LOCAL "family feeling", fun, sincere establishment. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE A THING! If it ain't broke DON'T FIX IT Matt is the most patient man I've seen in action. And Danni (y ? Sorry/ Is a MACHINE! How she multi-tasks is BEYOND comprehension (hope I spelled that right) Anyway they ALL BLOW ME AWAY!! n kisses to Biscuit n Maverick

Friendly and efficient

It looked clean, but someone smoked in it recently, and the cupholders were disgusting. The person borrowing it after me is lucky because I lysoled all the surfaces of this stinky mess. The windshield wipers were so bad that I had to pull over to wipe it off by hand. So basically it wasn't safe to drive.

I was told when I needed to return it I could return it in the Vestal location. The next day I got a call since I delivered it on a Sunday and they told me that I had to bring it back to Owego's location and if I don't right now they would charge me over $200. Was not happy since I was told that I could return it to the Vestal location

The U-Haul we rented was very loud mechanically and spit and sputtered. For traveling 2 hours away we were unsure if we were going to make it to our destination. Also the people before us that rented it left a bag of clothes that had urine on them and the U-Haul was not cleaned or swept out.

I was supposed to pick up rental near my home and ended up having to travel to Owego and it set me back six hours for packing the uhaul. Very inconvenient for us.

if my reservation wasnt changed the night before i wouldnt have to drive 20 miles to get the truck so much for a guarantee on reservation i put in a month before

I ordered moving blankets and when I arrived I was told there weren't any. No prior notice so I could find them elsewhere. I had several pieces of furniture damaged because of this.

The people that I talked to at u Haul were unhelpful. I was on hold 3 different times trying to get my puck up to be Valu in Owego and no one at your company could help. Lacey Thorpe at Valu auto made it happen. She was polite and kind and efficient and very personable. The best customer service.

The truck was relatively new so yes it was well maintained. It did however have some of the previous renters stuff in it when we picked it up and so the truck smelled heavily of smoke. So first impression was disappointing and more work to be done before packing

I had to drop the trailer off myself. No one helped or checked me in. No paperwork or inspection. Terrible all around experience.

The process was quite confusing. The guy at the shop didn't even seem to know if the uhaul we needed was there. And then it wasn't showing up in the system so he had to make several calls. He was very nice, but the whole process seemed very disorganized.

My pickup locarion was changed the day before and we went to that location and they had no trailer for us. We went back to the original location in Vestal, Ny. They had no trailer for us. They did go to bat for us found us a larger unit back at the Owego location and modified the rental price for all our troubles. We did waste half a day because of this. The price adjustment went a long ways so I appreciate that

I scheduled a mobile pickup for 8:30 AM. I arrived at 8:20 ready to pick up, and U-Haul's website said that I had to wait until the location opened at 9 AM. A worker arrived who didn't know about U-Haul rentals and wouldn't give me the keys (not his fault, I blame his boss for not showing up or not communicating). After calling U-Haul I finally got my truck at 9:30, an hour late. Please get your act together.

trailer was ordered for downrown Binghamton and had to be tracked down thru Johnson City, Vestal, finally 1/2 hr away in Owego even w/ reservation #. The delay was signicant as tri[ involved driving to CA. Karen Green

I did the Uhaul 24/7 pickup and all went well til I had to take a picture of my license front and back to prove I'm me. The hills in the area must have blocked good data capture. By the time I had gotten into the truck and started driving down the highway, I got the message that the picture wasn't good. That was the only issue I had. The manager at Uhaul in Buffalo, NY, at 1400 Genesee St, straightened everything out. So both ends of my Uhaul trip went perfectly. Merci.

In the end, it all worked out. I just did not have the confidence that my truck would be ready on pickup day.... There seemed to be a lot of phone calls, unnecessary confusion at the location desk, etc. re: my rental.

I originally requested a truck that was 6 miles away and then was given the truck at a distance of 16 miles away. Adding 20 miles round trip and being charged for those extra miles.
