BRIAN G.This was not the location I was originally supposed to pick up the van I had reserved, that was a nearby location called American Wings, Inc. The first issue was that they left me the wrong keys in the lockbox. When we called UHaul, they told us to check every lockbox first and when that turned up nothing, they said we couldn't take the truck the keys did belong to because it was "rented out to another customer" and they "couldn't change that" from their end. This ended up being complete nonsense, but I'll revisit that soon. The customer service rep then sent us to this location where we could pick up a different van. The front office is difficult to locate but we were able to finally get the keys and start my move. When I returned hours later to return the van, I realized the customer service representative who had assured us she had changed our reservation to this van had not done anything of the sort. My app still thought we had taken the first van and would not let me complete the return process since the mileage was "less than the starting mileage". Sick to death of the issues, I called UHaul once more and the customer service rep told me that she could not change it because the van in my possession, which I had been told was under my account was actually checked out by a different customer and once again, they couldn't change that from their end. This is where I lost my temper and told the rep that they needed to figure it out because I was not staying there forever, I would happily leave the van with the keys inside and make it their problem. This is when the rep said she would call the customer who had checked out the van and sort out the reservations, so I guess they DID have the ability to change it from their end. She returned only a few minutes later to let me know she had fixed the reservations and I could leave the keys in the key drop off (which they never told me I could do before that point, I would have just done that from the start then), I then asked her to send me something confirming that I was allowed to leave the keys, just in case they tried to charge me more later for doing the return incorrectly. Overall, I was deeply unimpressed by UHaul and their partners. The location at 7500 NW 25th at least knew how to put the correct keys in the lockbox but they could use some better signage so people don't have to spend 15 minutes searching for their offices like we did. UHaul is awful; their customer service won't help you unless they're forced to and their third party partner American Wings, Inc at 3000 NW 79th Ave is entirely incompetent. I am furious with UHaul for making the day even more stressful than it already was and will be going out of my way to avoid them at all costs in the future.
Anne R.Employees were not friendly and welcoming. Equipment was a joke, cabin smelled like a pot house. The truck desperately needs some good maintenance and washed deeply.

JOFREEN B.My initial order was for a van in a separate office that was inappropriately assigned to me when the representative who could/would give me access was apparently on vacation on the day I needed the vehicle. While I'm glad I got to this location because the office was clean and the staff was professional and courteous, I wound up losing hours, some of which I spent sitting on a curb outside a closed office waiting for someone to give me a key at its designated opening time. The owner there insisted that they communicated with uhaul that this employee wouldn't be here for the holidays, so my initial order should've been canceled well ahead of time

DANIEL E.Agreed to take a shared load from an inconvenient location under the condition that I could pick it up @ 9:00am sharp to avoid driving at night. The load was not ready upon arrival. It was allegedly in the warehouse and and the representative misrepresented she did not know when I coming. Nonetheless I was assured it would only take 20 min to locate the load and put it in a trailer. I waited over 1,25 hrs and the load was still not ready despite repeated assurances.
Brad John M.Was asked to drive 14 miles out of my way to pick up this truck a day before I was scheduled. NOT in my plans! I UNDERSTAND demand is high …BUT: Vehicles need to be cleaned and better serviced. Needed to clean windshield inside and out myself to see safely at night. Vehicle needed new windshield wipers a while ago. Column shifter needs adjusting (jams when trying to shift from reverse to park). Come on folks… you charge a LOT for these rentals… I've been a customer for decades and I shouldn't have to leave a review like this one. My review is not negative on the pick up location - they were very professional and were simply the drop-off and pickup point for this vehicle. They are an independent storage company.

I buy an other ticket because I loose my fly and cost me a $169 just thanks uhaul for make me loos time and money.
RICHARD O.I have rented an U-Haul Van several times. Most of times it has been good or better but this time was unfortunately experience. I called to 1(800) 468 4285 and booked the Van I needed for Saturday, Oct. 23/2021. When I when to the location to pic up the Van, it was CLOSED because this locations doesn't open Saturdays. It was awful!!!! The stress, the loose of time and the late arrival to where I was going to with the Van. I had to call 1(800) 468 4285 again and a very nice lady helped me resolve the situation, but the damage that this situation caused me was very regrettable and negatively affected the result of my efforts for the day. It is unfortunate that my wife has to sit there without a seatbelt, with no recourse, due to the fact that there were no other trucks available.

Frank P.The truck that was given to me had a transmission that was in very serious disrepair. It could not shift gears effectively, and inevitably cost us almost double the gas it should have, and we drove 500 miles, so it was a very pricey issue. At times, it would just shake back and forth just from trying to get into gear.
KARISSA P.The truck has all the service lights on and all the beeps. We were afraid that the truck will not work or not turn on. I got photos and videos of all the service issues this truck has. This truck shouldn't be out on the road legally. Its a danger to the driver and the others in the street. Also, I put gas before coming back and you guys still charged me 3 gallons. Unfair.

NADIM A.The uhaul was clean but it would take a while to turn on. We had attempt many times before actually getting it to start. Also the cost comes out a bit pricey because of the Mileage fee yes it's $19,99 to rent the truck but add $67 on top of that depending on the miles you drive. When we went to out gas in the vehicle to return it, it wasn't letting us so we had to turn it in like that and that was another cost of $108 total. Just make sure you don't drive too much because the cost will go up tremendously.
