You don't want to hear what I have to say about this horrible experience with customer service, confirmation, switching pick up locations after it was confit by Kat. She says mind the general would confirm my reservation that day or within 24 hours. He didn't. I called that # which was given to me by Kat. I have the # but need to locate. The did pick up and I asked for the general manager. They gave me the run around connected me to Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, LI, finally the rep in LI cleared everything up & got me back on track with our original reservation. We had asked for a 15' truck To be picked @ closest U-Haul location. We were supposed to pick up in West Milford. All was good to go. 29,95 Plus 1,00 $ environmental Tax Ok, so that got F'd up. We went to pick up in Warwick yesterday morning, what a nightmare with trying to get the combination to unlock box for the key... Had to wait for store to open...9am But they opened @ 7 but U-Haul not until 9. I checked the door and it was unlocked. I tried to get key from box, problems with getting combo, took all these selfies.... Correct steps. I spent all morning on Wednesday trying to clear this up... 4 hours being bounced around. I was fried, absolutely fried, and completely furious & exhausted. I had to be at work @ 1pm. It was my first day. I got there but late. That's not good, not too late but late. I was late b/c on the screw ups by U-Haul. The 20' truck that we finally got had no insurance or registration in the vehicle, (M)was vey helpful. The Warwick location was fantastic customer service. She ran bank in to get registration & insurance, nothing. She said to use the bar code on inside of contract, If there was a problem.... Ok, so there is more.... The truck was horrible. So loud I could not here anything around me. It' was so loud I had to where ear plugs. It sound as if there was a hole in the muffler. Super pisee off. How could you let a truck go out like that. These are peoples lives your taking about. I will never use UHaul again. I will look into enterprise or Penske. What a nightmare. I want to speak with the manager that I was originally supposed to speak with after I made the origins reservation with Kat. Thank you. MargaretMargaret T.

The only guy that works the uhaul area it seems is the rudest person I've ever encountered. The only reason I have gone back to this location is purely because it's down the street. Be sure to make sure fees are not added after checking in online; specifically insurance once it has already been declined. Equipment was fine and pick up was fine. Concern was with additions to bill without being told and needing to contact uhaul to rectify.michael L.
I was told to contact ezpass to tell them that I would be using my ezpass on a vehicle other than the one on the account. After 40 minutes on hold,I was informed to just use my ezpass and be sure to clearly present it to the scanners.Steven K.
The trailer operated properly, but was very dirty. In addition, I picked up the trailer at 4:45 pm Saturday and was told that I would only be charged for one day if I returned it on Monday, as the location closed at 4 pm Sunday. Trailer AV 8373 needs to be repaired. It's so loud with squeaks. You can't bury the noise with music or the radio. Eat splitting. And the sliding door is bent. Very difficult to close without having to stand on the lever.Robert B.

When I picked up the truck the left front head light was broken. I did not have time to switch trucks. My contract stated that the location would close at 7:00pm. When I dropped off the truck at 6:00pm the location was closed. I was also surprise that the truck at 89 000 miles was not sure if the 150 mile trip would make it. Also the windshield wipers would not clean properly I'm glad it was not raining that day.John T.

They did not show me the dents on doors until i went back inside as i was ready to leave. When I told the Uhaul store rep he says they know and that I should not worry as they have white X marks in tape on them. I believe he should have pointed them out to me when he walk me to the truck so I would not worry about if I did not see them until I got to my destination. Also there was food wrapping and used coffee cut in the glove compartment and crumbs everywhere. Last but not least I had a issue over the amount of fuel in the tank which they would not accept. So I did get a good resolution by contacting U-Haul directly... However since this location is about 2 mines from my home I will continue to use them, especially since I know that Corporate Uhual stands up for the customers.Russell G.

Mileage verification process when picking up vehicle is flawed, mileage is printed on contract you have to sign before you go out to the vehicle? I was overcharged for 25 miles because the system pulls mileage from last contract not taking into account if vehicle was driven in between rentals. When I addressed this with the agent he just stood there with a stupid look on his face and said there's nothing they can do about it and I have to call U Haul corporate office to "try and see if they will help". Extremely poor customer service, I fault myself for trusting U Haul and Wadesons to do there job, I should have double checked your work.Erik Z.

The uhaul website, not wadesons, provided misleading information as to what services would be available at that location. The staff at wadesons went above and beyond to help me out. It took weeks to arrange for delivery of my uboxes, and then several attempts at correcting wrong delivery dates, canceling the delivery of 4 new empty boxes instead of my 4 loaded ones from storage, again correcting the delivery dates, and finding out from the driver that the date for the pickup of the empty boxes would be 3 days later than scheduled without any other notification. I received multiple notifications on the day of pickup, but when they changed the time slot I was never notified, and had to call over an hour after the end of the time slot I was given in an attempt to verify that pickup was still happening. The entire process, from start to finish was riddled with mistakes and errors that were fueled by misinformation on the uhaul website. I am sure that I am not alone in thinking that if it were made clear what locations provided what services at time of reservation much confusion and aggravation could be avoided by all.Dillon J.
Due to no fault of the location, we booked online and there was a lot of confusion about getting our pods delivered all at once because the location didn't offer this service but it wasn't clear in the website. Windshield wipers did not work properly and it was down pouring. I was told to get a van instead of a box truck after I specifically told him what I was putting in the truck and he told me it would definitely fit. Well it did not and I had to cancel picking up my couch.Kelly M.

Only stated it was not well maintained due to its age. Truck was in decent shape had over 115 000 hard miles . Truck worked but I believe it needs to be retired as it did struggle with hills and starts.Glenn M.

CONTRACT # 24156147 - picked up the van - was in a hurry - pre-booked - still took too much time to process - got van home - and wiped everything down - due to virus concerns - when I picked up the van there was no indication of any kind that the van had been cleaned or sanitized - so cleaning it at home - I noticed it was very dirty along with a not so pleasant smell. When I returned the van I was asked by Dave were there any problems with the van - I then said the van served it's purpose however it was very dirty and i am bringing it back cleaner than I picked it up. He then asked me if there was any exposure to COVID - which i found almost amusing as they do nothing to the van to get it ready to rent it safely especially in todays environment. I waited over an hour for my 9am rental . The gentleman at the counter was nice enough,However he didn't seem very concerned for my wait . I also was supposed to have a 15ft truck , I was told Friday they only had a 10ft after my already confirmed reservation,But there were 3 of them in the parking lot . Also when I called the 800 number to speak with someone I waited 40 minutes before someone picked up and transferred me right back to hold . This whole experience pushed our move back over 2hrs .Sarah C.
