It was raining when I did a mobile pickup. The location feature of the UHaul app did not work there. The key box was in an exposed location. Getting the key was made a bit more difficult for the lock being soaked and for being rained upon while opening the lock. The truck was found with 1/16th of a tank of gas and no pads as was expected as part of the order.

Brent MI had 1/8 gas in the tank, but I filled up the tank since I don't know how much gas will be needed. I returned truck with 7/8 tank full. I should get a refund .

Stuart BI made a reservation and was 5mins early, the place didn’t open until 45mins when they said they do, they had no key box to make it easier for people to use the app to get a key even when the app is suggested, so 45mins of waiting and calling with no answer, the business next door noticed me waiting outside which he proceeded at ask me why Iam there I explained and he called the business owner and he told him where the spare key to his shop was so he could give me the key to the Uhaul, so after 45mins late of a getting a key for reservation a made a day in advance, when opening the back of the Uhaul it was filthy from the previous user and I have pics to back it up, it was a horrible experience and I would never ever suggest anybody to go there for a Uhaul, I don’t knw anything else of that place of business and if they do good business but as far as getting a Uhaul it was the worst experience I have encountered with getting a Uhaul in the 15 years that I have Uhaul
Scott OI never received a formal invoice from UHaul or receipt for the amount paid so that I can expense it. Then 1 month later I see a charge on my card for $1,6 with no explanation. This has left me with a lot of distrust in your operations.
Ardo PThey were able to provide a truck on very little notice (1/2 hour) which was great, but the fuel tank was not full. It was a little over 3/4. So I had to put in about 6 extra gallons ($20) when filling the tank to return the vehicle.

Lori FThe pick up location was fine and staff helpful. The supply of equipment was very limited as compared to other nearby locations. They had only the vehicle I picked up and I had to make arrangements through central UHaul customer service to have an appliance dolly delivered to the location as they did not have any on hand 24 hour before my pick up time.

Edwin BThe van I rented was damaged, and was not functioning as I expected. I managed to complete what I needed to do, but was not happy with the condition of the van for what I paid for. I have escalated the issue with the van to the personnel at the location.

ARLINDO FI reserved to pick up a truck closer to my home and was sent to a place way out of my location. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE WAS HORRIBLE, THE PERSON WAS VERY RUDE AND THE TRUCK MADE A SCRAPING NOISE EVERYTIME I PUT THE BRAKES ON AND WAS DISGUSTING. YOU SAY THERE IS NO SMOKING BUT IT HAD BURN MARKS ALL OVER THE DOOR ON THE RUBBER PART NEAR THE WINDOW. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I ALSO REQUESTED THE DROP OFF TO BE CLOSER TO MY HOME AND WAS TOLD TO DROP IT OFF ABOUT 20 MILES FROM WHERE I LIVE. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Susan RWas scheduled to pickup truck in Natick on the 25th and the Natick location was closed that day. I took a cab to that location and had to take cab to framingham location after finding out location in Natick was closed. Why traffic set me up with that location is beyond me??? So wasted 3 hours of my time and was late hitting the road on my trip to Florida. This late start hurt my plans of hitting rush hour traffic in NYC which held me up for an additional 5 hours.
Stephen CNot cancel my order because I didn't have an email attached to it. Even though I was compensated $50 for it, I will not use your company again. I spent three hours on the phone and paid workers when I didn't have access to a truck. Absolutely awful.

KARIE HI booked in the marlborough location for a 2 day rental. U haul then diverted me to framingham to pick up the truck. Not impressed, then uhaul entered my rental as a one way one day rental with drop off in Northborough. Bad customer service, but nice truck
Enda MWhen I arrived to pick up my truck at the initial location in Ashland, MA all the trucks were out of service. The central office reserved me a truck 18 miles further away which I used for my move but I learned later on I was driving the truck on a flat tire which is not safe. I had to follow up on my own time to get a $50 dollar refund for the reservation mishap. UHaul should have just initiated this refund without inconveniencing me. Not a great experience. I would be hesitant to use UHaul again.

Donna JOne of the quicker site to rent from. I didn't have to answer the same questions I answered when I made the reservation online, and the clerk knew how-to do his job (no glitches to stump him, which is quite common).

don tThe pick up experience is so bad. I booked a van on Saturday 10am. I used the mobile app to check in. Step 6 is to pick up the key from the representative. However, the location is closed and no one is there. I checked the official website ant it said it shall open at 9:30am. I called the customer service and no one answered phone. I waited there 30 mins and no employee came. I tried online chat to ask for help and no agent answered me. The last thing, I call the location phone number and your employee told me the location will remain closed and he left the key in the van. How terrible this experience for pick up process. Who would even know to call the location phone number since there is no one there? And even worse, your customer service line 1-800-468-4285 no one answered the phone. Extremely bad experience.
Mincan CPlaced a reservation for a 17' truck . When I arrived I was told that there was no 17' truck and they had no vehicles for me. I was handed a 1-800 number and told to call and see what they could do. No effort was made to find another truck by this office.2 hours later i found a truck 10(it was not enough for me)I rent vehicles in u haul every month, I always have problems, I moved to penske and I'm so happy with them, uhall never again.
Rafael sMirror was broken on the can I rented. That's safety issue. Van like that would not pass state inspection. How can you rent it out to customers?! I reserved van over the phone. And specifically asked for ram van, cause in regular vans my stuff would not fit. I asked her three time if she is sure that this location has the van I needed. She assured me they do. They didn't. What a surprise. Needed to get much bigger truck, and pay much more. It's not locations fault it's U-Hauls fault.
oles M10 ft trucks do not have ramps so get a dolly. Also tall items like refrigerator cannot be stood upright. UHaul trucks have always been reliable. Make sure you get the right size truck for your job.
Wayne WReceived the truck with an empty tank. Less then 10 miles on the DTE meter. Outside of the truck was very dirty. Back was not swept out. Mechanically the truck was in very good condition. Also did not receive a copy of my rental contract.
