He was able to fix everything over the phone and made the pickup happen for me. My original pickup was delayed when the truck I ordered wasn't available and my pick up location was changed to a location way out of my way, delaying my moving by a day and making it where I didn't have all the help I needed. The gentleman who helped me here made it so much better.

MICHAEL S.The person that I picked up the truck from was slow. Mostly because he was talking on a Facetime call throughout the entire check-in process. When I dropped the truck off at the same location it was the same person. This time he was on a personal phone call the entire dropoff process. At the end I asked for a receipt, he said it would be emailed to me. It is now 5 hours after I dropped the truck off and still no emailed receipt. Just a bad experience.

joseph B.The owner was on the speaker phone blaring in the background. Sounded like someone was being walked through a bitcoin tech support process. I went to get into the truck and noticed the driver side door ajar. When I 1st got in and sat down I sat in a puddle of water. The gas gage looked almost on E, it was well below 1/4 tank full. My trip was below 18 miles. Before I returned it I refueled it up to a 1/4 tank. I returned the truck in 2 hours instead of the planned 6 hours. The owner said I was good to go and gave me a thumbs up. Cool! About an hour later I get my receipt emailed to me and it's almost double than what I was told. I looked closely and they charged me $48 for a fuel fee and 4 gal of fuel. I called the owner and explained what it said, it took 25 minutes just to find my order (this isn't a busy location). I told him I put more gas in the truck than when I picked it up. He agreed to refund me. He would do so and call me back. I waited. He never called. I drove back to the store. He apologized and said he couldn't refund back to my card and would give me cash. I was fine with that. But before he refunded me he argued trying to say that there was a 1/4 tank when I picked it up. Absolutely not. He said it was U-haul that made the extra charge not him. It was out of his control but he'd refund me cash. I told him either way it's unethical. He gave me my $48 and I left. Honestly, I didn't care about the other issues leading up to the $48 fuel fee. It wasn't that big of a deal. The owner was initially friendly. I would've gone back and used the service again. But now in the grand scheme of things it really was an overall awful experience.

Robert T.Store associate should Confirm fuel level prior to asking customer to sign off on it. I agreed to 1/2 full tank, but actual level was 3/8ths. I returned it with 1/2 tank to avoid any potential additional charges.
RICHARD G.The U-Haul app did not work for drop off either, so I wasted about 30 mins trying to redo the drop off. After failing, I talked to an employee there and they told me I was good, and to put my keys in the drop off. I did, then the next morning it still showed me that I was using the truck. I needed to call U-Haul CS and they talked to wash works who finally put through the order and closed out the rental. It was more of a headache than I expected and the app needs work. Instead of being contactless, I needed to go into both locations which defeated the purpose of the app and just wasted more time.
JAMES M.Told me I couldn't leave it there because there was no room. I told him I was going to just disconnect the trailer in the middle of his lot because this is where I was told to bring it. After about 5 minutes of back and forth he finally moved a van and had me put the trailer where the van had been parked.
