If Uhaul Corporate is going to switch drop off locations internally. Communicate with the customer before drop off date. It was found that management made a switch on the app and I already had turned it in to my contracted location Wauconda. We wasted over an hour trying to figure out what was going on so we don't get charged. We didn't want to call uhaul because you will charge an additional $20 just to talk to someone. Fortunately your pickup and supposed drop off locations were amazing and worked with us. Good job Island Lake IL. Great team! Wauconda we have rented for a long time and they were closed although great team there as well.

Zach BU-Haul system was down at the time and owner knew who I was and what I was renting and told me to com back when system was up. 2-3 hours later I got my U-Haul after getting the wrong key. Time was not adjusted for me

Tiffanie WI live in Barrington. I drove to Wauconda for my Uhaul after Barrington Uhaul said they were unable to rent me Uhaul because it was theit first day starting the job & spoke nor understood any english at all. Several Uhauls were available for rent.But Barrington UHaul said sorry no english cant help you.I called tWauconda Uhaul. Theresa said come by and provided me with excellent, thourough CS. Good at her job snd an asset to your company Ty, appreciate Theresa's help at Wauconda U-Haul

kenneth tAttendant was of no help. I asked to switch to a smaller truck and he said he didn't know how and didn't offer any solutions. I ended up calling U-Haul myself to get it switched. He also made a couple sarcastic remarks while I was there like "That was a real hassle." I should have said , "Yes for me the customer who had to do everything. You just say there and waited without offering any help." I will not use this location again!!
Kevin BI placed my order online for the closet rental to me. I used the guidelines to select my vehicle. Pickup was easy. The employee was helpful. The truck worked and return was a breeze. It's rental a small Haul, it SHOULDN'T be complicated.

Pamela DI could of sworn that when I rented the truck from the U-Haul web site it mentioned that I should not put gas in the truck when returning it. I did not, and got slammed with a $30 fee and overcharged for more gas than I used.
Troyt VThe online check in and return process was not very easy and the site wouldn't download properly and it kicked us out several times. Also the driver's seat in the truck was broken so it could not be adjusted and was challenging to drive.

Darci KThe trailer lights were not working properly at pickup and it was blamed on our vehicle when we found out if was a bad wiring connection on the car hauler itself and repaired it at our expense. It also had a bent/broken tire strap as well that was very difficult to work properly.

Robert WI was an hour late to pick up my truck, but the amount of trouble I had to go through to get it didn't make sense. The system kept timing out when I tried to log in, I wasn't able to pick up my truck even though I was a little bit late, and then I modified the reservation to a later time and that allowed me to pick up the truck. When I returned the truck, another person was having the same trouble I was having.
Christopher BThis was a convenient location for us, but...A Uhaul sign at the place to turn, at the front of the driveway, coming off Rand Rd would really help to show, that's where you turn into. We almost drove past it.
