This was probably one of the worst experiences I had with Uhaul. I will be following up with an email with photographs. First off, the pick up location; I had to go from the alley way and into a dark store front to pick up the keys - the person was friendly enough and processed my order quickly, but the environment wasn't the most inviting. Pick up the vehicle and it was dirty and dusty; understanding that the truck was just dropped off and I had asked for an earlier pick up which I was happy to have. The drop off on Monday afternoon was very aggrevating; the store was closed and I had no other choice but to ask the mechanic next door, who grabbed the keys with me, rolled up the same garage door where I entered to pick up the vehicle on Saturday, and just threw the keys on the desk. When reviewing my receipt later on that day, I noticed that I was charged for fueling, the fuel in which the vehicle was checked out with was not 1/4 tank as indiciated, it was 1/8, and that is what I left it at, after $90 spent in fuel. henry Y.I would, however, there needs to be some improvement. i.e., clear instructions as to where the rentee can get the keys and where to return. Also, as for some people, it may also help to inform them of what gas to fill the vehicle. Those simple details can make a huge difference. Overall, I've had no issue with the vehicle and owner was polite. Small improvements on the overall process can boost the business. :)
Ivan M.The facility was closed. I had to call the help line and the facility to get someone to come give me the key. It was my first time using the mobile service so it was very confusing. I feel all the verification could have been done when I made the reservation. It took way longer than I thought getting my rental. It was difficult getting the fuel back to were it was pre pick up. It'd would have been easier if the tank was full so I just had to fill it after my use.

LAUSANNE Y.Parking lot was unplowed after a snowfall and several vehicles had difficulty exiting the lot. Everyone was sliding and nearly slid into other vehicles. There was no washer fluid in the vehicle, and the roads are full of salt and sand so a clean windshield is essential. That was so dangerous! The truck was covered in several inches of snow and there was no scraper or way to clean it off prior to driving for the safety of other vehicles on the road. And lastly it was parked on a road that had been plowed so it was behind a bank of 1,5 feet of snow. Very poor experience and we won't be back to this location.
DENISE P.The yard was not maintained re: snow and ice so it took a while to get the truck out of the yard. Left the yard with one tire registering low. Most of the day there was no heat in the truck. We tried using every heat setting possible.
EVELYN A.This was the worst experience I have ever had renting from uhaul. First, I wanted the truck for early Saturday morning, but I wouldn't be able to pick up the truck until 10:00am which was too late, so I rented it from 4:00pm Friday until 1:00pm Saturday (less than 24 hours), but uhaul was charging me for 2 days, Jerry (the renter) said he would straighten it out when I brought back the truck, so I went with it. When I told him I planned on leaving the truck there overnight and pick it up early in the morning, he suggested to get insurance as it is a very high crime area, so I spent the $15 on insurance. In my calculations it should be $19,99 for the truck, $15 for instance and a few small fees. Next went to pick up the truck, I just about couldn't get it started because someone had tried to punch out the ignition, also the window button for the drivers side window was broken, and the truck was very dirty. I took a picture of the damage and the speedometer when I got in the truck for proof. I went about my things, cleaned the outside of the truck and filled up with gas, which cost me $8,29 (this should tell you how much I actually drive the truck), and then dropped it off at 1:00pm Saturday. When I got home I had received a final invoice from uhaul for $179.36. Looking at the invoice I see they had jumped me into a higher kilometre category, because it said I put 323 kilometres on the truck, I'm pretty sure he misread the speedometer and it was in fact only 23 kilometres, but of cause I forgot to take a picture of the dash when I left the truck. I drove the truck from his shop to my house, which is maybe 7 kilometres, filled it with stuff, then drove to the dump, maybe 3 kilometres, and then to the car wash, gas station and back to his shop, maximum another 15 kilometres, so pretty sure I'm right about the 23 kilometre guess. I have emailed Uhaul, I have phoned Uhaul to be put on hold for over an hour with no answer. I have phoned Western Heating twice and left a message, but nobody has responded. I'm getting very frustrated as I feel the total for this bill should be $100 less, but I can't get a hold of anyone to talk to. I'm thinking about contacting my credit card company to put a hold on the payment, but thought I would give someone a chance to respond, I have also waited to put a review on Google about my experience, but the time is running out. MANFRED M.My rental was meant to be returned to this location but the office was closed for over an hour. Tried to call the office number twice. 1. For an inquiry I had and 2. When I got to the office to return the truck but the staff there was tremendously rude, arrogant and had no courtesy at all. I was also hoping to get a refund for the blankets that I did not get and still charged in my invoice but I wasn't able to get any help at all even after speaking to a u-haul customer service staff. What a horrible experience!

FAHIM A.After my truck breaking down in yhe middle of nowhere i had to rent a truck to drive back to the interior BC to pickup my camper. The Uhaul pickup that i rented was brand new only a few months old and had loads of power and very comfortable. The rental and drop process was super easy and conveinient. I'm very happy with the overall experience and i will recommend to others!

There was no drop box lock, no trolly which I asked for. 45 minutes to figure out getting my truck as the person before me couldn't end her rental because the app was not working( I checked for her and it was not).when went to drop off my keys it said to drop it in the black box and use the lock.. there was no lock. Get this location sorted out! I enjoy using U-Haul, but honestly after that locations experience…

LISA G.The store that you rent your vehicles from you might want to phone the store before you go there as I had a problem the owner of the store was not there when I showed up to get my vehicle and I had to wait around for 1 hour, for me to get the keys for the vehicles, when he did show up he said if he was not their then to just put the key into the mail slot which was good as I did drop it off early.

Prabhat S.Instructions for the lockbox was written in horrible English. The keys were stuck in box. The box had sharp edges and cut my hand. The van had burnt out turn signals. Bottles were stuck under the passenger seat. App was annoYing. I showed up at the correct time but process took forever. Why not do the validation at time of booking?

We could only get one lock box open, which was to the wrong vehicle. We tried to open the second box to no avail. We ended up taking the other vehicle ( that we were able to unlock for the keys) Very unprofessional and unreliable. Never going to that location again.
