This location had an excellent staff. The two men I dealt with were both sharp, customer focused people who made the process so easy and fast that I will be using U-Haul more in the future. It didn't used to be this easy. Many thanks to the great team members at this location.

I dropped off the truck to the kid behind the desk. I asked if there were any additional charges. He said no. Then he asked if he could email the receipt to me, and I said yes. Then I got a bill for $69.76.

I made an initial reservation with U Haul for a 17’ truck online, which I later changed to a 15’ truck. On Thursday, May 30, I walked into the Westlake location I was supposed to pick up my truck on Sunday, to confirm the size, pick up time, etc. on this Thursday, I changed my truck back to a 17’, with the rep at the store, and in addition, he also changed my pick up to “in store”, versus online check in. He confirmed this with me in person, and told me to be there at 8am Sunday. I arrived today, Sunday, June 2 at 7:50am. I waited in front of the store until 9am (I waited one hour) for someone to arrive. During this time, there were also 4 other customers waiting, and I called your customer service number for help. They were unable to locate a store rep for this location, although the website also showed a 8am open time. At 9am, the rep showed up. He had “no 17’ truck available for me”, and gave me a 15’ truck, despite my argument. This then made my one trip move into a 2 trip move. All in all, these are my issues that a $50 offered credit will NOT solve: ? I paid movers $75 an hour for an additional 3 hours, one they spend waiting for me while I waited for the store to open, and another 2 on the second trip that was required. This totaled an extra $225. ? I also was forced to pay double mileage for these 2 trips, as the one trip with the 17’ truck I was promised, would have totaled 50 miles. I ended up paying more than double that mileage. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I need someone to contact me with a satisfactory resolution to all of this ASAP. If not, I will be forced to contact the BBB, and whomever else I deem necessary. I tried to speak with someone in your traffic department today who hung up on me, after telling me that a “$50 credit is all he can do”.

The only thing I could see that could be added is on more rep. in the office checking in and out clients because the one guy there was amazing; however 2 would have been helpful. Other then this I don't have any complaints.

Customer service was great once I arrived to pick-up. Setting up my account online was a nightmare and it didn't seem like I needed to do any preparation prior to checking In. Good idea: take video and pictures of rental.before and after vehicle is in your position.

I was not happy that when I returned the truck, the mileage was not checked and I had declined insurance, yet was charged for both the insurance and extra mileage not used. That is not good!

Subordinate employee really tried to help. Trailer interior was not clean. It contained wood shavings, sawdust, metal shavings, numerous screws, and black road dust / dirt. Trailer was hooked up so chains drug on ground. One wheel brake was dragging, drastically deducting fuel mileage. Additionally, when trailer brakes were applied, trailer braked radically and unevenly causing trailer to swerve. Overall not inpressed!!

15' Truck was generally clean, however it was very old. 100K+ miles with definite maintenance needs. Fan for the A/C was stuck on High and could not be set to a lower speed. Many air gaps in the cab's weather insulation made for a very noisy ride.

Fast and easy.. I reserved online and was there less than 5 minutes to pick up. The man was super friendly and quickly got me out and the ck-in was very quick!!! Will definitely rent from here again!!!!

I spoke to the guy working about the fuel and how I put fuel in and the gauge didn't move and he said he knew and not to worry. I get my bill on email and he charged me $30. I will be telling others to rent elsewhere.

Scheduling department messed up the schedule and failed to inform the customer of the changes. I had to show up to confirm my reservation to avail the pickup, only to put that scheduling had changed pickup location and timing without informing us by 6:00 pm as stated on Uhaul website. Hence we should be entitled to a refund.

The U-Haul truck was very dirty. The truck battery was dead. I had to get a jump start which burned some of my time. The morning attendant was super helpful.

A basic Uhaul / storage center that was made above average by the gentleman I dealt with there. He was all about service and made the experience pleasant. In addition, this location has much longer operating hours than any around it.

The guy at the window was "training" a 9 or 10 year old boy in how to operate the new app. I had to repeat my information twice without the guy stating having a problem with the computer or his app. He had my DL in his hand, with all my info. Just the sign in process tool over 15min and I was the only customer at the time. No hi, no thank you, no apology for taking so long. The check out process was the same. Not rude, just like you don't exist.

The front desk person was friendly. But I ordered bulk moving pads/blankets with my reservation (weeks prior to my move) and was never told Uhaul was completely out corporation wide. I would have ordered elsewhere had I known but they didn't tell me until I picked up the truck. It was raining that day too, really necessitating my need for moving blankets. Also, the truck was very low on fuel and completely trashed in the back (mud, leaves, debris of all sorts); like someone just moved all kinds of dirty yard equipment. I had to rapidly get fuel and then rapidly clean the back of the truck to the best of my ability before the paid moving helpers arrived. I will never use Uhaul again.

The location is very good and so is the manager. I did not like at all the hard line that U-Haul has on their website regarding insurance. Basically, you either pay for our insurance or you give us a blank check for anything that occurs and we get to decide if we are going to take your money. It shift 100% of the problem to the customer. .

Try to find a way to alert people that this facility is located on the opposite side of the large building that houses Jafra. ...and get a sign that is visible from the street. You also seem to need help at this location. One person doesn't seem adequate to handle all at once.

Was told over the phone that I would only have to pay $20 if anything if I returned the vehicle the following morning before 11am. I arrived at 10am that morning with the vehicle and the front desk man claimed his hands were tied and he had to charge me for a FULL day regardless of what that last clerk states, there were even notes left that transcribed my conversation with the clerk the night before. So I essentially paid $300 for 1 day’s use.
