The TV gave me no paperwork, asked for no signatures, and hooked up the trailer SO low, it dragged and bottomed out our entry trip. Who approved this office location? It's a disgrace compared to the LA Ave, Simi location that I requested. It was embarrassing to have such a poorly attached trailer.

It's waayyy in the back of Newbury Park, and not very convenient. I'll go to Agoura next time for better convenience and more professional service.

I left it with a bit more gas than I picked up. I though it was a requirement to atleast have it filled 3/4 of the way. That's was my understanding this whole time. And the online check in and check out process was faulty. And didn't even let me process either.

Eduardo L.I have used this Lawrence Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA location for several rentals. The owners/operators are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and always easy to reach by phone if needed. The location is easy to access and the trucks/trailers are easy to maneuver in this large and uncrowded parking lot. Always a pleasant experience.

Christine F.The 20' moving van was not returned to the location we were advised to pick it up. I called the SLO main office and they reserved us a new moving van just 1 mile from our location. The van was not very clean and the monitor on the dash said the vehicle needed an oil change. I must say the customer service was very GOOD!
James M.I rented the moving truck online and picked it up at the location in Thousand Oaks. Very easy process and the employee was polite and professional. Employee advised me (as email receipt does) to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas you left with. In my case I left with 1/4 tank of gas. I stopped at a nearby gas station prior to return and filled the tank to above 1/4 tank. I returned the truck and different employee was polite and professional. Very easy process we did not inspect the vehicle together and he said he would send an email receipt, which he did. I later checked my credit card and found the amount of the rental was nearly double of what I agreed to. I researched via the email receipt (a bit confusing how it is broken down with additional charges) and saw that I was charged fees for gas and the employee noted I returned the truck with only 1/8 tank of gas. This was very incorrect. I called the next morning and employee was polite and reversed the gas charges with really zero argument or conversation about it. I have read other reviews for this location and I am not the only person to later realize I was charged for gas when I returned the truck as agreed upon with the same amount of gas I left with. I really hope this was just as simple error on the employees part but also have to wonder if this is their way of just fraudulently adding extra charges to customers credit cards with most probably not even noticing. This is very concerning and it is criminal in the State of Ca to do so. Thank you for reading.

Justice K.I had an awful experience with U-box. My box was late so I decided to pick it up from a different location so that I could get my stuff. I waited 3 1/2 hours for them to hook up my box to the van that I had to rent because my car cannot tow. Keep in mind that it is 107 degrees in Texas. After waiting for 3+ hours, I take my box back to my apartment which is 35-40 minutes away. When I arrive home, I find out that they gave me the wrong box!! Completely unacceptable. They then made me drive back to return that box and get mine which is adding money to my rental van and completely wasting my time. My box pick up time was 9am, I didn't get MY box until 4:30pm.... so to recap all the things they did wrong 1. My box was late 2. I waited for 3+ hrs for the box to be put on a trailer in 100+ degree heat. 3. Gave me the wrong box 4. Made me fix their mistake and bring the box back. All that they did to rectify the situation was take off a few dollars for the extra miles I had to drive. I want my money back!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.
audrey E.Not the best moving experience as I get a call 7 am on my moving day that my truck is unavailable in my location. (3 miles max) I requested the $50 dollars guarantee. Representative didn't even offer and I had to request it. the closest available vehicle is 16 miles away (32 total -there and back) I have no choice but to agree. When I get there I don't even have half tank filled (photo proof -time and dated) when I return I left it closer to half line but not quite and then I get charged approximately $18 dollars worth of gas. I feel that I was given the short end of the stick and would like full reimbursement. If you'd like proof i would gladly provide. I look forward to your response. Thank you. Margaret S.The alignment on the truck was so messed up that the steering wheel was 45 degrees off, so bad that I needed to shift my head to see the speedometer. Seriously, the 12"00 clock position was at 3:00. That really sucked when I'm driving a 20' truck and I'm not used to driving such a big vehicle. I had no idea how fast I as driving given the steering where was obstructing the speedometer unless I moved my head 45 degrees. When I reported that to the employee, he couldn't care less. Luckily, I didn't get into an accident or get a ticket for speeding. I have rented several trailers from U Haul over the past years, but I'm not sure I will rent a truck from you in the future, let alone a trailer since I'm not convinced that you maintain your equipment. So, you asked for feedback, what are you going to do to make me want to rent ANYTHING from you in the future and make good on this bad experience? Ron

YEHONATHAN B.When we came to pickup the truck we booked a week in advance they didn't have it and tried to give me a cargo van instead but just gave away a different size truck to a walk in. Then I couldn't actually get the truck until a day later and they didn't have it again! Had to wait two hours after pickup time to get it. The guy didn't even apologize, just acted like it was no big deal. For anyone moving. You know how if you're late moving out it costs money. So this was a huge problem.

They need to be held accountable for the damages done to my belongings. The person we spoke to was very rude and condescending and has still failed to get us the information needed to submit a proper claim.
