Truck rear bumper was damaged. Also i was told I was able to pick up truck in Brandon. Then they sent me an hour away to Virden. They also did not call and offer any resolutions to try to ease the tension that comes along with driving an hour away to pick up a Truck, and an hour back in a personal vehicle. Also they never offered to pay even for the mileage to get the rental truck from Virden back to Brandon where it was to be used. I am thoroughly disappointed in the customer service and personally will not be utilizing this service in the future. I also will not be recommending uhaul to any family and friends.

The pick up and drop off locations were the only part of this transaction we have no complaints about. Our issues are as follows; We first reserved a 20ft truck to be picked up at the Weyburn Sparkle Super Wash Uhaul Dealer to be picked up Sunday the 28th of April. We spoke with the lady and young man at the Weyburn location no less that 4 or 5 times in the few days leading up to the Sunday pick up, she even called us back more than once. On the Sunday, we arrived 20 minutes early because of very bad blizzard conditions. We waited and waited and waited. Coming to 11am we started making calls to your repulsive call centre representatives. These two women we talked to were extremely unhelpful. They tried to tell us that uhaul didn't have our proper phone number or email even though the woman from the car wash place called us at least twice on my husband's cell which is the number on the reservation. So that representative of yours flat out lied to us. They then put us on a long hold and told is that our reservation was actually set for pick up in Virden Manitoba for 1:30 PM. Which we never would have agreed to because it's too far and the time did not fit our time frame. Not to mention they told us we reserved a 15ft truck and 5x8 trailer. We never would have done that either because that we knew that wouldn't be enough space. So what this power tripping little snot did was change our reservation to whatever she chose because the time frame of what time it was at the time of the phone call and the time of the pick up was almost exactly the amount of time we would have needed to drive there from where we were without taking the road conditions into effect. Given no choice even though the truck we reserved was sitting right in front of us in Weyburn we had to back track the hour in the blizzard through Estevan (where we were moving from) and another 90 minutes to Virden Manitoba in the blizzard! AND there was also a 15ft truck and stupid small trailer sitting in Weyburn too. We felt like the your lying representative just wanted to make us go even farther out of our way just because she could. The extra milage we had to go in our truck and your truck cost us almost $200 more than the pick up in Weyburn simply due to the distance and weather conditions. Your truck was on empty by the time we reached our house in Estevan. So with that little truck cab included, little trailer, our half tonne box and backseat and our son's car all loaded to the roof we still had to leave behind at least $1000 worth of belongings because we didn't have enough room. We must have spoke to at least 6 or 7 of your representatives and only ONE was helpful. An elderly lady I spoke to about dropping the truck off. We originally set the drop off to be the uhaul place that is 180 metres from our new house. But we were told we would have to drive this truck to North Battleford. Which we flat out refused to do. I was very disappointed to find out that my deposit was not put back on my and would receive a check in the mail after waiting a week i called only to be told it would be 4 to 5 weeks that is poor customer servtce as i was not told this in the first place and also found it strange that it wasn't returned to my card.Other than that all ok.
