Absolutely HORRIBLE online reservation and checkin process. Never Again!
Jonathan PYour app is in serious need of help. The only issue I had was with your app freezing up and simply not working properly. The location where I got the the truck was phenomenal. They are great. The guy who checked me in, went out of his way to help me.

Jasmine GUnfortunately we did not have a good experience with this Uhual location. I made a reservation to pick up the truck at 7am, which was confirmed by the uhual representative that called the day prior to the pick up date. When I arrived to the location at 7am no one was present, I called the number provided and the individual stated that my reservation was changed to 8am and that no one would be there till then. Though an inconvenience I waited till 8a, the time I was told someone would be there to help me, 8 comes around still not sight of an employee. I call back the number a few mins later and was told that the employee would be there in 2 minutes. About 5 mins pass I call the number back and the individual on the phone, who at this point was upset that I was upset that no one had arrived yet, began stating that he could cancel the dispatch if I had a problem. Obviously canceling was not an option since I needed the truck and especially after at this point waiting an hour and a half after the initial time I had reserved for. Someone finally shows up at nearly 8:30 and hands me keys to a truck that ultimately does not start, I wait some more time for another truck to be provided at this point is is nearly 9 am when I receive the truck and go on my way. After many years of utilizing igual I have never had such a terrible and unprofessional experience.

Adrian PI feel like I'm being charged a hefty wrong drop off fee when the uhaul the truck got dropped off was on the literal other side of a building. It was an easy mistake on the part of my authorized driver. I'm extra confused because the signage isn't the clearest, it was dark, and I returned the truck with more fuel than what it started at. When I first got the truck I walked around the neighborhood for ten minutes with my suitcases in hand trying to locate it. There are trucks on various streets in the neighborhood. It was an honest mistake, but hopefully one that didn't incur a lot of effort on the uhual employees time considering the truck was less than a block away. I can't be the first person to make this mistake in this neighborhood considering there are three different uhual joints within a minute of a walk.

Laura MI was pleased with how easy drop off was. There was not a representative there but a phone number no the front door. The representative was responsive and helpful. The only concern I had/have was not having proof that I dropped it off other than a picture I took.

LUIS RFirst of all I did not like the area were is located. And doing everything online is too complicated. is much better where you can go and a live person can help you.
Jose SI would say that the location was very easy to hook up the trailer. The attendant was great. He helped us hook up the trailer quickly and we were in and out very fast. The trailer had been swept put and clean inside. There were a few dings on the trailer itself, but nothing that was worrisome. The "traffic" department texted AND called to re-direct me to another location since the one that I had picked online didn't have a trailer. They did so in ADVANCE of me picking up the trailer and all issues were worked out prior to the date of PU.

Sam HThey charged me for 2 days while I needed it for just 1 day and returned the trailer around the time I picked it up and just 28min late. Seriously you would charge for 2 days just for less than half an hour late!! They also charged me for Safe Tow which I never ever include with my uhaul rent. I talked to the owner of that location multiple times , he was just blaming uhaul system for that and he has nothing to do with it. The owner of that location has no ethics and knows very well how to rip off customer's pocket. No wonder why they have all these bad reviews. I wish I would check their reviews before booking them.

dustinn lWas located in a bad part of town. It was an old dilapidated store and we could not understand the young man who helped us. He was not very friendly or helpful.

Christopher Rmy left brake light was not working and they didnt want to fix it , i’d recommend sending a uhaul representive down there to straighten them people out, couldve had my load rear ended or got pulled over and gotten a ticket Thank God it didnt happen but it could happen to someone in the future
Marcus MWhen making the reservation, I chose "in person" for the pick up (vs. using the app, or online), but once there to pick up, I was still asked to use the UHaul website for checking in, etc. Also, I had reserved a dolly and had assumed it would be in the truck already, but it was not and I did not discover this until beginning to load up the truck (half hour after leaving the Uhaul location). I had to send someone to make an extra trip back to Uhaul location to get the dolly.
Kenneth KOnce again, this WAS NOT the drop off location that I had selected. The location of this drop off point was unsafe. It was not well lit and there wasn't clear instructions stating where to park the 20 ft U Haul. the parking lot was small and difficult.

MICHAEL lMy truck was not reserved the rep told me he gave my truck I reserved to someone else. I ended up with a smaller truck which caused me to have to make multiple trips moving! Also, he was not welcoming he kept making comments about making sure I returned the truck as if I was going to steal it. I asked him what type of person did he think I was. Also retuned the check in clerk was rude! I will never rent there again and would not recommend anyone to rent from them! Disappointed is an understatement
Shapale WNo communication about mileage and gas level so that I could verify, no printed contract showing these details which mean that I was stressed about it the whole time wondering if I would be charged extra. No walkthrough of the vehicle, just handed me the key and sent me out the door. Definitely not ideal for a customer experience.

LaConya DI tried several times to call them over the course of 3 days and got no answer. When I went to drop off there was no one there. At the advice of the people at the Sherwood, AR location where I picked it up they recommended doing a self check in on the app. I did that and was about to leave the parking lot when someone pulled up (blocking me in) and rudely told me I'd have to hook it back up and take around to the back side of the building. They offered no assistance with this (I had never hooked one up myself) leaving me to figure out and gave me no information on where in the back lot it needed to be left. The drop off location was a huge point of frustration/disappointment in what was an otherwise great experience from U-Haul.

jason gDO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I will not even mention the place itself. Let me mention just the service side only. When I got there the guy was on a call, when he pulled my 29,95 rental up he told me 95.00. I said no it's not. He told me it was mandatory for him to cover 30 miles up front and then unused would be reimbursed. I told him, that was not accurate because I had rented another unit LITERALLY the day before. I live less than 1,5 miles away and the storage unit I was taking the items to was less than a mile away. He then calls his boss on the phone who tells me that's how they have to charge and I told him no I entered 6 yesterday. He tried to tell me no he did it for 30 and I told him that was not correct at all. I had my reservation for a total of 24 hours. I was about 45 mins late getting there and then with the back and forth I left after 12:30 and brough the rental back at 1:00 the next day. He went in and charged me DOUBLE on the rental, the dolly, and the insurance for the 1 hour "late" which was still within the full 24 hour rental I reserved for. The worse thing about it, he didn't mention this at all, I just got a receipt hours later. I will be disputing this charge.
STERLING DThis is my new go to for Habitat Restore purchase pickups because it's about 2 miles away, I received professional, courteous customer service and they had last minute availability when 3 other locations didn't. I paid for my appliance Saturday at 4:15pm and planned on picking it up Monday, surprisingly I was able to secure a 4:30pm reservation and enjoy my purchase at home the same day. The moving supplies were reasonably priced and the truck's gas mileage wasn't bad.
ROSS TExceptional customer service, the manager patiently assisted me after closing time. The truck had great gas mileage and there's ample room in the truck designated lot for fast pickup and easy return.
Jan TTeach staff to assist with Uhaul pick ups. The reception in that area was bad and it took far too long to connect to check out the truck. Also, I was supposed to be contacted by a representative and never was.
SHAKEEL PThe guy who rented out the truck was VERY UNHELPFUL! Upon arrival the other guy had a stank ass attitude basically bc his co-worker FAILED TO DO HIS JOB PRECISELY by just giving simple instructions on dropping off! Never will I deal with "These People" again.
LaKisha SThe location is in an old run down building, the trucks are in an unkept looking junkyard. The employee is not helpful and does not know anything about the equipment. The equipment is not safe and my car almost fell off my transport in traffic. The transport was missing parts and rusty

lionell bLot was flooded, key was difficult to retrieve. The Vehicle was open in the back and the doors when I picked it up. There was not anywhere to park your car without worry it was going to be broken into. (this is not a dig to the area, there just wasn't anywhere to actually park it on the property safely). Vehicle was very dirty.
MADDISON SNo one explain the miles overage to me. I've rented u-hauls on multiple occasions and have never paid or heard of a mileage charge
Jermaine SThe building didn't have AC or fans. It was 90+ degrees in Dallas and felt hotter inside. Inside it was just a gas station setup with candy, Vapes, and dollar store products like gloves, twine, etc. All of it was from the dollar tree and marked up to $5 or more. Everything was incredibly over priced. The manager was on a personal call and operating alone so I had to sit out back in the lot and wait for him. He lied about the fuel level and luckily I have video proof of the true fuel level. The ratchet straps for the car trailer came loose several times when I have never had a problem in the past. The tire on the car trailer was sagging when we picked it up but were told it passed inspection. Wouldn't you know it, that same tire blew 20 miles down the interstate. We sat for 3 hours waiting for uhaul to find someone to replace our tire and get us moving again. Then because we were so far behind schedule, we had to rent a hotel on top of everything else. I hate this store. I hate uhaul. I will tell everyone I ever meet about my experience if it is relevant or if they ask for recommendations. I should have chosen budget or Penske. Sitting for 3 hours stranded thanks to uhaul's failures, I couldn't help but feel jealous of all of the Penske trucks sailing by us. And not 40 miles down the interstate, we passed another uhaul stranded on the side of the road. Uhaul's policy for maintenance is ignore it until it catastrophicly fails on a customer.... then see if we can pass the repair off on them. Avoid like the plague!
Christopher CDropped off after hours and it's in an area that feels unsafe at night. Also, not this locations fault, but I received a text from U-Haul telling me to drop it off at another location, and when I got there, the app told me to go to this location. Was very frustrated with the U-Haul system making me drive all over Dallas because of inconsistent information being distributed.

Nigel AThis location had awful customer service. They almost didnt accept my US bank card because they said it has to be a major bank, which US bank is. Eventually they realized my card was on file and charged it that way. They threatened me several times to file a police reort saying I stole the Uhaul even though I went online and exteneded my reservation and was in communication with them. Absolutely horrible

Gary MWell, the online reservation went well but the online pick-up times are not accurate with the actual business hours which ended up costing me a $20 after hours fee which Zainab did not discuss with me. The equipment was very nice, clean, and updated. Please match online hours with actual business hours so people are not charged an after hours fee. Seems fixed to me, Thanks!

Michael DThe trunk was dirty and smelly, they weren't ready for me when I got there. I had to switch trucks twice just to get the truck I wanted when they said it wasn't even there even though it was reserved. The equipment wasn't ready for me either. It made me a whole 45 min late with moving
