I dropped off the rental truck Dec 4 around 3:30pm, well ahead of the time I needed to drop off the truck which was Dec 5 by 9:30am. On Dec 6, a representative from U-Haul phoned me and asked when I was returning the truck, to which I responded that I already did. I was very confused by this. I made sure that the truck's inside was as clean as when I picked it up. However, I received a receipt on Dec 6 with a $50 cleaning charge. Very upset about this and unsure why. I am waiting to speak with Ravi at the drop off location why I was charged this fee.

The staff didn't know what to do at the time I picked up the AT. Better Training for the staff would be great.. You also need to have a better phone reservation system as I DO NOT have CELL service. The girl I talked to was nice but there are places in the world that do not have cell connections.and don't have smartphones.

For a new person to this sort of U-Haul location it was a bit confusing and I think the staff at location assumed the customer would know what needed to be done. The process is a tiny bit tedious but once you go through it, it all makes sense. As long as all the technical pieces are working (failed for me the first time from home and I assumed I could just do at site with an agent) its really not bad. The equipment I chose was perfect for my needs so much that I was looking to see if I could buy one.

Worst moving experience of my life. They moved my reservation three times on me, downgraded me from a 26” to a 20” for the same price, moved my pickup to 30 minutes away from my original booking and charged me mileage and fuel and when I went to pickup at 7am they said it wasn't ready and to come back at 9am so I wasted 2 hours of driving and had to pay movers that were booked for 2 hours to sit and wait for the u haul truck. Will never recommend this company to anyone

It is my view U-HAUL has changed its business model to a level that is too high tech. U-Haul has moved too many administrative responsibilities to the customer. It seems it would be impossible to even initiate a rental without a smart phone, a computer and the internet. The agents appear to do nothing more than provide storage space for the U-HAUL equipment and perhaps a telephone to communicate with what appeared to be a U-HAUL regional representative. Undoubtedly, the agent involvement reflects the amount they are paid from U-HAUL. There is little competition in this market and it is very evident U-HAUL is taking full advantage of the situation. When it came time for telephone communication during initiation of the rental, I found the U-HAUL representative most arrogant and difficult.

Couldn't be bothered to rent the newer unit because it had a trailer attached to it and didn't feel like disconnecting it

At the last second we were told to drop off at different location and now u haul is charging for extra mileage when they said they wouldnt and I left more gas in tank than what drop off location said. Dont like being lied to and taken advantage of. U haul said they wouldnt charge extra and u haul did! Shame on you U Haul!

There is no lock box to return keys. The clerk “helping” was rude and unaware of the process for online bookings. Will not be renting from this location again. Never had an experience like this at any other uHaul. I was also missing equipment I reserved.

It's weird that you have to walk behind the store counter to the office in the back. While in the office one of the store clerks was very rude and kept walking back and forth in front of us. She had absolutely no manners - the older, red haired woman. She made no effort to be polite to us or the customers she was serving. It made the experience unpleasant.

Waiting 45 mins because neither attendant at this location new how to complete my reservation and pickup! They never even walked us to our trailer which was hard to find. I'm not horribly hard to please but the service was ridiculous!

Trailer was dirty outside, pending weather, but clean inside.,. Your website to do initial pickup registration sucked. Took the Lady at least 20 minutes because of website to get me going....

Provide the correct light hookups for the trailer so customers don't have to run around getting special adapters made to use the trailer

Took 6 tries to change the reservation as they had no packing materials on site. 3PM pickup appointment and nobody on site was available to process the paperwork didn't get away until 4PM. No assistance in hooking up the trailer or to check that I knew what I was doing I hooking up the trailer.

Given some previous experiences with U-Haul I was pleasantly surprised with the service and particularly the condition of the vehicle. I use U-Haul occasionally and the one very upsetting thing about is as follows: I order a vehicle or a trailer in advance and when I go to pick it up it is unavailable. I have had to drive hours out of my way to pick up vehicle or the vehicle is damaged in such a way as to make it not weatherproof. The main thing is when renting time is of the essence. I greatly resent having to waste my time while they look for a vehicle I need now and then have to drive hours to find one. This is not a problem with the proprietors but rather a problem with U-Haul not being able to accommodate customers by arranging delivery of a vehicle at the appointed time.

Inexperienced with rental. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to the store that knew how to rent the unit. Did not have the supplies I ordered online (and was charged for) Matt's and dolly. Despite paying online, both locations added additional charges after picking up the unit. Trucks brakes squealed something aweful, must be shot or close to. Does anyone even inspect these things. Gas was at 1/4 tank. How on earth are you supposed to know how much gas the truck will use and bring it back with that amount. Tanks should be full and you top off what you use. This is obviously some shady tactic to get more gas out of the customer by uhaul. Pretty sad. Also, said I get 100 bucks if my order wasn't available. I never got any of my moving supplies and no forward warning of them not being available. Online said if my rental was

They told us we had to leave and go get paperwork from a different town because they don't have a printer or computer. Then when I said I had an email telling me to come to that location and not the one in Williams lake she told me I could just take the trailer without paperwork. I spent 120 minutes dealing with pickup and drop off issues at this location and on the phone to the 800 number. This was the worst uhaul experience I've ever had and I have rented a lot of uhauls
