our u haul wouldn't start- when it finally did we left. the battery was DEAD at our first location and wouldn't start again after loading the entire truck. We had to wait for roadside assistance and miss our move time at the other location. Finally it got boosted- then we got to the other location and it DIED AGAIN, on the street. We couldn't even turn it off after this point and had to dump all our stuff and leave. it was -20 outside, FREEZING cold, and I had no place to sleep that night because the whole event caused us to miss our moving time. I would never do that experience again.

Tried to charge my card for more than the agreed on fees, did not inform me of any reason they would take it. Just charged my card with no warning on a second charge

My message is not for next customer but for the employee of where we pick up the truck to clean and don't charge us for the mess that we didn't do it. We return the truck right away even we can return it Tuesday..we even return the truck with extra gas...but to experience this so bad behavior employee at 105 Ave NW Edmonton AB which is our designated return uhaul location is not acceptable.

The trucks are in mph and very confusing to convert. WE'RE IN CANADA!!!

The outlet uhaul customer agent didnt seem to interested to help with getting the uhaul inspected. He said dont worry about reading the contract and it didnt look like the inside of the uhaul driving ares had been cleaned though.

This location has very good customer service. I filled the fuel tank (originally on EMPTY) and they refunded an honest and fair amount. Thanks kindly!

We had a few issues, one was miss placing the key. ( inside the house ). I was under the impression that i had paid the extra for roadside help or it would cost $200 I went back to uhaul location, and asked if had a spare key (no) called uhaul they said that location could agree to add road side as an after the fact thing. Went back to location, worker said he thought i had it he even checked the computer and confirmed i had it. So he called his boss. Who asked to be put on speaker phone to yell at me for being dumb and how he could now charge me late fees and charge me friday, sarurday, Sunday, monday, plus fee for new key so wasnt i smart. I said okay and left. Called uhaul back and they said that first lady was wrong and it would cost over $450 Found key, went to start U-Haul and the music would play but the engine wouldnt start. So we called someone for road side assistance and out one of the ignition fuses was dead and needing replacing which would require changing the key. So it cost 396$ but we finally got the truck going and got it returned in time.

I was a bit confused by the mobile pickup process - It was a bit hard to understand when I called - but in the end, all was great. Just a bit confused at first. When I received the link to begin the check-in process, I was just directed to a page to edit my reservation - there was no option to check in.

The truck allotted for us was not available and rebooking created delays in picking up the truck. There were some few trashes and left-over water bottle in the truck. Service was somewhat average.

The inside of the cab and truck box were nice and clean but the windshield was covered with bugs when I picked the vehicle up. It would have been nice if that had been cleaned too.

If at all possible, avoid U-Haul like the plague. Use another rental company where possible. A company that actually honours the reservations that they claim to have made.

Small and cramped counter. Horrible cell signal in building, no wifi inside. Pickup took far too long. Online checkin failed.

This is the most disgusting experience I have ever had. At the last minute there was a change in the size of the van from a 15 foot to a 10 foot. It took us 5 trips back and forth to complete the move and as seniors this was extremely difficult but I guess what do you care. The amount I was paying for a 15 foot van was cheaper than what I paid. When they changed the van the refused to take my caa card for the discount that I was getting with the first van. This is no way to treat people. I will never use your service again and will make sure no one I know will ever either. This company and the people we dealt with where we picked up the van should all be ashamed of themselves. Give me the credit I am due.

I had reserved a 10' truck at one location and they did not have any equipment available when I showed up. I said I had a reservation and they very quickly said they had no trucks until Monday. I called the reservation center and they were able to find me similar equipment at a nearby location. They also put me in touch with a team that got me the same price (the similar equipment was larger). I appreciated the efforts of the agents I spoke to, but the original pickup location needs to improve.

The clerk at the store charged me for a rental, then proceeded to try to only rent me a hand truck despite my request for a 15 foot truck . He claimed his internet wasn't working but was still charging people with credit and debit and using his phone. Very slow, acted very sketchy and I ultimately was unable to get a truck from them which severely delayed my move.

The price is 100 % misleading. What was supposed to be 19,95 for the day ended up costing me 200.00. I will not use u-haul again and definitely won't recommend it to others.

I felt a little uncomfortable that the location had so much paraphernalia for drugs on site. Lots of rolling papers, bongs etc. I came to rent a truck not purchase items that seemed like they may have fallen off the back of a truck. Other than a few trucks parked in the parking lot, a person would not know that this is a Uhaul location.

I had requested a dolly since I was only moving boxes and one didn't come with the truck. I knew I wasn't able to get one since this was a really weird "pop up" uhual site. If I actually had the choice I'd rather use a real uhual location. This just seems weird and cheap. Also change out your debit machine's already this isn't the year 2000. Get with the times or get left behind.

The service was positive in that I could rent a vehicle fairly quickly, and worked great. The truck could use a wash and probably hasn't been done in a while. Inside of the truck storage area was clean.

Great that everything was done on the app! Grabbed the keys from the man inside the convenience store. Quick and easy and was able to approve my dad as a second driver who was helping me move - also on the app.

The whole place seemed really sketchy...issues with payment despite having a credit card on file along with store owner coming in and saying "you gotta keep this shit on the down low" the card machine also wouldn't accept any of my credit cards despite them having money on them

Double check the pre booked rentals before renting out equipment that should be on hold. My move was more difficult because I didn't have all the equipment I had prebooked. And I had to add extra km's to my trip because I had to find alternative solutions when I should of been able to get everything at pick up.

The workers were I credibly rude and they estimate coat they told me was 88 and the final bill was 160! When i asked them why the price was double the estimate he got very hostile and raised his voice at us. It was all around a horrible experience

Paperwork on dash had marked 7/8 tank of fuel when actual was 3/4. They even asked if I filled it up. I put fuel back to 3/4. Truck front end unsafe. Not acceptable.

At no point did I ask for the insurance but I seem to have been billed for it. I was told to fill it to 1/4 and I would be reimbursed for the gas. So, I put in $10. How am I supposed to guess how much will take it from 1/8 tank to 1/4? So, no credit for the gas even though I paid the mileage fee. If the store would say something clear that can be done like, "Put in 30 liters." I would have been happy to do so.

I never received my bill after I checked the truck in and you told me it would be emailed now its more and I have no reason why.

The person behind the counter told me they were open until 10 p.m. Then asked if I would have it back in time. I had booked the truck from 730 - 300 a.m. and was confused as to why it was implied I had to have the truck back before the closing time of his convenience store. He then said it because someone needed it in the morning. I started to make phone calls to try and arrange more help with my move and at different dates/times other than what I had planned because I was given the impression I wasn't allowed to book it past the store's closing. When I told the person behind the counter that I wouldn't have it back before 10 pm, rather had booked it until 3 am and would have to cancel; he said "Oh we have a key box at the side of the building" 30 min of my move time wasted with undue stress trying to change my plans because the store clerk wanted the truck back before his closing time is unacceptable.

Vehicle was not clean (needed vacuum done), also called mechanic to get repairs done, had down time, gas in tank was below it was claimed. The manager in the area was to call me and I am waiting. My number is 7809845751

Initially, the check-in process was confusing, untill i got into the app and slowly walk through the process. I it turned out easier than I had anticipated. The check out process was confusing, and I needed help from the attendant; as the app would take the mileage number inputted. I had left my remote control door openers in the unit, which was re-rented when I returned to retrieve them. The attended was most helpful locating the truck, and worked with the new renter to allow me to pick up the remote from their location. Many thanks. Yes, I'm very happy with the experience, I'll use U-Haul again when I need another truck. Thanks

The location is very hard to find and not well labeled. There were uhaul trucks on both sides of the street and it was confusing where to park
