The store owners were friendly, but parking was terrible and the roads were hard to navigate. Also pickup and drop off could have been alot easier. I found some pretty nasty garbage in the centre console that I cleaned myself. Other than that, my rental did what it needed to do.

A sign on the outside of the building to notify you that it is a U-Haul rental agency would be nice.

ALI WThe van that we rented was equipped with all season tires. All season tires are rated for 3 seasons; at -7C they are dangerous and cannot be used. We got stuck multiple times and needed to use gravel to gain traction. If we had know at the time of the booking that the van had tires that were not suitable for winter climate we certainly would not have rented it. After talking to roadside assistance and customer support they suggest we do the 'penny test' and send pictures. They then sent someone from somewhere to check the tires. This gentleman admitted they are not safe in the winter, especially right now seeing as it's -25C where I rented the van. But he also said U-Haul wouldn't accept that seeing as these tires were in good condition. Eventually an area manager contacted us saying the cost would all be covered and to keep it as long as we need. 2 days later the rental store charged us for 3 full days and claimed we returned the van at 10:08pm which was completely false. The area manager quickly reversed the charges for us. Darren was very helpful. If there was a winter package offered we would have happily paid for it at the time of the reservation. Talking with customer support that is based in Arizona and attempting to explain the difficulty of winter driving with basically a summer tire was frustrating. Most of the so called "management" was rude and condescending. It's absolutely reckless to rent vehicles that are not equipped for safe driving and I will happily tell that to anyone that wants to listen.

Candas JWhen I arrived for the truck there were no furniture dollies like I requested and paid for (a refund is requested). The location was sketchy and I was apprehensive leaving my personal vehicle. The other U-Haul truck had the passenger side window smashed out of it. My rental truck was very nice and lovely to drive. Probably won't choose this location again though. Please consider refund for equipment not provided. Thank you, Tanya Labinowicz

The storage part of the vehicle had huge cardboard boxes from a previous move and the floor had debris. So had to vacuum out the back section…my daughter wasn't impressed. :/

Kai BSo this isn't the locations fault but a flaw with U-Haul's system. I saw that the hours posted online for my pickup location were 11-7. I selected the mobile pickup option so I could pick it up at 9. When I arrived at 9, I selected the mobile pickup and was told to wait until 11 to pick it up. Fortunately, the hours online were incorrect and the location was open at 9. But if the mobile pickup wasn't available, I would have gone elsewhere as it was important for me to be able to pick up at 9. Be wary of U-Haul's alleged mobile pickup!

Curtis HI had to pump fuel after picking the unit, as fuel was less than a quarter. The operator side (inside the vehicle) was very smelly like animal poops. Other than that the service team was great, friendly and set everything quickly to get the vehicle.

Finni VI am very disappointed with my pick up experience. The truck fuel tank was almost empty. It was not clean or washed at all and even it did not have wind shield washer fluid. I will not go back to the same location to pick up one in future.

trevor sWhy was I billed for 20 miles (32 km) when I'm in Canada? I actually only used 20kms, but my receipt sales I was charged for 20 miles instead. This is $12/difference because your website states I should've been charged $.99/km. I want a credit back for this difference

Tai nHello there, I rented a Uhaul Cargo Van for 4 hours. I used the van for around an hour and returned it. I used the vehicle for a grand total of 6KM. When the final contract was provided, I was told that i was charged for the 5,68 litres of fuel sales. I would've been ok if I was charged for a litre of fuel. But this is extreme overcharging and wish you can do something about this. It's not so much about the 11,65$ I was overcharged, but it's about the principles. It was 6km of utility. This almost felt like someone stole my money professionally. Please look into this and let me know what kind of solution you can provide for me. Thanks Dinaesh

Maulid AAbsolutely disappointed with my first and probably the last time with U-Haul. I reserved the truck with an appliance dolly. Agreed to pay the amount. Entered my credit card information and every other detail that was asked. Then, 2 days later I receive a call saying I'll have to pick it up at a different location. Fine, no big deal. The person calling me confirms my equipment is available at the location and will be ready for me. I ask twice, and I'm told YES it's there. I show up for my scheduled pick up and the store person tells me, very calmly, " Yeah no dolly today, just the truck. U-Haul never gives us dollies. If you want you can rent one from is for an additional $7" it takes me 50 minutes to try and explain that I specifically booked an appliance dolly because of my bad knee and back and that I was told it's available. By the end I had to settle for the smaller dolly and pay $7. I insisted on getting the U-Haul orange one. And apparently THAT they have. Even after entering all the details online I had to do everything over at the counter too. Returning the truck was less of an issue other than the part where the guy tells me. "Ok I've seen your pictures, everything looks good but I'll do the return check in on the computer". "Don't worry about it". The store itself is in such a sketchy neighborhood and t I'm in fear of my information being leaked to the wrong people. I never picked that location in the first place. Absolutely dreadful. If it hadn't been for my, angel of a friend, to show up with his truck and couple of his friends, I wouldn't have been able to finish by time sensitive move.
MOHAMMED AThe person helping me at the front was not wearing a mask both for pickup and drop off and additionally ignored me to help someone set up a phone who was there after I queued. The mask made me extremely uncomfortable- we're almost two years into the pandemic and we're experiencing a HUGE spike in cases. Additionally, she grabbed my phone to confirm the mileage and gas and didn't sanitize her hands after touching her face nor before touching my phone. This was a violation of Provincial Health Guidelines and I didn't feel safe at this location.
Jacob BOh my, this place was awful. We waited so long to help, there's meth pipes, bongs, knives, you name it - being sold here. I thought it was a 7/11 which was my original pick up location so not only did I have to drive farther and acquire more millage I also was frustrated with the poor service. Also I have never been charged so much for not filling up the tank properly. It was on t touching the fill line but was not over it. Probably 1$ worth of gas and they charged me over $10. Do not go here. I help clients move all the time and I've never had issues like this.

Originally it was due back at 9pm on Nov 1st, then the time got extended to 9am Nov 2nd. However, I got a call stating the truck was late to return at 10pm on November 1st. There doesn't seem to be much communication.

However, when i arrived they didn't have any of my info and we had to re apply all over again and we ended up being late to our move in appointment. I ordered two dollies online and they only gave me one to use. This made moving our things take a whole lot longer. Other than that everything was fine.
