I had problems getting through the website ordering process so called the 800 # to place my request. The customer service rep was very helpful. Service at the pickup site was exceptional. Would recommend a double check on availability of accessories. I requested an appliance dolly when I placed the order but the local dealer did not have one available when I got there.

Have more people at this location that know how to rent trucks out, and check them back in. No one was available to check the truck in when I returned it to the store. So I waited, and wait. They tried to get a hold of someone, and then ask me to come back at 7:00pm, and I live 12 miles from the store for a total of 24 miles.

My only issue was that I had to drive 20 miles to pick up the truck and 20 miles back to return it at $.79 a mile. Hillsboro needs to have other locations IN TOWN where you can rent U-Haul’s. There is a place by right aid in town but no one is ever there to let you rent a truck.

ordered the truck &12 moving blankets online the night before ,didn't check before I left,thinking they would of been stocked the night before got to location to find out there was none added in the truck.Had to borrow some from people I bought furniture from to have to take them back when finished wasting gas & time, if someone would of took the time to look and add them.

The people at the pick up location were super nice. I had a different location picked though so I had called the 1-800 number to see if I could get it for a cheaper price the guy not only got an attitude with me but didn't even take ten dollars off of the price as he promised. Because of his nasty attitude I will more then likely never rent a uhaul again. I feel like someone who answers the phone for a customer service number should be nice. Not rude.

First time I have reserved online for U-Haul. Online experience was fine. Was lead to believe I would receive a phone call the night before the reservation to spell out rental details and schedule a pick-up time. That didn’t happen. I found out later that I did receive an email for a noon pick-up but that doesn’t help me when I have no internet and was expecting a phone call. The night before the reservation, I went to the old address in preparation to the move. I went to Louie’s Sonoco, but no 20’ truck. Even more troubling, clerk told me supposed to be closed Wed, the 10th. I scrambled through local phonebook for a U-Haul number as I have no internet. Fortunately, number I found was a link to U-Haul 800. Guy on the other end of the line was good. He quickly figured where my 20’ truck was (4 miles away at 6941 St Rt 753, otherwise known as Joey’s to locals). Called Joey’s and negotiated a 9am pickup. Pick-up went fine Wed morning except this: why can’t they start the sign in procedure before the actual acquired time (9am)? That’s taking time away from my rental time. Clerk said I was allotted 92 miles. No mention of a charge if you surpass the mileage. I drove straight to the old house (4 miles), and loaded up the truck. I drove straight to the new house. Its 90 miles from the old house to the new house so, I’ve already surpassed the mileage allotment. The next morning I drove straight to the drop off point at Brookville Rental (7miles). I didn’t deviate from the agreed course to deliver and return the truck. I don’t believe I should have been charged ($4.72) extra for 10 or 12 miles beyond U-Haul’s mileage estimate. Truck was just what we needed our belongings and it performed as expected.

I was offered a 20.00 refund if I returned it by 9 am on 7-5-14 . I told the I would have it back on the 4th, they told me I didn't get the refund. Also I was overcharged for gas. They said it had 3/4 of tank before I took it. When I got in the vehicle it had a little over 1/2 a tank. I will never rent a uhaul from them again.

I asked to change my drop off location before I left with the trailer. I was told by the Hillsboro location employee that, "As long as you call UHAUL for the alternate drop off before you actually do it, there won't be a problem. If you don't call, they will charge you a fee. " So, I called before and was informed by the scheduling office that I could not change the drop off location without a fee; even with me calling ahead before the drop off. I was given erroneous information by a representative of UHAUL. Then I was charged extra money by UHAUL for THEIR mistake. I don't have an issue with paying for a mitake I make. However, I took the time to try and prevent the issue with my inquiry about the alternate drop off at the initial pick up of the equipment. Now, despite my forethought, I am being financially punished. This is an epic fail on the part of UHAUL to fairly service their customer. It almost smells like theft by deception to me. I had planned on using their trailers for my vacations for years to come. UHAUL their last dime out of me. I will never rent from your company again. Your loss!

I rented an Auto Transport trailer, but there were not many in my area. The location where I had to pick this trailer up, was a little far from where I live. But I really needed one, so I didn't mind driving out there to pick it up.I also had to drive all the way back to the same location to return the trailer. It would have been nice to be able to drop it off at a location that was closer to my home. Overall, another positive rental experience from U-HAUL . Thanks !

make sure that 753 enterprise puts down all information correctly...trish that works there, is the one that helped me and she took a 100 dollar deposit from me because I paid in cash, and she did not put it on the paper work, therefore, I did NOT get my 100 dollar deposit back!!!!!! And I can NOT afford that mistake, if in fact it was a mistake.........

Agent was 1/2 hour late arriving for the rental appointment (9:00 AM). The check-in took quite a long time, possibly due to computer issues,. Nevertheless, we had to go through the rental process twice. The agent did not remove the dozen pads from our rental contract, even though they did not have any at that location.

Everything was a positive experience. The trailer was old and a little shabby looking but it trailered perfectly and got me from Santa Rosa Ca. to Hillsboro Ohio through a snow storm in Ft. Collins Colorado with no problems. I am very greatful that I had a safe and uneventful 2600 mile trip. The U-Haul personel at both ends were very helpful and friendly Many thanks.

check in lady wanted me to put more gas in the truck than it called for,had to argue with her about that,then they wanted to overcharge me for more mileage than i used because first location wrote wrong mileage on sales receipt had to call uhaul rep think i might be in the process of receiving a refund on overcharge ,overall not a good experiance.

You could inform people returning equipment to a location, that is also a gas station, that there will be a $30.00 charge for putting the fuel in the truck! This is our 3rd time using U-Haul in 5 years, but it will certainly be my last!

The appliance cart was pretty expensive ofr using on one appliance only to find out that we could not use it because it would have damaged our refridgerator. Other than that the move went well and the truck did good on gas, but we only used it soemthing like 37 miles. Thanks and look forward to using again if need arrises.

My reservation was for Noon and I got there at 12:01 to no one having any record of me having a reservation? So after calling the owner and everything else, I finally got on the road around 12:30. Then I was charged for a dolly that I never received and when I told the lady all she said was 'I already charged it to your card, you'll have to call U Haul about it.' Poor customer service.
