My wife and I were planning a permanent move from Virginia to the Port Saint Lucie area. We needed a place to store our furniture while we searched for a home in the Port Saint Lucie area. We knew nothing about this area before leaving Virginia. Randomly, we picked an A-Plus storage on U.S. Highway 1 to call first. What a great move that turned out to be. After an extensive conversation with CHRIS, we felt very confident securing a large storage unit at this address. After three months of searching for a home in the area, we found a home near this storage facility. Chris was awesome to work with during our three months of searching. Patiently, Chris would answer any and all questions about the area. I watched Chris interact with several customers during our three months with A-Plus Storage. He was always patient, informative and easy to interact with during his dealing with customers. My wife and I are very appreciative of the kindness and assistance Chris offered and gave us over a very trying search for our dream home in the area. The service was great but we had to switch trailers because the one I had reserved had a bad tire. Not just worn but with a large bald spot that went into and through the belts. I had a similar problem with a tire that had a slow leak, flat overnight, in Bend Oregon. It turned into a major issue as we had to wait for the tire truck to come and change wheels. Your a great company but need to do some better inspections on the tires and wheels of your equipment.

In the end, I did get the truck and it worked fine. The location didn't have my selected equipment (2 dollies, neither which were available). The truck also wasn't in the location the app said it was, nor were the keys so I had to go inside, defeating the purpose of using the app. Even though I selected the option saying No, I didn't get the equipment, I was still charged for it too so that's pretty uncool.

I actually need someone to contact me asap. I have been charged 3x the amount I should have been charged. The gentleman charged me before I took the trailer then only 4 hours later I dropped off however he was not there. So I called and left a message because online it was trying to charge me again. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK!!

First time renting a U-Haul truck. I'm glad I picked this location due to all the positive reviews. Would definingly rent the U-Haul truck from this location again, if need be. Chris, was very helpful.

While the representative was helpful, my truck's brake light went on, and I called the office several times, but no one answered the phone. I eventually had to reach out to the return U-Haul in Kissimmee to receive the answers that was needed.

For starters, I was told that the vehicle had holes to hook ratchet straps as I was picking up a brand new motorcycle 2 hours away. I was even given ratchet straps by the worker at this U-Haul location. When the dealership tried to load up the motorcycle come to find that there was NO HOLES AT ALL. At this point I have no way of bringing the motorcycle AND the U-Haul vehicle back home as I went alone and rented a U-Haul FOR THIS VERY REASON. I paid $427 for absolutely nothing. I was than told that the vehicle still needs to be returned to the corresponding location even though there was a U-Haul 0,5 miles away from where I picked up my motorcycle or I would be charged another $300 for wrong destination fee. I had no choice but to drive with the motorcycle back home 2 hours away when I had ZERO INTENTIONS ON DRIVING A MOTORCYCLE 2 HOURS BACK HOME, and coming back the next day to pick up the U-Haul and bring it back to it's corresponding location. And to top it off, on my way home on the motorcycle I get into a motorcycle accident. Now, I have a broken wrist on my right hand, I cannot work for 4 weeks, and my BRAND NEW 2025 MOTORCYCLE IS RUINED and it will cost me a lot of money to repair. Thank you U-Haul, for absolutely fucking me over. Never will I use U-Haul again. I was told by customer service that the manager from the store I rented the vehicle from would give me a call. It's been 3 days and I still have not heard anything. Again, U-Haul is the absolute WORSE vehicle rental service there is. Also, you guys should sanitize your vehicles more as mine smelled like 5 packs of cigarettes.

They charged me for for a whole month. I moved out June 1 2024 was Told I had to Give a 2 week notice which is no where in the contract. And charged me $180 for the whole month of June. I would not recommend A plus rental.

Showed up at 2:40 and the business was closed. Both online and on the front door it said they didn't close till 3. So found another storage facility.

I was charged for 1/2 dozen blankets and 1 hand dolly. But when we went to pick up the truck, the location had neither. And the rep at the pickup location said he wasn't aware of anything, even though it was in our order.

This location I had to switch to. Original system reservation wanted me to drive another 20 miles away. This is my second rental in 1 month and the first one was perfect working with a person at a full service location. This second one was a mess. Truck leaked on our boxes over night when it rained. Just a bad experience.

I DROPPED THE TRAILER OFF HERE. THEY CHARGED ME FOR 2 EXTRA DAYS FOR THE TRAILER.I TRIED CALLING THEM BUT NOBODY WAS ANSWERING. i LEFT THEM A MESSAGE TO CALL ME BACKBUT NOBODY DID. i HAD TO CALL THE 800 NUMBER TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF.

The truck I rented today was a 15-footer and have used this location in times past. However this truck has got several issues including very rough idle which I'm sure affects fuel economy, AC didn't work very well, the windshield apparently leaks as I ran into rain it was dripping all over my leg and the truck needs an alignment and has loose steering. To me for the money I paid for this vehicle was subpar usage. I would appreciate if a supervisor reached out.

Reserved on line, called and called nobody answered, finally drove there and that lazy fat guy which never answer the phone tells me that he has nothing available, I told him I reserved one, he said online is always wrong and he had a slight bigger one for twice as much per month, walked out and rented from a different facility, the worse customer service.
